I have to ask how long did it take you to learn this?? I’m watching you repeatedly weekly and it’s still taking forward to get the main beat of it! 😂😬😵💫
@@lukesuperflyjones If I remember correctly, I listened to the song over the course of a few weeks, probably 25-30 times. I wasn't able to play very often, so I did most of the learning just through memorizing what it sounded like. Then I spent probably 4 evenings total, maybe a couple of hours at a time, playing through it and working on memorizing everything in sections. It's definitely a challenging track, so don't get discouraged with it! My memorization and learning skills grew a lot after working through it, so I'm sure it will be worth your time.

Thanks! It's actually just the original track, unedited. I tried to play true to the original recording and then mixed my drums to be heard over the original drums.

Actually I see you break the hi hat shuffle for those 3 snare hits. Try focussing on just that area. I watched JT’s video on it and he keeps the hi hat shuffle going through all 3 snare hits
