I don't think she anticipated the level of scrutiny that came with being in the Monarchy. Meg's hatred and envy are spurred by her dissatisfaction with living with a dim and weak man. Sure, catching Harry was a great success in getting fame and money for nothing. But "success" also required working for the Royal Family and sticking to decorum -- good manners and traditions. Meg has such a plebeian nature that she is not able to maintain even the minimum of decent behavior. Many of the sugars who support Meg found a kindred spirit in the old trollop.
I think MM is in an anger spiral. Which would explain why her antics scream desperation. She's also getting sloppy with her vicious attacks. Fully believe MM has got H believing that is what took place, rather the more likely case of Di being collateral for the Libyan group going after Dodi to get to Dodi's father.
I felt sorry for Catherine and her mother when MM's mate Anna Pasternak wrote really nasty articles about them. Calling Catherine the Great was a grave insult as the actual Caterine the Great of Russia was not a very nice person and that's an under statement.

The act of forgiveness is often misunderstood. That is , when it is appropriate. Repentance , sincere coupled with acts befitting repentance. Otherwise we leave the matter to God. We can move on (as well as we can and do not allow ourselves to be destroyed by hatred of the offender); otherwise we could be harmed again.

You can forgive someone, and that does not mean you have to let them be in your life. Some people are too toxic to have in your life. Even if they are family.
I have lost my entire life to a narcissist. Some people have asked if I would forgive them if asked. I would forgive them, but I wouldn’t want them back in my life. I value honesty and integrity above almost everything else. How could I allow people who would behave that way back into my life? It’s like a broken bone….it will always ache and never be as strong as before. The relationship can never be the same. I would always wonder, ‘what would it take to revert to that behavior again? Part of asking for forgiveness is RESITITUTION. How can any of the previous lifelong service be so easily ignored when a few stories are all it took to decide to destroy me?

She also made mention of the fact that because of race Archie was not made a prince. Most people in America would have thought she was telling the truth because they don’t understand you have to be the grandchild of the reigning monarch not the great grandchild. The queen offered them the earl of Dumbarton (I believe.) title for Archie, she refused it. She also made the statement that titles were not that important. But then she got hysterical over Archie and Lilibet not being named Prince and Princess immediately upon the Queen‘s death? She really needs help.
She did, but she then almost immediately contradicted herself by making vague mention of the "George V Convention", which is the Letters Patent stating that only the grandchildren of the monarch could bear the title 'prince' or 'princess'. So she knew full well what the rule was and that Archie, being the great-grandchild of the Queen, could not use the title until she had passed and Charles was King. She just said whatever she needed to say to gain sympathy. You are absolutely right about her saying that titles didn't matter - more to the point, shortly after Archie's birth she had her staffer, Sara Latham, release a statement saying that they did not want their son to have a title, and that he would be known as Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

Alongside the British Empire 2.0 tirade, this told me she was going scorched earth and happy to destroy the Queen's legacy. I am American and I love King Charles! I think he has been handed a very crappy hand in life as far as his reputation is concerned. I remember back in the day (yes, aging myself here!), thinking how terrible it was that he was forced to marry someone he didn’t love because of the optics. He loved Camilla long before Diana was in the picture, but wasn’t allowed to pursue that love. Assuming most of us have gotten to marry a person of our own choosing (and many of those marriages don’t work out), I think it is unfair for anyone to judge him for how that relationship turned out. Both Charles and Camilla have paid the price for too many years for not being allowed to follow their hearts in the first place! And now there’s all the backlash aimed towards King Charles in regards to his handling of the UnreMarkebles. King Charles seems to be following in his mother’s footsteps in how to deal with the traitors, but for some reason, most people saw her actions as strategic and brilliant, and his are being seen as weak! King Charles seems to be very intelligent, and I can only assume he is being advised, and I believe he too is playing the long game and allowing Dumb and Dumber to dig their own graves. I wish King Charles and Queen Camilla a long, successful, and happy reign! They have earned it!

There’s something disingenuous about the French documentary. It looks like they visited Archewell’s ‘registered’ office - the registered address is usually just your accountant’s. We did see a glimpse of Archewell’s ‘true’ office in the picture of Harry and Bryony Gordon - they were stood outside a Spanish style building, the external walls were painted orange, and it had the (cringe!) doormat with Megan’s royal cipher on it. It absolutely isn’t the modern, glass-fronted tower block that the French journalist visited. Why didn’t he visit the correct office? Couldn’t he get access because it’s on Harry and Meghan’s Montecito estate? I don’t doubt the money-laundering allegations.

Many times the only way to defeat a narcissist is to hang tight and wait for the narc to defeat themselves. Frustrating during the wait but it will happen. The palace will be consulting with psychologists when thinking of their strategy for sure. I would love to see her try to get into politics. How can you not love Kate. She is the human incarnation of a beautiful, caring, lovely Disney princess. MM is the polar opposite. I knew within a couple of weeks of seeing Harry with her that she was not genuine - my wife questioned me on that and said "is it because sh is an actress?" - I replied 'probably'. As a black American, I have been irritated with people using the word “Woke” to describe any anything they think is “extreme” when the meaning of that term is not about that. Woke is a term that was coined by African Americans in the 1960s and it means to be aware of things that can possibly hurt you. This term was something for black folks to protect themselves. People don’t understand the facets of forgiveness. You forgive when the perpetrator demonstrates true acts of repentance. Otherwise , depending on your religious background , you leave the matter to a higher power. “Vengeance is mine,” is what God has declared ( the Christian Bible ). So the injured party moves on emotionally holding no grudges and gets on with his/her life. It is freeing. I hope the RF can do this. No family deserves the likes of Harry and Meghan.

Over the years I have known a few people who have worked for or with the Royal Family. They aren’t that well paid but there is a great sense of loyalty and good stories.
Whilst up in Balmoral one year the queen wanted to go for a drive so off she drove in her Land rover with her bodyguard for protection. After walking for a while they both took a break and sat amongst the Heather. It was a bit chilly so the bodyguard gave her a coat and placed his flat cap on top of her head. With that, the Queen asked him to take a photo with her camera which he did. Weeks later, a parcel came for him and when he opened it he saw it was a photo of Her Majesty wearing his cap from that day they went for a walk. She told him that she thought he might like it as a reminder of a very pleasant afternoon. The photo is out there in the ether somewhere. 😁

I am old enough to be your mothers 😅 but I am so impressed with your intelligence, perception, logic and ability to see through the noise around what's happened and get to the truth. We need more people in your generation to speak up so eloquently and intelligently about this woke world we live in. And, as someone who has also been abused by narcissists (both women), you are correct in saying they don't deserve forgiveness. I'm right here at #75 with you, having watched from #1! The thoughtfulness, insight, intelligence, kindness, conversation, discussion, and respect in covering each topic is so beautiful to see/hear! Y'all are magic in motion together and I'm here for it! 💜 FYI, Queen Camilla's son came out in an interview and stated his mother married for love, period! He refuted and refused any narrative otherwise. Prince William is gorgeous! My dad, one brother, and both my son's are bald and I cannot picture any of them as other than gorgeous...nor could my mom or the wives of the 3! Families are complicated and beneath the Monarchy is at its core a family. Most of us don't have our family issues displayed on a world stage where judgment is voiced on a world stage...the good, the bad, and the ugly. I do find fault with both H and MM, no matter if it is her influence (which I don't believe all of it is) for displaying dirty laundry in public. It's crass at the very least, damaging to everyone at the very worst, and ugly beyond belief! So I'll share a little bit of a family story: I found out a family member was stealing from my parents (over $10,000)! It weighed heavy on me emotionally and yet, morally it came down to respect for my parents and all they had worked for that I told them what was happening. They confronted the person, negotiated a repayment plan, and that was that for them. The person caught in their scheme confronted me (knew I had been the one to expose them) and then didn't speak to me for 8 years! My parents advised me to be the bigger person and make things right with the thief, not that the thief should make things right with me. I wrestled with the complicated issues involved for a number of years and while I understood the motivation behind the stealing of the money and family dynamics at play, was civil always when we saw each other, I did not apologize or take any other steps to "make things right" between us. I also refused to talk to any other family member about the rift and allowed the other person 's version to stand. Eventually, the truth was exposed and many conversations later, I haven't forgotten and have forgiven this person. I cannot imagine a world where our family issues would be displayed in public! I can imagine the hurt and feelings of betrayal the Prince and Princess of Wale must feel! The dignity they both exude is a wonder to behold as is true for all the other members of the RF!
Interesting story and I’m glad everyone eventually realised who the real villain was in your family. It reminded me of my family when my parents were still alive and my mum was always urging me to make overtures to my troublesome older sister who was continually in an unwarranted sulk about something or other and constantly offended. I did it to please my mum, but at the end of our parents lives that all ended. My elder sister and her husband did some dodgy things regarding money, so my other sister and I did what we could to properly deal with the cash mum and dad had left in the house through a solicitor. We disregarded the money they had already dishonestly obtained and just filed that as yet another reason to severe the relationship. My elder sister told a different story to other family members and they thought we were the dodgy ones. Eventually they discovered the truth and they apologised to us. My other sister and I have since terminated any contact with our elder sister and will never see or talk with her again. It’s a blessed relief not to have her or her family in our lives creating bad feeling all the time. I don’t miss her one bit, in fact if it wasn’t for my mum I would have done it years ago. This is the reason I think the king is making a mistake keeping the door open to the Harkles. Sometimes you have to cut off a diseased branch for the health of the tree. Initially you try to treat the disease, but when it is too far gone you have to put the tree first. You certainly don’t forgive the branch and let it remain, slowly but surely destroying the tree. In my opinion the Harkles need to have their titles removed and never invited to another royal occasion.
The coronation family picture is to show that this is the last time Harry was a part of our lives! It also includes Harry’s wife to clearly highlight Charles is not vindictive and to highlight who came into the family to remove Harry from his family!

I remember our late Queen’s Coronation. It was 7 years after WW2 and was the first happy occasion since the war. At the time, people thought it was the beginning of a new Elizabethan era. Sweets came off ration for the occasion which pleased a lot of people. Us kids were not used to them so it wasn’t such a big deal. My dad was ecstatic! I had my first ice lolly - I remember it like it was yesterday. I had red lips from the colouring. Now we have a king who is in his seventies and the country is broke. Add to that the ‘health and safety’ culture and the king cannot stuff the Abbey to the rafters for his coronation. We live in different times. Technology has moved on so we can watch the show on colour TV instead of tiny black and white ones and people across the world can join in even if it is at an unsuitable time of the day. There’s also the option to record. Hopefully the day will progress peacefully. Many vested interests are preparing to demonstrate. Some are planning to throw rape alarms at the horses in the parade. If this happens, there could be many fatalities. Hopefully common sense will prevail. It’s sad that a minority is hell bent on spoiling the day for the majority but that’s life in this self obsessed society. God save the King.
@@roselee4445 Yes, all military and police horses are nuisance trained. Many years ago, I used to ride Army horses and they are more reliable than civilian horses but rape alarms are a new low. I was reading an article in my newspaper yesterday by someone who recently served in the cavalry and he was most concerned about this new development and even said that there could be deaths of both riders and the public if horses ran out of control. Remember that horses are herd animals. Can you imagine what might happen if one of the carriages was attacked in this way? It doesn’t bear thinking about. Military horses are larger than most and you really wouldn’t want to be hit by one let alone be in a carriage when the horses bolted. I’m not being over dramatic here. I’m sure this is being taken very seriously. Should the worse happen and there are fatalities, the perpetrators should be charged with murder.

I appreciate that you brought up the scam of charitable giving. I learned that decades ago, too. These "non-profits" are a means of profit for the founders. VERY little goes to the people or causes they say they are helping. Look at RedCross, Goodwill, BLM......I don't give anymore. I use my money to help those I know or to build my family's financial future. No more willing participation in graft.
That's exactly what I do. My charity money goes to my family and charities that don't contact me except a small charity work update by post once a year.
Same, I donate food, shampoo, soap, clothes and zero money, for that purpose. And I take it directly to the shelter and give it to one of the patrons and not the controller. That way I know the patrons know there are donations and they will share it. One man said to me I will get the controller, I said no, I’m giving YOU this stuff, you do with it what ever you want. I knew he would share
The Salvation Army helped after Hurricane Katrina more than any organization. The gave water cases, hurricane kits with great items in it. Red cross a big nothing. Goodwill gives nothing which is bizarre. Salvation army is the only one I give to. Also I support pet shelters.
Non -profit and profit almost similar function, not too much difference. Many people don't realize that. I never spend a dime on non or profit organizations. Give away of some things you won't use or give the dog foods, bowls, etc only way to keep them in line or use it for its charity. If give money, they divert it.

One of the female UK solicitors told me that it has to be the last thing to make a complaint about one’s adverse/unfair treatment from an employer because even if the employee wins their case it makes it very difficult to find another job which is really unfair.

Then Mary's influence on Elizabeth, and Elizabeth's on William. Markle is a gnat on the back of an elephant. Remember what Mary did with Edward and Wallis. Remember why Victoria chose Mary for Albert, and then her son King George V. Elizabeth knew Charles. That's why she chose Diana. But Elizabeth knew William would be the stronger king and that's why she fiercely fought to remain on the throne until her dying breath. God rest her soul. Pluto, you & Zac give me faith in the younger generation, it's so great to see a younger couple with their heads screwed on, common sense & all around good, genuine, smart people! If my kids grow up to be like either of you then I will be proud. I 1000% agree with you about William, he should not just forgive & let Harry get away with it all. You get treated how you allow people to treat you & there comes a point, family or not where you have to put a stop to it & have to stop allowing yourself to be a doormat.
Your discussion on forgiveness was excellent.❤There are times where you absolutely set people to the side and no longer deal with them. Wrong is wrong and you don’t need to pretend what they did is ok.
For me, the line of forgiveness starts and ends on whether the harm was intentional or not. People are bound to hurt you one way or another. Does it mean you never forgive and move on? But if the person intentionally hurt you (knowing what they were doing and the repercussions on you/your family), here is where the line ends for me. No going back. I erase this person from my life and move forward.

Occasionally I have seen people do something slightly rude and then feel sorry and throes people you can lay back in to your life but it’s wise stay wary for a bit until they prove themselves trustworthy again.

Great episode. I remember the royals in the 90s, and the whole Diana scandal was terrible for the Queen and the royals. She was publicly maligned for not showing up with the boys after Diana's death, and in hindsight, that was the right thing to do. Lest we forget her annus horribilis. She kept her head down, and we saw the public respect on her death. I am looking forward to the coronation, and hopefully, we can forget the harkles at last!

Yes I remember that too. The press and the public were scathing at the time. The way I saw it, was that her whole life Her Majesty put the country before her own family such was her promise to us. This one time she put her grandchildren first and the whole country was up in arms almost as if she was our property. She was not our property, she was a human being, a loving grandmother, and her grandchildren needed her as Charles went to Paris to bring their mother back. I always respected her for making that decision. In decades of putting her people first just for a few days in a long lifetime of service she put Harry and William first. I miss her and Philip so much.
The press had no choice but to shift public anger to the Queen. At the time people were disgusted by the press, they were aggressive to the press that was outside BP and people outright blamed the press for Diana’s death. It was an act of self preservation to shift the focus to a non existent flag (which was historically procedurally correct) and the “heartlessness” of the Monarch. Fleet Street has always been ruthless in their survival. But then, so has the monarchy.
Diana wanted the scandal. She could have left the scenery and spend some time with any lover or friends in privacy all over the world. Disappear for a while and enjoy your peace. We see how its possible with so many prominent people who are never to be seen. But she wanted publicity. And THIS part of history is repeating itself. Pretending to want to be left alone, but somehow ...not really.
If she knew it wasn't racism, why did they accept an award for it? She said it was expressed as a "concern," but what if it was just curiosity, as per Chris Rock? They can't complain about their kids being left out of the brochure, Charles has no photos of them. It is glaringly apparent that it is H&M's fail, and a smart move by Charles.

Forgiveness. It's not always so easy. I have siblings that I love and wish the very best, yet I have decided to cut them out of my life because my relationship with them is continually dysfunctional and cruel beyond repair. Thankfully, most families don't have to air their dysfunction on a world stage.
I’m struggling with this. I’m trying to find forgiveness for my mother - she was violent and abusive during my childhood. We don’t have contact (because she’s dangerous), but I feel like I need to forgive (to move on, at last, and be free of all of this anger and trauma). How did you do it? I wish you would search for Queen Elizabeth’s speech in 2011 during her final visit to Australia. I remember hearing it live, and I could tell she knew she wouldn’t be making the trip down here again. The speech is almost a goodbye, it’s beautifully written and I got the feeling that she either wrote it herself or had a lot of personal input. I know she had more input with speeches as she got older, she was sincere and had a wonderful way with words, it’s a heartfelt speech to Australia .
You both have exceptional wisdom for people of your age. You are spot on about how dangerous family members can be. There is most definitely a limit, especially you are raising your own parents and you have a toxic narcissistic parent because they will stop at nothing to create conflict.

I have lost my entire life to a narcissist. Some people have asked if I would forgive them if asked. I would forgive them, but I wouldn’t want them back in my life. I value honesty and integrity above almost everything else. How could I allow people who would behave that way back into my life? It’s like a broken bone….it will always ache and never be as strong as before. The relationship can never be the same. I would always wonder, ‘what would it take to revert to that behavior again? Part of asking for forgiveness is RESITITUTION. How can any of the previous lifelong service be so easily ignored when a few stories are all it took to decide to destroy me?

She also made mention of the fact that because of race Archie was not made a prince. Most people in America would have thought she was telling the truth because they don’t understand you have to be the grandchild of the reigning monarch not the great grandchild. She did, but she then almost immediately contradicted herself by making vague mention of the "George V Convention", which is the Letters Patent stating that only the grandchildren of the monarch could bear the title 'prince' or 'princess'. So she knew full well what the rule was and that Archie, being the great-grandchild of the Queen, could not use the title until she had passed and Charles was King. She just said whatever she needed to say to gain sympathy.
You are absolutely right about her saying that titles didn't matter - more to the point, shortly after Archie's birth she had her staffer, Sara Latham, release a statement saying that they did not want their son to have a title, and that he would be known as Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

Editing and manipulating the Queen's speech in the Netflix series was a big wake up call. Alongside the British Empire 2.0 tirade, this told me she was going scorched earth and happy to destroy the Queen's legacy. I am American and I love King Charles! I think he has been handed a very crappy hand in life as far as his reputation is concerned. I remember back in the day (yes, aging myself here!), thinking how terrible it was that he was forced to marry someone he didn’t love because of the optics. He loved Camilla long before Diana was in the picture, but wasn’t allowed to pursue that love. Assuming most of us have gotten to marry a person of our own choosing (and many of those marriages don’t work out), I think it is unfair for anyone to judge him for how that relationship turned out. Both Charles and Camilla have paid the price for too many years for not being allowed to follow their hearts in the first place! And now there’s all the backlash aimed towards King Charles in regards to his handling of the UnreMarkebles. King Charles seems to be following in his mother’s footsteps in how to deal with the traitors, but for some reason, most people saw her actions as strategic and brilliant, and his are being seen as weak! King Charles seems to be very intelligent, and I can only assume he is being advised, and I believe he too is playing the long game and allowing Dumb and Dumber to dig their own graves. I wish King Charles and Queen Camilla a long, successful, and happy reign! They have earned it!

We did see a glimpse of Archewell’s ‘true’ office in the picture of Harry and Bryony Gordon - they were stood outside a Spanish style building, the external walls were painted orange, and it had the (cringe!) doormat with Megan’s royal cipher on it. It absolutely isn’t the modern, glass-fronted tower block that the French journalist visited. Why didn’t he visit the correct office? Couldn’t he get access because it’s on Harry and Meghan’s Montecito estate? I don’t doubt the money-laundering allegations.

How can you not love Kate. She is the human incarnation of a beautiful, caring, lovely Disney princess. MM is the polar opposite. I knew within a couple of weeks of seeing Harry with her that she was not genuine - my wife questioned me on that and said "is it because sh is an actress?" - I replied 'probably'. Now I know that the actress thing is just part of her psychological makeup - playing a part all the time and trying to climb the social ladder.

I wanted to correct you on your comment “Meghan is the Queen of Woke”. As a black American, I have been irritated with people using the word “Woke” to describe any anything they think is “extreme” when the meaning of that term is not about that. Woke is a term that was coined by African Americans in the 1960s and it means to be aware of things that can possibly hurt you. This term was something for black folks to protect themselves. Laterly, Pundits like Piers Morgan has destroyed a term that was meant to empower black Americans to a term that dismisses anything that isn’t part of the “Norm”.
Also, I been irritated when people describe Meghan as such when she isn’t.
Meghan is about herself and herself only. She doesn’t care about anything else. Meghan is anti-black despite getting awards from NAACP that she didn’t deserve. This is reason why I never liked her. She clearly using racism to get support from African Americans but she doesn’t associate with them unless they’re wealthy and useful to her.
So I just want to tell you….Meghan isn’t woke…she’s the opposite of woke. She using the current climate to gain attention. She never experienced any type of racism. It's surprising how many people expect the wronged party to instantly forgive and criticize that party if forgiveness isn't granted.
This seems to be the standard thing with families. Also, some members are always held unaccountable for what they do. The family just waits until time passes and then expects all to resume as per usual
People don’t understand the facets of forgiveness. You forgive when the perpetrator demonstrates true acts of repentance. Otherwise , depending on your religious background , you leave the matter to a higher power. “Vengeance is mine,” is what God has declared ( the Christian Bible ). So the injured party moves on emotionally holding no grudges and gets on with his/her life. It is freeing. I hope the RF can do this. No family deserves the likes of Harry and Meghan.

Whilst up in Balmoral one year the queen wanted to go for a drive so off she drove in her Land rover with her bodyguard for protection. After walking for a while they both took a break and sat amongst the Heather. It was a bit chilly so the bodyguard gave her a coat and placed his flat cap on top of her head. With that, the Queen asked him to take a photo with her camera which he did. Weeks later, a parcel came for him and when he opened it he saw it was a photo of Her Majesty wearing his cap from that day they went for a walk. She told him that she thought he might like it as a reminder of a very pleasant afternoon. The photo is out there in the ether somewhere. 😁

Families are complicated and beneath the Monarchy is at its core a family. Most of us don't have our family issues displayed on a world stage where judgment is voiced on a world stage...the good, the bad, and the ugly. I do find fault with both H and MM, no matter if it is her influence (which I don't believe all of it is) for displaying dirty laundry in public. It's crass at the very least, damaging to everyone at the very worst, and ugly beyond belief!
So I'll share a little bit of a family story: I found out a family member was stealing from my parents (over $10,000)! It weighed heavy on me emotionally and yet, morally it came down to respect for my parents and all they had worked for that I told them what was happening. They confronted the person, negotiated a repayment plan, and that was that for them. The person caught in their scheme confronted me (knew I had been the one to expose them) and then didn't speak to me for 8 years! My parents advised me to be the bigger person and make things right with the thief, not that the thief should make things right with me.
I wrestled with the complicated issues involved for a number of years and while I understood the motivation behind the stealing of the money and family dynamics at play, was civil always when we saw each other, I did not apologize or take any other steps to "make things right" between us. I also refused to talk to any other family member about the rift and allowed the other person 's version to stand. Eventually, the truth was exposed and many conversations later, I haven't forgotten and have forgiven this person.
I cannot imagine a world where our family issues would be displayed in public! I can imagine the hurt and feelings of betrayal the Prince and Princess of Wale must feel! The dignity they both exude is a wonder to behold as is true for all the other members of the RF!

Interesting story and I’m glad everyone eventually realised who the real villain was in your family. It reminded me of my family when my parents were still alive and my mum was always urging me to make overtures to my troublesome older sister who was continually in an unwarranted sulk about something or other and constantly offended. I did it to please my mum, but at the end of our parents lives that all ended. My elder sister and her husband did some dodgy things regarding money, so my other sister and I did what we could to properly deal with the cash mum and dad had left in the house through a solicitor. We disregarded the money they had already dishonestly obtained and just filed that as yet another reason to severe the relationship. My elder sister told a different story to other family members and they thought we were the dodgy ones. Eventually they discovered the truth and they apologised to us. My other sister and I have since terminated any contact with our elder sister and will never see or talk with her again. It’s a blessed relief not to have her or her family in our lives creating bad feeling all the time. I don’t miss her one bit, in fact if it wasn’t for my mum I would have done it years ago. This is the reason I think the king is making a mistake keeping the door open to the Harkles. Sometimes you have to cut off a diseased branch for the health of the tree. Initially you try to treat the disease, but when it is too far gone you have to put the tree first. You certainly don’t forgive the branch and let it remain, slowly but surely destroying the tree. In my opinion the Harkles need to have their titles removed and never invited to another royal occasion.
The coronation family picture is to show that this is the last time Harry was a part of our lives! It also includes Harry’s wife to clearly highlight Charles is not vindictive and to highlight who came into the family to remove Harry from his family!
And yet,, despite this beautiful gesture,,, this woman is trying still to bring KC! Unfortunately,,, KC needs to strip his son of every title because neither H or M care about the nice loving gesture! Meghan will destroy Harry and the King and they are both allowing her to do her thing! It’s mind boggling!!

I remember our late Queen’s Coronation. It was 7 years after WW2 and was the first happy occasion since the war. At the time, people thought it was the beginning of a new Elizabethan era. Sweets came off ration for the occasion which pleased a lot of people. Us kids were not used to them so it wasn’t such a big deal. My dad was ecstatic! I had my first ice lolly - I remember it like it was yesterday. I had red lips from the colouring. Now we have a king who is in his seventies and the country is broke. Add to that the ‘health and safety’ culture and the king cannot stuff the Abbey to the rafters for his coronation. We live in different times. Technology has moved on so we can watch the show on colour TV instead of tiny black and white ones and people across the world can join in even if it is at an unsuitable time of the day. There’s also the option to record. Hopefully the day will progress peacefully. Many vested interests are preparing to demonstrate. Some are planning to throw rape alarms at the horses in the parade. If this happens, there could be many fatalities. Hopefully common sense will prevail. It’s sad that a minority is hell bent on spoiling the day for the majority but that’s life in this self obsessed society. God save the King.
Wish they would do something to help us with double the energy like it's winter here... everyone is struggling.

@@roselee4445 Yes, all military and police horses are nuisance trained. Many years ago, I used to ride Army horses and they are more reliable than civilian horses but rape alarms are a new low. I was reading an article in my newspaper yesterday by someone who recently served in the cavalry and he was most concerned about this new development and even said that there could be deaths of both riders and the public if horses ran out of control. Remember that horses are herd animals. Can you imagine what might happen if one of the carriages was attacked in this way? It doesn’t bear thinking about. Military horses are larger than most and you really wouldn’t want to be hit by one let alone be in a carriage when the horses bolted. I’m not being over dramatic here. I’m sure this is being taken very seriously. Should the worse happen and there are fatalities, the perpetrators should be charged with murder.

I appreciate that you brought up the scam of charitable giving. I learned that decades ago, too. These "non-profits" are a means of profit for the founders. VERY little goes to the people or causes they say they are helping. Look at RedCross, Goodwill, BLM......I don't give anymore. I use my money to help those I know or to build my family's financial future. No more willing participation in graft.
That's exactly what I do. My charity money goes to my family and charities that don't contact me except a small charity work update by post once a year.
If you donate check the charity's credentials & then pay it to them directly.
Same, I donate food, shampoo, soap, clothes and zero money, for that purpose. And I take it directly to the shelter and give it to one of the patrons and not the controller. That way I know the patrons know there are donations and they will share it. One man said to me I will get the controller, I said no, I’m giving YOU this stuff, you do with it what ever you want. I knew he would share
The Salvation Army helped after Hurricane Katrina more than any organization. The gave water cases, hurricane kits with great items in it. Red cross a big nothing. Goodwill gives nothing which is bizarre. Salvation army is the only one I give to. Also I support pet shelters.
Non -profit and profit almost similar function, not too much difference. Many people don't realize that. I never spend a dime on non or profit organizations. Give away of some things you won't use or give the dog foods, bowls, etc only way to keep them in line or use it for its charity. If give money, they divert it.

For me, the line of forgiveness starts and ends on whether the harm was intentional or not. People are bound to hurt you one way or another. Does it mean you never forgive and move on? But if the person intentionally hurt you (knowing what they were doing and the repercussions on you/your family), here is where the line ends for me. No going back. I erase this person from my life and move forward.

Occasionally I have seen people do something slightly rude and then feel sorry and throes people you can lay back in to your life but it’s wise stay wary for a bit until they prove themselves trustworthy again.

Great episode. I remember the royals in the 90s, and the whole Diana scandal was terrible for the Queen and the royals. She was publicly maligned for not showing up with the boys after Diana's death, and in hindsight, that was the right thing to do. Lest we forget her annus horribilis. She kept her head down, and we saw the public respect on her death. I am looking forward to the coronation, and hopefully, we can forget the harkles at last!

Yes I remember that too. The press and the public were scathing at the time. The way I saw it, was that her whole life Her Majesty put the country before her own family such was her promise to us. This one time she put her grandchildren first and the whole country was up in arms almost as if she was our property. She was not our property, she was a human being, a loving grandmother, and her grandchildren needed her as Charles went to Paris to bring their mother back. I always respected her for making that decision. In decades of putting her people first just for a few days in a long lifetime of service she put Harry and William first. I miss her and Philip so much.

I have been living thru this situation with my own Mom. Narcissist are like atomic bombs. Whoever is on her hit list watch out. I have done everything to make her happy and she has slandered me in every way imaginable. So many tears she shatters my heart. Now that door is closed. I am 60 she started

Forgiveness. It's not always so easy. I have siblings that I love and wish the very best, yet I have decided to cut them out of my life because my relationship with them is continually dysfunctional and cruel beyond repair. Quite biblical. Though a guy I forgave for something really bad was enough for him to follow Christ. His family immediately followed. Four generations of them.
Forgiveness also implies, "the past is gone, let's forget this incident and move on". What H&M have done can't be forgotten, their bad acts and lies remain as a warning to others!

I wish you would search for Queen Elizabeth’s speech in 2011 during her final visit to Australia. I remember hearing it live, and I could tell she knew she wouldn’t be making the trip down here again. The speech is almost a goodbye, it’s beautifully written and I got the feeling that she either wrote it herself or had a lot of personal input. I know she had more input with speeches as she got older, she was sincere and had a wonderful way with words, it’s a heartfelt speech to Australia .
You both have exceptional wisdom for people of your age. You are spot on about how dangerous family members can be. There is most definitely a limit, especially you are raising your own parents and you have a toxic narcissistic parent because they will stop at nothing to create conflict.
