After Game 3 of the 1996 WCF, Scotty Bowman stepped off of the team to yell at Claude Lemieux for sucker punching Slava Kozlov. Lemieux was with his wife and carrying their baby. That baby? Brendan Lemieux.
I really dislike how some sports personalities named Mike get the nickname "Iron". Ditka? Sure. Tyson? Definitely. Keenan? No. Just because he's an overrated asshole doesn't mean he equates to "Iron".
Sometimes, in all walks of life, revenge is not a dish best served cold. That was the case with Bertuzzi. While it's understandable if he wanted to take action when Moore didn't want to fight him, that was a bad, bad error in judgment on his part. And it cost Moore his career. Moore was no saint either to be fair but to lose his career as a result shows what can happen if you let your emotions get out of control. We like seeing payback, but we can forget when it has a bigger impact than you intend it to be.
It's a shame Moore didn't use his judgement when he cheap shotted Naslund's head with his elbow or the league issuing any kind of disciplinary response. Lots of failures to go around on this one.
I have to admit Bertuzzi was just showing what happens when Refs and the League ignore serious issues. Shoulda been a call and ban of games for Moores original hit. Then theres no "justice" needing to be equalised.
Many neglect the interview with Bertuzzi right after the incident, he was clearly upset and showed true remorse while apologizing to Steve Moore and his family. He immediately took responsibility for his actions. It is sad that Steve Moore chose to be a coward and continued to never take responsibility for what he had done.
@@joeonthego8247😂😂😂 you’re kidding, right? The piece of shit should’ve been banned from the NHL and thrown in prison, I don’t care what happened before he literally broke a man’s neck from behind while, jumping on his back, and then proceeded to punch him in the back of the head. Todd” big bitch” Bertuzzi is one of the biggest pieces of freaking shit that ever played in the NHL I don’t care how many times he apologize. That’s just as bad as saying, I killed someone but I’m sorry that’s the dumbest statement I’ve ever heard dude. cover for the asshole if you want but he is what he is a piece of shit
I would consider Nichushkin being kept out of playoffs due to non-injury reasons in back-to-back seasons a scandal for the Avs. Plus, both Varlamov and Patrick Roy were under investigation for domestic violence during their time minding the Avs net. So there's been some stuff I'd say.
You rock, we need to get you a beer mic 😂

Bob Probert's time in Detroit might've been worth mentioning, DUIs and getting busted for drug smuggling.
RIP Probie

In a future video can you do why claude giroux will be a hall of famer and why he won't?

I wonder if the Capitals segment will feature a limousine
i was looking for this comment
I thought for sure Oilers was gonna be Bowman.
Bowman and Quennville F should have been banned for life
Lindros and leclair wife anywhere?
Wasn’t Lindros and Brind’amour?
Now i know how Bowman weaseled his way back look at the geek who hired him.
What do you mean Colorado had no scandals? We had Lemieux and Kris Draper??? Are we just using that for other content?
I used it for the Detroit portion (it's in the video).
See Don Cherry's take on Naslund.
The day Colorado lost a franchise player.
Moore was going after Gretzky's records.
Oh yeah, totally okay to permanently injure someone if they’re not talented!
Moar please
