And here I am again watching reactions from a long time ago xddd
But now that I've watched the series a couple of times (and also now that I am an adult) i can see clearly that Sassy Saddles was in the right all along (at least for most of the episode), marketing is about trying to sell every one of your products to every person that you can, it makes sense that Sassy made more advertisement and was completely focused on the "Princess Dress" since it was the most popular (cuz Twilight wore it), and although it's true that she did trample over Rarity's authority over her own boutique... At the same time it is Rarity's own fault for ending feeling miserable simply because she wanted to make every single dress herself.
With bigger sales comes more improvement to your own equipment/gear and that means that Rarity could've easily hired more ponies to ease her burden on the job. And also.... Sassy's idea of an assembly line wasn't bad at all, the only bad part about it is that the writters wanted to make her seem overly insensitive and egotistical to the point of saying that Rarity didn't have to sewer ever again when in reality that would literally mean an stagnation in their business due to the Princess Dress being the only rentable product they would have instead continuously making new dresses.
But anyway.... Maybe I'm just overanalyzing all this xdddd.
