  • We took our fishing kayaks 3 miles offshore and caught some tasty fish! In this video I link up with fellow kayak angler ‪@YakinwithJack‬ to catch some giant offshore fish. There was no shortage of action on this trip with us landing multiple big reef fish. Saltwater kayak fishing offshore has never been better... enjoy the video!!

There's a lot of click bait out there, but you're the man for staying true to your titles. For offshore bait, cigar minnows, squid, or pogies.

Off of PCB generally use live bait 9 to 10 mi out but we also bring squid and squid always works perfect for snatching up beeliners when you find them and we use a chicken rig on that.

Did a lot of offshore out of St. Augustine, took my penn 6500 on 7’ ugly stick w/ sabiki rig, 5 gal bucket rope on handle, bubble pump, penn jig master on penn 7’ contender rod and a Penn 750ss on 8’ ugly stick. 4&6 z red/ white hair jigs for AJ’s, pin fish and squid for snaps and groupers, always cut the tails off the live pinn fish when free lining drives them crazy!

I have never fished offshore. I want to, but my pontoon is not saltwater ready. I just keep it in freshwater lakes and reservoirs. I use shrimp mostly when fishing saltwater. Second is finger mullet. Another great video, as always.
