I'm EXTREMELY Confident in the Winnipeg Jets

- The Winnipeg Jets were one of the best teams in the NHL this season, and are now matched up against the Colorado Avalanche in round 1. I think they could not only beat the Ads, but possibly win a Stanley Cup.

I BELIEVE, GO JETS GO! 🛩️🤍
Me too
Nothing unrealistic about the Jets winning it all this year. Go ✈️ Go!!!
@@badshah_BC dallas is a x10 better version of our team except for goaltending we're getting cooked by them sadly, avs will be easy though
@@andersoncaipe6113 “Av’s will be easy” it’ll be a sweep. Av’s don’t stand a chance. It’ll be 1-0 Jets two minutes into the game on the third shot. By shot number 10, for the Jets, it’ll be 3-0 and the Av’s will have pulled Georgiev. Same story as the last three games that the Jets manhandled the Av’s. The only question is: How ugly will it get? Will the Jets set a goals against NHL record for a series?
@@benhammer7782Listen I’m a jets fan, but I think you might be a bit over confident.
@@andersoncaipe6113 Times 10… ?
@@meagainandagain5756 simple reality. 4-2. 6-2. 7-0. Every game has been worse for the Avalanche. They’re a lazy, incompetent team that has made poor decisions all season long. They constantly lose to good, actual Cup contenders. They think that three super talented players can win games for them. I feel sorry for MacKinnon. He deserves a better team. Their good news is that their season will be over in four more games. Is that eight days?
During that 6 game losing skid I was honestly very much losing faith. But the way they turned it around on a dime and went into an 8 game winning streak with a very difficult schedule and ended on a very positive note changed my perspective. They are very healthy going into the playoffs. As we all know, psychology is a massive part of winning in the post season and the Jets are in a very positive place psychologically right now. Add to that the fact that we have the strongest goaltending duo in the league and you have a real contender.
Peaking at the RIGHT moment! its pissing me off how everyone forgets the 1st half of the season. and how we SHUTDOWN the top playoff teams in April.
hopefully not at the peak of their play yet! I hope they pick it up even more but I gotta hold my breathe because its the playoffs after all.
Imo this feels like our best chance of winning the cup
We got this!!!
If the top Jets stay healthy I think they can win the Cup this year. It’s one round at a time and it’s a tough grind but I think they’re ready. Go Jets Go!
I'm with ya...the feeling is different. Need to limit PP opportunities against the AVS and play our 5-5 like we know we can - Jets in 6
Winnipeg - Rangers final
The Jets shut down mcdavid and Draisaitl in a playoff series they can handle colorado GoJetsGo!!
I don't think we would be thinking the Jets would beat the Avs unless the goaltending of the Avs and how we performed against them in the regular season. They have more regular season offense and offense in general but I honestly think we have more overall player depth. We have two first lines! Connor Scheif and Vilardi and Ehlers Monahan and Toffoli for the second line that is a first line in skill. Our goaltending is the main part better than the Avs as our alternate goaltender LB is better than Georgiev. The Avs do have more offense but like I said we have more player depth. We have shutdown Mackinnon, Makar and Rantanen primarily all season. This is possible.
Jets all the way to final cup victory
Ouch... that didn't go well.... 4 loses in a row and a new goals against record set.
The jets will get CRUSHED the avs pp will dominate this series
Haha damn you called it!
Two years ago the Winnipeg Jets had their worst goals against season allowing 257 goals against. Last year the Jets improved to 225 goals against and made the playoffs. This year the Jets have their best goals against with only allowing 199 goals against in a NHL that has had a lot of increased goal scoring over the last few years. If we look back in history for our Winnipeg Jets, back in 2014-2015 the Jets only allowed 210 goals against, but lost to the Anaheim Ducks in the first round basically because the team did not have enough goal scorers (only scored 230 goals that year). In the great or best season of the 2.0 Winnipeg Jets the team allowed 218 goals but had great fire power scoring 277 goals, which resulted in one of the best playoff series between the Nashville Predators and the Winnipeg Jets, where the Jets down 3 goals in Game 3 of that series came back to win 7-4. The odds of winning a game down 3 goals half way through the 2nd period is only 7%. But with such great fire power we just overcame any problems in our game. This year Jets are a different beast. Two years ago, the biggest complaint was that the Jets were not tough enough in front of their net, and not tough enough in front of the opponents net. In years past we would score most of our goals by skating into the zone, making a pass and scoring (off the rush) - Looking at you Toronto Maple Leafs - now we are far better as getting the puck deep, winning puck battles, and cycling the puck down low then scoring off of making passes from behind the net, or puck scrambles. More importantly, we got players that are willing to be in front of the net or battle in the crease area in the offensive zone. However, we still have players that can score off the rush if the opportunity presents itself. Finally, this forward group is essentially a copy of what made the Vegas Golden Knights so good last year, which is not a surprise. GM's often try to copy what the previous Stanley Cup champions did the previous year. The series will boil down to the psychology for both teams, as skill wise it washes out except in goal and the edge to the Jets in the bottom six compared to the Avs. Actually Makar does have an edge over Morrissey. Luck still plays a big factor, but overall teams that have good playoffs runs are usually teams that are 1st or 2nd in the division. And this is the second time the Winnipeg Jets have gotten 2nd place in the division and there is a few players on our team that did not like what happen last year in the playoffs. Lets call that Motivation. Why are the Jets so good this year, check out the video by Hockey Psychology at ua-cam.com/video/j0vkOyFmRDQ/v-deo.html
I BELIEVE JETS CAN TAKE ER!! Do it for Halford Spencer Gold BOYZ
Let’s get this Whiteout going boys !!!
There are so many people throwing smoke at the Jets right now
I think the second round will be very tough for jets against Vegas or Dallas but I think we got Colorado and will make it to the cup if we win the 2nd series
This gonna be one of the videos I look back from a week from now and cry lmao
Shhhhh
Hope not but its nice having no expectations because of how streaky they are
I think we can go deep this year
Jets jersey in white and grey camo and a brown and green camo, Jets and Army go together haha so have the camo jerseys
Just got to play game by game
i believe 💆🏼♂️
I had the Jets winning the central from the beginning of the year and they almost did. They fleeced the Kings and I didn't understand how people kept saying the kings won that trade. As a Knights fan im picking my team but if the Knights dont go out of the west i got the Jets
Couldn’t agree more. Jets in 5 and I’m not afraid to say it because I believe it.
Avs in 5 now 😢
Halford Spencer Gouldhawke aka Gould aka Gold
17/18 is a great example of why they need to change the playoff format to be 1v8 instead of 1v4. If Winnipeg hadn't been beaten up by Nashville that year, while Vegas cruised to the Western final against the worst teams in the playoffs, I don't think they best Winnipeg in 5... Not saying Wpg could've beaten Ovi that year, but they would've had a chance.
gotta be playing consistently and not going on losing streaks like in the season
I have an Edm/Wpg western conference F and a Fla/Car eastern conference F and a Wpg/Fla SC F for my playoff bracket. Just for fun should this happen who gets home ice in that SC F?
If it was a WPG/FLA SCF. Jets would have home ice. Both teams finished with 110 points but Winnipeg has the tie breaker with 46 Regulation wins to 42
Well....
Lol
Red River Manitoba
Just wish the Jets had an easier path to the conference final. Avs then likely Stars. Woof. What do you have left in the tank after you survive those rounds, compared with the Oilers or Canucks?
The only way I see the Jets losing to the avs is if we go into another slump like the 6 game losing streak, in which case we might aswell play the sharks and lose in four. Or if MacKinnon and rantanen go beyond crazy and carry them to a 3-4 series win. Otherwise Jets in 6 sounds reasonable.
🥛
Aged bad……
If vegas come out of first round, i don't see anyone beating them, including the jets
Aged like fine milk. Not rly their fault tho. Ran into a fully functional battle station in the avs. Avs feel like 2022 avs rn.
The jets will be better next year than they are this year. I don't like them against Dallas or whoever wins the east this year though
Drouin out of the first round due to lower body injury.
How does that comment merit a thumbs up? You never cheer for another team’s player being injured. You want to play the best of the best. That way the victory is that much sweeter.
Because there is an advantage with him not playing regardless if there is an injury or not
I was just telling the latest news. Now, I get the mantra, if you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. We have an injured player, Barron, out, and now do the Avs and how that will change the odds.
@@sykesknife4496 but barren and drouin are different drouin was on our top line
@@kalebmcdaniel9147 we can’t chirp each other about injuries is important
Oh boy. Surprised you didn't delete this video right away and saved yourself the embarrassment. So many bad takes, and they could've been forgiven (plus nothing wrong with believing in one's team) but the sheer arrogance ("send them packing early") is what makes any shade thrown your way rightfully deserved.
"Avalanche's poor goaltending", yet they weren't the ones who made playoff history in goals allowed. Saying they were top heavy and ended up getting killed by everyone top to bottom (Nichuskin, Lehkonen, Mittelstadt, Colton, Manson, Parise) not just the Avs big 3. Just imagine if Drouin was healthy, let alone not even having their captain Landeskog. Everyone was making a big deal about Jets being the league's best defensive team, while completely overlooking that Avs were the league's best offense.
I'd agree about Dallas. If the jets get thru Colorado and Dallas, they're the best team in the playoffs
This video didn’t age well.
Jets leafs Stanley cup final.

where's buff ?
You called this organization the biggest frauds and embarrassment to the nhl. Please get off you bandwagon
