@@EmeraldRubyTea I usually tell people in this order. Open the door. Push oven knob in and let it come back out 1/2 way then turn to 500. Once it stops clicking then dial to desired set temp. Close door.
Thank you for the video. So to confirm, that very, very loud fan stays on the entire time when the oven is on? So when you are using the oven, you just deal with very loud noise the entire time and cannot relax while cooking and using the oven in the kitchen? Plus, no timer built in. No indication of when the oven reaches temperature? Waiting 15 minutes as suggested in some comments seems like a tremendous waste of gas. I did not choose this stove / oven, it came with the house I am renting.
I, too, am late to this party....what can you tell me about "seasoning" the cast iron grates? Is this a practical thing to do or what do you recommend for having a beautifully clean stove top?
There is no indication to preheating or when its done preheating on most models. Turn the unit on then set to temp and wait 15-17min and you should be right at temp. No bell, whistle or light indicator when its done.
@@stevenvachon9745 the temp gauge is not a reliable indicator of temperature. I know this because I service them. The latest version of this oven no longer has numbers on the gauge. An in oven thermometer would be the best. Most stores. Have for less than 10 dollars.
Scotty, after nearly a year I still haven’t fully figured out the oven control on my PROF304DFSXT 30 Inch Freestanding Professional Dual Fuel Range with 4 Sealed Burners. It has some Italian logic I am sure. Can you point me to a resource where I can get help understanding how to set the timer, etc? Thank you.
I have the Bertazzoni oven, but the oven door will not stay open when I'm trying to put something in the oven? I have to have someone hold down the door while I put my dish in the oven. How can I fix this?
4:30 -- I don't see any flame in the portholes, but it IS warm and working. Am I the only one having trouble seeing them? I feel like the angles of the portholes aren't conducive to visually seeing them
I loved this video! I learned a great deal about the use of the range and oven. The only thing I can't figure out is if it is self cleaning??? How do I find that out?
Hello I would like to know how to use the oven . The model I have is MAS905GGVLXE . Can you let me know how to use the oven and how to light it etc etc
Best thing to remember this is not an American product like GE or Kitchen aide. The Bertazzoni does take a few calls to tech support to learn how to use.
We bought the inexpensive stove thermometer that hangs on a rack to check initial temps,, we also have Thermo-Works digital thermometer that has several different probes including one that reports the air temp,
on the old models they come on when the oven knob is turned. The new one is temperature based and auto on/off. They do create some noise. They also blow air out of the front.
Just moved in my new house has a bertazzoni Range in the oven runs too high Call the factory they told me they would call but never bother calling so I guess I'm stuck with a pc of junk from Italy
I have a question regarding the bread stone. I have read conflicting opinions whether you can or should not leave the bread stone in the oven when using the convection feature. Do you have any advice?
I know I'm a little late to the party. I service this brand and you can leave the stone in depending on what you're cooking have been told many times by tech support that it will help with heating as well as shielding the food from the direct heat from the burner below.
It’s hit and miss when it comes to starting the oven for me. Does anyone else find there seems to be different ways to start the oven? My first cake I couldn’t reach the right temperature when starting to bake it. I also over baked it in the end. Early on my fiancé and I would get into long discussions on how to operate this over. I have had many different types of ovens in the past including gas electric. This one is taking some practice to figure out.
It may sound very stupid but I've just bought a PRO304GASX model and I can't figure out how to open the storage compartment. What is the trick? Thanks.
Just got my Bertazzoni and I was having an awful time with the oven, this video saved the day! Thank you!
Cathy Aquilina we have one at work. I came here to learn how to turn the oven on...🤪

This video is a God-send. My installer was lost and I was getting very intimidated by my beautiful new stove.
OMG, thanks so much. I finally know how to use this oven for the first time! I got it for almost 10 years.
Kenny Rogers sure has come a long way
thank you for providing the quick tutorial....it was extremely helpful.

just go back to the star flame with a center flame that has the tried and true history. works for small to large pot and all cooking utilities
Is there a broiler function? If so, where???
I have this oven and it takes more than 45mn to reach 450F and I can't reach 500F. is there a problem or is it just that it doesn't heat much..
Can you please tell me how you know when the oven has fully preheated to the set temperature?
There is no indication to preheating or when its done preheating on most models. Turn the unit on then set to temp and wait 15-17min and you should be right at temp. No bell, whistle or light indicator when its done.
Thankfully all the new models have a temperature gauge. Even better than a light going on.

How do I know the oven is done preheating at the selected temperature?
There is an indicator light that is yellow/orange when it's in preheat mode and will turn off when it's ready
I can’t get the oven on😩😩😩😩
How do you broil on this unit?
Thank you...couldn’t figure out what was going on with the oven
What size turkey will fit in that oven? The one I'm getting doesn't have any stainless backing, where do I get that piece?

the overn has no timer

If it is gas only, then no self cleaning function.
Who has cleaned their non-self cleaning oven? Tips on what to use, etc, please.
Soap and water. Degreaser 409, Easy off on the glass.
Love this- but sound is too low! 🙁
Love this
What is the small door below the oven for?
How do I remove the oven doors? I have an older 48” yellow oven with a production date of 2508 whatever that means….
How do you lower the flame on the burners? Even the simmer burner seems to be too high.
Yessir I can cook my pizza now thank u!

Is it normal for the spark ignitor on the power burner on the stove top to turn on when trying to ignite the oven?
Yes all igniters spark when trying to light any of the burners. All are on the same circuit.
Silly question: How do you know when the oven is at it's desired temperature? There seems to be no obvious indication.
When calling Bertazzoni Customer Service they will tell you to allow 20 minutes to preheat, the owner's manual states 15minutes to preheat.

@@tld166 I dont know any brand specifically. I would say look at Bed bath & B or Amazon.

Theres 2 knobs that control the dual burner. The newer ovens only have 1 knob to control both inner and outter.

Correct. PRO (Professional) series don't have storage access below the oven. Only the MAS (Master) series have this storage

stop by to say worst oven ever thought u turn it on preheat come back 25 min then boom nothing all that fancy shit for no reason

How do I know when the oven is fully pre-heated?
I learned there is no way to know it's totally preheated. Set a 20 min timer when you turn it on and it should be totally preheated by then.
