This was for me. My husband completely checked out of our marriage a year ago. It started in 2020 with all the political stuff and some racist things said behind our pulpit at church, then his mom passed away last year and that sealed the deal. He cheated in the fall of last year. Since then I have been trying with everything in me to hold on to us, because I know at the heart of it all, he is just broken on the inside and frankly, he's mad at God. God gave me a Word that He would give me victory over this situation a few months back, but lately I've been wondering if His idea of victory and mine looked different. I've been at the point of throwing in the towel. I needed to hear this today and this specific time. Thank you for being obedient and always preaching from the Word.
Now in our house on our Fridge we wrote, "If you Don't have praise coming out of your mouth, shut up" - ( Pastor Robert)
Thank you Pastor. I will be using "SILENCE CAN'T BE MISQUOTED" as my go-to from here on out. Whenever I feel heated and/or feel the urge to retort with a quip that could be hurtful, I will say "nah- let it go".

Most of time...the ones that be telling you to shut up. Are the ones listening way too hard. My conversation is for me and the person I talk to and not the world. Only nosy people be like....they talk to much and nosy people be listening to much. I get it tho....Robert. "Shut up"... shutup because your conversation ain't for everyone, or you talk to much, or you know to much, or I don't wanna hear it. Not to mention the ones who do wrong and don't wanna hear what you have to say. Yeah, shutup is a don't tell all my business factor. Shutup...if God bless you to much. I wonder how they keep finding their way up in there tho!!!.....lol Good sermon but I'm gonna keep talking a bit. The gift of gab....conversation rules the nation. Silence, is maybe wisdom when you can help a person live. Yes there is a time to be quiet and a time to speak out. I personally think its rude to invite your self into conversation and lives and voice you opinion and than have the audacity to say "Shutup" without a given invitation. Although, I get where the speaker is coming from and well....( someone proably thinking now..."SHUTUP") Honestly, you can stop reading right here! I think nosy people should learn the difference. Hopefully, first by minding their own business and understanding that every conversation, every text, and everything happening in another person life, is not their business. Its called being mature emotionally. Stop the gossip and grown up. Its OK to talk, as long as you are not hurting anyone. Coming from a spiritual aspect....SHUTUP when God is telling you what to do...on your assignment or getting ready to bring the Jericho's walls down. Use the mouth to build....talk talk talk-positivity.......(tearing down) silence.
"Anyone can shout on Day 1. I want to know: Can you shut up and walk for '6 days', with no sign of movement in the wall?"

Wow! As Pastor Madu was preaching about how the battle at Jericho made no sense, not even biblically I recalled the most touching verse I kept on my heart and in my head. I read Joshua 6:26 which says:
26At that time Joshua pronounced this solemn oath: “Cursed before the Lord is the one who undertakes to rebuild this city, Jericho:
“At the cost of his firstborn son
he will lay its foundations;
at the cost of his youngest
he will set up its gates.”
The revelation I recieved was this verse is what made this FIRST battle-(or fruits) God's. God is soo beautiful and perfect! I love Him so much

I'm a mom of a 1 yr old boy and currently pregnant 7 months already. Life's been so hard to me these days tht I couldn't help but to think of giving up and just running away. I needed this word! I used to think it was a daily battle to muster up enough faith to believe God’s promise of victory for me but wow 12:38!!! What a wonderful reminder that God goes before me! He’s preparing me!! I pray for others also struggling with a false sense of humility which keeps us from possessing that which has been given to us and that we learn to shut up when we’re facing obstacles unless we’re praising Him!
