Look if you're going to end up with your car submerged in water it's going to cost you some money so just look out the window if your street is flooding with water stay home, or if you at work just stay longer I don't know what to tell you but don't drive in that weather it's going to cost you more than it would have if you go out

For the person(s) saying the city needs to just clear the drains, take your outside hose, turn it on 50% and put it in your kitchen sink tell me if it still overflows after a while, I'll wait....
Dumb dumbs don't understand that it doesn't matter if the drains are clean or not, the system itself cannot handle that much volume of water in such a short period of time. The fact that so much water has receded already is indicative that the drains are clean. Im not saying there are some spots where drains do need to be clean, but the vast majority if the system is clean.
I've notice alot of drain systems clogged w/ litter and debris!!😮😮😮😮😮 witch causes problems although we are in the new malinum of CLIMATE CHANGE!!!! and unfortunately it's not NOT going to get better!!!😮😮😮💀💀💀😲💀😲💀😲💀

Local government must clean drainage system before this time of the year comes. In some cases the absent of drainage is absolutely unbelievable. Hope local government takes notes!

Climate crisis resilience needs to include elevated evacuation routes (& include occasional islands for gas stations, ideally with helipads for emergency medical evacs)!
Re Flood severity "deniers":
The depth varies with location ... PLUS there's more to come: more rains, saturated root balls of trees that will fall, black mold in drywall, rising insurance rates, displaced wildlife (incl reptiles in flood water), health consequences for people that 1st responders can't help in time &/or whose necessary medical devices require electricity to run, Etc., Etc..
This reporter is so condescending. Rain had been falling all day. It did not begin at commute time. I believe bosses should had dismiss workers early that day to prevent a lot of people being stuck on the roads. The rains and floods aren’t anything new. You would think experience would had taught better so that wisdom could be applied here.
