Man who naps with cats raises thousands for a pet sanctuary

At a pet sanctuary in Wisconsin, Terry Lauerman takes naps with the cats. Once photos of his catnaps went viral, he helped the sanctuary raise money for the animals. Steve Hartman shares his story on the road.

A man who likes cats is secure in his manhood, can come home from a long stressful day at work, and be soothed by a purr and relatively undemanding friend who gives loves saying thanks and maybe a massage/accupuncture treatment for the company.
I get why that nice man falls asleep, kitties are better than any sleeping pill.

This kind man gives those cats comfort that rivals a pet or a brush - it takes something special for cats to feel relaxed and sleep cuddled up with a friend. That some of these kitties are special needs makes my heart full (and my eyes tear up) at the thought of this rescue taking the time to help them. Thanks for all you do.

There needs to be a coop of elder care and rescues. It doesn't take much to help animals. Sometimes just a human presence lol Id help that in a min.

Socializing is so important for prospective rescue animals. Terry is doing amazing work socializing the cats and I bet being around sweet sleepy cats is soothing and relaxing for him. It’s a win-win.
