- The Canon R8 is a nice option for vlogging. I like the small size form factor and light weight. This is my current vlog set up for the Canon R8 I will use the next time I need a travel camera.

I really enjoy the (headless) talking head content. Keep it up, I like listening to people talk about cameras and photography since I don't have many friends into the hobby.

I also record a lot of my content on gopro and thinking about buying R8 to step up youtube game.
However gopro + Iphone + dji mic is doing pretty good in my case so far

I think most Americans would say my accent is pretty neutral except for a few phrases that sound like I'm from the South...which I am.

@@babybackmaniacleftovers haha! I would need to have more trips to USA in order to better recognise accents. On the south I only had a chance to visit Miami and key west

R8 should be a great camera. Looking forward to try. However I got to the point when the content itself is the key and you could record good looking content even with crap camera. For example this video I recorded with GoPro 2 (oh that's dinosaur, I know) but it is still one of my favorite! ua-cam.com/video/zepPGHYywvY/v-deo.html

That is the type of content where a GoPro is preferable to a big camera. You just can't get those types of shots at a park all day...and even if you could you'd get tired of holding the camera.
