Pouring coffee lol. I worked there throughout college as a shift manager, and trained at least a dozen people. It's hard work. During peak hours, you're making hundreds of drinks at a ridiculous pace. It would have been nice to just pour drip coffee all day. You get a Grande Blonde Caramel Macchiato upside down with light drizzle. Then you get a venti caramel ribbon crunch with breve and two affagato shots. Then a grande hazle shaken espresso with whole milk, quad. shot, vanilla sweet cold foam light ice. Sequence these 3 drinks in the way you were trained. Steam milk, run to blender, fill to third line, run back pour milk, queue shots, go back to blender etc.. Restock items... and then do this for hours at a pace in which you're just trying to survive for hours. The labor hours that store managers get are ridiculous. Have you ever worked a labor job? I think we got paid enough and the benefits are excellent, but the labor hours can be ridiculous, and it will drain anybody. My nice cushy hybrid corporate job is easier in a lot of ways. You're out of touch.

Starbucks came into the town i live in and was shut down in the same year it was opened from a lack of a customer base, so yes boycottting will work but it takes way more than just a few people. I only bought Starbucks when i went to the bookstore to wander around...then I'd have to listen to the pretentious, breathy ,slow mumble music...you know with the slow guitar stuff they play. And i felt too liberal . So, that was the end to that.

Starbucks came into the town i live in and was shut down in the same year it was opened from a lack of a customer base, so yes boycottting will work but it takes way more than just a few people.
I think the big difference here is that we're rural and we never had any of these name brand coffee shops or anything to begin with so everyone already went to local owned coffee shops and they weren't going to swap out $5 coffee thats actually good for $10 coffee that a five year old could make better at home 🤷😂
starbucks is a job for kids to help pay for gas and their cell phone not a job for adults to pay for a mortgage...

You have hot to be kidding!!! Seroiusly!! I saw an add on indeed, Starbucks hiring at f-ing $18.00 an hour .....last year! I tried a cup of coffee there to see what all the hype was...so not worth the $7.00 I paid years ago. I'm sure now will be double. Ridiculous, it's coffee. I agree with others on these comments. Make it at home and take it with out if your so inclined to drink it in route to where ever your going. If employees feel they should be making more. Get a real job! Sorry, this is just riduclas!
