Had a MSc from same UNIBEN and I have since settled in Benin city. Hence, i have stayed in Benin city for more than 19 years and still based in Benin city. I have interacted with both Bini's and Igbo's in Benin city all these years. I can tell you that the Igbo's and Bini's are living in harmony in Benin city. My best friend Osas is a Benin man and we get along very very well. I don't see reasons why some unscrupulous elements will want to instigate trouble in Benin city. Igbo's in Benin have a deep respect for the Oba of Benin and I don't think any sensible Igbo man living in Benin city will stoop so low to propagate such dastardly act against the revered Oba of Benin. As an Igbo man from Anambra state, I have been staying in Benin since 2005 when I got admitted into UNIBEN. I returned back to Benin City after my youth service in Ogun State in 2010. Had a MSc from same UNIBEN and I have since settled in Benin city. Hence, i have stayed in Benin city for more than 19 years and still based in Benin city. I have interacted with both Bini's and Igbo's in Benin city all these years. I can tell you that the Igbo's and Bini's are living in harmony in Benin city. My best friend Osas is a Benin man and we get along very very well. I don't see reasons why some unscrupulous elements will want to instigate trouble in Benin city. Igbo's in Benin have a deep respect for the Oba of Benin and I don't think any sensible Igbo man living in Benin city will stoop so low to propagate such dastardly act against the revered Oba of Benin. Let there be peace.

Secondly, it may interest you to know that those people in Edo state often rain abuses on other traditional rulers in the country.
