    I'm pretty sure the space in the lacing is for flex in that spot. With the wider gap it provides a natural pivot point for your ankle forward I believe.

      heads up the cuff bolts come out pretty easy on the white 909s and it maybe the same for the those. would consider applying loctite to them.

    • @khanjisantos

      I am new to this culture, what exactly did you mean by oysi frames and the MMs inside and out? I am really really interesting in skating. I’d appreciate it if you can take your time to explain to me 😊

    • @helgevig5134
      @helgevig5134 8 місяців тому

      @@khanjisantosoysi is a frame brand that makes flat setup frames where the two axle holes in the middle sit a tiny bit lower than the ones on the ends of the frame.
      That means you are supposed to run smaller wheels in the middle and larger on the ends, in order to have a flat setup.
      The guy above said he was using 60 mm (millimeters) sized wheels in the middle, and 68 mm on the ends of the frame (or outside, as he put it).

    When you say not noisy, are they not squeaky? I'm not sure if 908 or 909 but times I've seen people skating Thems they often seem to creak like boards in the floor of an old house (plastic on plastic, so I assume it's a cuff thing probably?).

      @81Garret 3 роки тому

      Ricardo rarely reviews a skate the way it actually comes. Unfortunately you'd have to go elsewhere it drives me batty that he doesn't feel the need to review how a skate comes often enough.

    • @Defoone
      @Defoone 3 роки тому

      @@81Garret I agree. Speaking about the stock skate and then the way it feels different in the setup you make from it can be a game changer for someone.
      Also, not Ricardo’s case, but I hate when UA-camrs make wheels review grinding a ledge. Skate them some distance, make slides, test them on shitty grounds, that way you’ll see how much a wheel last and perform. Skating straight to grind a ledge only show you can grind in my opinion.
