Beautiful song....Jeffrey did write this, as he is mainly a songwriter & only recently took up singing.....he also wrote a song called "WHY NOT?" from their 2019 Dive Bar Saints album, and if you haven't seen or reacted to it, consider this a request :) Pretty please itsanother video with a GREAT message & story. I loved this video concept...an apartment through a few decades and all it's "PEOPLE"...really amazing but we don't expect anything ;ess from Home Free...also go to Jeffrey's channel and check out his music
As far as I can tell, Jeffrey played this song he'd written to the guys, and they loved it so much they wanted to make sure we got to hear it. They featured it in their Christmas special, and then got Jimmy Bates to come up with another wonderful video concept.
He's such a great song-writer - he also co-wrote If I Met You Now with Austin. If you look back on his channel, there's a song called Retro that he wrote that he recorded the video for when he was opening for Home Free in Europe in 2018, which is how they met. As a Home Fry, I found it a lot of fun.
I loved this collaboration with Jeffrey. So good. HF’s ability to make music videos that tell stories and enhance the lyrics is so amazing. Haven’t found a HF song/video that I haven’t liked.
This was so good. We’re just people working hard to put food on the table. Jeffrey’s a good songwriter. Love the song and the lyrics. He’s written songs for Home Free and Rascal Flatts and others. He wrote Why Not for them on their Dive Bar Saints album. Yes, this video is sweet and brings tears. Good reaction!
