I'm a 65 yr old black American women. Adopted, loved and raised by black southern parents. Fortunate 2 B raised in racially diverse area. Grew up with Lots of aunts, uncles and cousins who didn't differentiate my legal status. You Are INSULTING to me N Thousands of adopted families! You have unfortunately been around ignorant people, who by the way, come from most races, Not just black! Surround yourself with people who have the desire to be an Asset to their race, and you won't have the desire to bash your own mother, father race. For whatever reason, you were not raised by a biological family. I'm proud that both of us were raised N loved by a true family, human race. But don't you ever again spout such Hatred for those who gave you life! We have been Blessed! Share that Blessing story and Be a Blessing to others!
I have always wanted to adopt a child from Africa, not being able to gave a child of my own to love, I wanted to share my love with a child that wants to be lived as well...how do I go about doing so?
D Parker tour any country in Africa, you'll have that chance to adopt one... am an African but I can admit that Africans are careless we have many children are abandoned each day....more about it you can link up in my Facebook account am Esther Oyaro
A beautiful and life-changing story indeed! So glad, with the Lord's assistance obviously, that you were able to circumvent the East African governments desire to block foreigners adopting East African children. Possibly because you had worked at the orphanage in Moshi for more than two years and had thus known Moses for more than the two year period which must be straddled in order to adopt? May our dearest loving Lord continue to bless you and your family abundantly:)
Thanks for checking out the video and hearing our story. Many East African countries have specific laws that we agree with which helps protect children and vulnerable families. We are grateful that we fit the profile of internationals that are eligible to adopt. Given the nature of our work in alternative care, we are very familiar with the Tanzanian Law of the Child Act, 2009. Since we've lived here with legal residency since 2010 there was no issue whatsoever because we are long term residents. In fact, this adoption isn't an international adoption, it is a domestic adoption. People must live here legally for three years before being able to adopt. Considering we also had a long term relationship with Moses, the court saw fit that we would be the right parents for him. These issues are so important and I appreciate you bringing them up. We really want to see the laws encourage kids in families and protecting vulnerable children and families.
Omg is that's mosses I feel so happy watching that video omg can his parents now give him a kiss for us .can you let him know that somebody out here love him
Is it me or are all of those adopted children look alike those couple who adopt them. For example in this video..this boy look alike the man...but the way he smile look like the woman.
No hate here. But I’ve always wondered why black people never adopt white babys? Come to think of it I don’t think I’ve ever seen a black family adopt!!!!
I'm a black woman and I was adopted by a white couple and honestly I despise the way the black community looks at adoption. I have been told by other black people that "ya they adopted you but you're not their kid and they are not your parents." it's absolutely rediculous. Black people will never admit it but they are very very racist and they cannot get over themselves enough to think about even their own children let alone an" orphan" and adoption is generally expensive and let's face it they're gonna use that money for a weave or Michael Kors purse not another kid that they can't put the baby daddy on child support for sad
pmfRyuu Thank you very much for your honesty and candidness. I’ve asked that question before and never got an answer. I’m sure more people feel like yourself but dare not say anything.
Itsme 23 no problem I was adopted from Haiti and honestly I THANK GOD I was raised by white parents because the level of class and virtues they instilled in me has taken me farther than anything
MissEmily It is a different Moses and a different country. Don’t accuse people of lying in such serious situations without taking the time to look at basic facts.
