Hi Ana, interesting question. Once you complete your internship here you obtain your general registration. So. Yes. After that. Its possible to then go and work in other countries like the United Kingdom for a short period. In my experience its more common for Australian doctors to take a year off after their PGY2 year.

@@AnaBvd not really sure what you are getting at. There's no formal requirements in Australia for what you do in the years post internship and prior to entering specialty training, ie. you are not in a training program here.
