AMEN. Realising I couldn't do the "God of ultra-violence" ending with the girl and dog was a level of disappointment and sadness I struggle to convey :( Just coming in, kicking ass, adopting a child and dog (perhaps saving a 4th person too) and leaving with a newfound goal of purging demented shit from the face of the earth. The most gigachad and sweet ending I can think of.
@@frapollo94even better when you have this outcome of (*spoilers*) combination of both ending E and A! He has a daughter, best doggo, together as a hunter family to kick some monster's asses and their descendants follow their steps. How come there is this gentleman, August with Moonless, right?
Even if Ending A is kind of a downer, I think it's my favorite. It's a little lame that your party is just "oops dead" but even then it's a fitting conclusion
Really weird that some options lock you out of dash without telling you. I know the dark priest can’t dash if he takes pyromancy trick. I think the knight needs to abandon her family too.
i can totally buy Raggy sparing Not Griffith. You're their for vengeance for your tribe and family and here he is, tortured, broken, seemingly without his memories. it'd be woefully unsatisfying from a warrior code standpoint.
@@frapollo94 dont think so. Rag is in the thicket even after the 3o minute mark, and when you talk to him he says he is still looking. He also becomes infected there. And when you play Rag, if you choose to kill Legarde, you dont slice his throat, but snap his neck. He is also not hanged by the hand with chains. Somebody else is responsible for his death if you are late.
Depends on the players headcanon of Rag, imo. He's quite an unga bunga character but I feel like a proper revenge would have him take Not Griffith home. Then have him work the land and tend to the graves of those he slaughtered, as a slave, until he dies of old age.
You know what I think Ragnvaldr should of done? IF you come late and see Legarde tortured and killed, then Ragnvaldr becomes angry someone took away the glory from him and he seeks out who did that to him. He would even challenge cosmic horrors for that.
Lemme tell you about a little backstage thing... I didn't want to sacrifice Cahara! I thought I could put there the Nas'hrah husk that I created and so I mashed enter to continue the dialogue! And I...accidentally...condamned a man to suffer unimaginable pain...
I watched a video theorizing ending A being Cahara’s true fate while the other characters go on to achieve their S endings respectfully but I’d like to think each character achieved their S ending while the Girl managed to make it down to the alter of darkness without the intervention of the others. Still a great story regardless
Yea it's not implied, at least in the first game, which character does which ending (still didn't play Termina) but I like to believe all except for Ragnvaldr got their S ending and Ragn brought the girl there!
Spoilers: In termina only the S ending for Enki is confirmed. D'arce ending is impossible as Le'garde becomes the King in Yellow (Nas'hrah pretty much confirmes it when you play as O'saa), Ragnvaldr was alive and had moonless with him (who has become a family pet) and Cahara's fate is pretty much unknown, so either him or D'arce were the ones who get the girl to ascend. Or maybe one got the girl and the other fought Gro-Goroth with Nas'hrah, since he got burned during that fight.
@@iamnottheplayer6445 countering spoilers isn't D'arce's S ending soft confirmed? When you kill Kaiser, he deforms into a pile of goop, rather than leave a corpse, which could make sense if it was the revived Le'garde from D'arce's S ending. It's also possible that Nas'hrah could go down into the bottom on his own anyways due to being pretty much immortal, leaving Cahara to take the girl
@@thechosenfundead6626 I mean, in the end its up to interpretation, but it just seems out of characters for me since Le'garde in D'arce ending pretty much ended up as a mindless ghoul and the king in yellow acts much more as the original ascended Le'garde.

Possible spoilers @Frapollo9f, what a fantastic roleplay. Well thought. its three endings that have to happen for termina to occur as it did. cahara ending A, darce ending s and enki ending s. My headcannon is that cahara gets the girl to the god of the depths corpse while fleeing crowmauler after an initial arrest by the guards. Enki meets nosramus and nash ra and from the collective lessons of those two and his own journey plus the soul anchor goes on to write the skin bibles. Darce Ending S is absolutely unquestionable. First off it fits Darce's obsession and secondly it sets up legarde to become kaiser as a new god OUTSIDE the cycle of new gods set by the old gods. this is why instead of going to the great hall after the time loop, he persists to attempt to create Logic, the reason rot works on him is obvious given darce ending s, and the presence of a single asterisk( summoned by the king in yellow in the og boss fight) shows he attained a form of new godhood despite not using the throne or being trapped in the cycle. to summarize enki S - non-negotiable due to the skin bibles existing. They could not have been written by new god enki, only mortal enki. darce S - non -negotiable due to legardes existence outside of the great hall as a new god. cahara A - totally negotiable, however I think it was cahara and not ragn due to augusts's desire to assassinate kaiser, and the arrows he uses are supposed to be recognizable by kaiser, as if they were the arrows used by a land he conquered long ago, this is also reminiscent of a scene where ragn ambushes you before the thicket in OG FH, so I think August is continuing Ragn grudge. this also accounts for nas ra getting burned against gro goroth. this is my take. p.s also when the god of the depths mouth opens, that might signal its actual physical death, which is what legarde and nilvan needed probably to have their child usurp its power. I am guessing that the recency and close vicinity of an actual old god's death and corpse is what enabled the god of fear and hunger's birth, as well as her upbringing, continually exposed to those energies. I am most curious as to how exactly that ascension was enabled.
I had to skip some parts of this essay, as they contain spoilers for termina, but still the explanation about the death of god of the depths being the signal that allows the birth of GOFH is really interesting! Thank you so much for your effort!
