I liked Later with Bob Costas. On a radio show I used to listen to the co-host was an Indians fan (not Guardians then). The host played the last pitch of the '97 World Series so much I can quote Costas: A liner, off Nagy's glove. Into center field. The Florida Marlins have won the World Series. I didn't have a problem with Bob Costas. He loves baseball and got to meet and interview his hero Mickey Mantle.
@richstrobel I didn't mind him as a person god bless him good man but his stories were awful and his commentary got worse each season and it felt soon it was gonna be time for him to hang it up
I haven't seen the full video but i already know what it was? I'm sure there's a Cleveland fan that feels the same heartbreak from one of the Yankees' highlights
As a Dodger fan Reggie Jackson broke mine. The Orioles should have re-signed him. But then there wouldn't have been one of the greatest performances in a World Series game.
Did anyone else notice Davis said "the heating up Judge" just before Judge dropped the flyball? It wasn't just "the curse of Fat Joe." It's the curse of Joe Davis too.
I hate the Dodgers passionately but I don't think I'll ever see another play better than Freddie's walk off grand slam. Couldn't have happened to a better guy too after all he went through with his son.
The only way the Dodger walkoff by Freddie could be better... is if it was Game 7, and it's a walk off grand slam... but the odds of that happening pry not very high...
I used to incredibly frustrated with the Dodgers bullpen all throughout 2023 and the first half of the 2024, but seeing them lock the fuck in and obliterate the Padres almost brought a tear to my eye
6:01 loved watching the Astros lose their 6th and 7th straight home game in the postseason, but I didn’t enjoy the eulogizing of their team that glossed over three years of cheating and one bullshit World Series.
It's probably because your a mets fan but alonso's homer is way to high and the philies comeback (that should definitely includ them coming back from down 3-0) is too low

The odds weren't high at all considering it was THE first postseason walk off grand slam in history. I'm just glad it happened at all.
