I get the feeling that most of the people in the audience aren't very familiar with classical music, and don't realize that you're not supposed to clap or cheer between sections/movements, or even for the parts that you really like (as seen here when the fan favorite "Trisection" begins), whereas these practices are common at performances in most other music genres. It's annoying, but if someone just went to this concert because they love FFT, and no one taught them the etiquette expected at a performance like this, it's at least understandable

As a musician who's performed when people are cheering along, I actually enjoy it. It does get a bit difficult to focus in and stay tempo/dynamic-locked with the rest of the group. But, it just feels so good. The correct answer here is for this group to have a studio or audience free performance that is also findable. Asking an audience to not express joy when they're having a good time, in my mind, is unconscionable as a performer. But, if this is a once in a lifetime performance, I'd expect this crowd reaction.
This is so otherworldly to think of knowing this is from a video game Final Fantasy Tactics soundtrack is one of the best if not the best in game history. I love the game to bits.
from 0:00-1:05 its like the song is giving you the sad vibe of the story and from 1:06-1:28 is pumping you up because youre in for a ride with this masterpiece of a game.
lol the snare drum was trying to play it at the normal tempo while the orchestral was like a half note behind. The entire piece was slowed down so that percussionist should have slowed down as well
As amazing as that sounds, I don't think Tactics needs a Remake. Remaking this game in current standards would more likely than not, butcher this game. Even if the OST would sound better than ever, the graphics would be incredible and we'd have VAs for all characters, the core of what made this game great could be completely ruined in the process. That and, its unlikely it would get much attention. Comparatively few people really know Tactics, the demand would not be so large as to convice Square it should be remade.
Guys I know clapping mid song can be irritating but 1. The professionals should be trained around it and expect it. 2. People are exciting and even nostalgic let them be happy and joyous that's why they paid to see this! 3. At least they are not being purposefully and overly rude.
No matter how trained you are, you WILL be thrown off by alternative sounds outside of the patternized sounds of your training sessions. The performers practice the performance itself, and that is all. Claps can and likely will throw someone off for a moment before they return to the original rythm again. These are human performers.
