I have enjoyed my 2017!! Great on gas and is sporty and great traveling car. Room for suitcases!! Lots of leg and head room for tall people in the back!! Great money spent!!!
Actually I have owned one of these for a year and a half. In 2015 I had bought a Versa Note in the S plus trim having rented one in Hawaii of all places. However I soon discovered that I didn’t like crank windows and manual door locks so I traded it for a 2016 SV with the bells and whistles I wanted. It’s not a sports car and doesn’t pretend to be but for running around the NYC metropolitan area it’s perfect. Ican squeeze into tight parking spots without feeling like I am driving a golf cart.
my only problem with this car is that it doesn't have emergency breaking only break assist. but other than that I would take this over the Yaris because its bigger and has a back up camera and over the fit because its cheaper right now used.
Hi...I need to know if I can have a power sunroof installed into/onto the 2017 Versa SL sedan or the Versa top of the line Note, and if so can I make arrangements for the roof installation a Nissan service department at extra cost, of course. If you would take a moment to reply I sure would appreciate it. Thanks...♐
5 speed manual is basically a waste of money. it isn't even a nice to have. The CVT gets better gas mileage. 0 to 60 is about the same same for both. The Honda Fit isn't sportier with a lesser engine the Fit has a much higher price too. The reviewer is a car snotier who doesn't know how to drive properly, like most car reviewers. He is probably the kind who'd drive through a red light and take total one of these: but these are designed to keep you safe when that happens you'll just get a case of air bag rash. And you can have your insurance company to pay it off as totaled so you can get a newer one used from a rental place when that happens. Try that with a Honda Fit.
Actually, this has no relation to the VERSA series. The Note is the #2 car in Japan (#1 is the Prius). Poorly made in Mexico, they are a decent design. The attachment to VERSA is for marketing in the USA. Just like the former Scion iA (made by Mazda) is marketed under the Yaris name... Kinda sloppy research but hey, you're making UA-cam money...

I’m getting this soon. Just a cute little car to get from point a to b. Perfect for a student on a budget.
I just bought this model! How is/was it?
@@shaun9081 I ended up getting a Camry SE model. Still driving it, it’s toyota so you know it’s pretty reliable.
The title of the video says 2017, but it's a 2016. The 2017s have updated exterior styling.

do you still own the car?

3 years later...
No sunroof on versa note.
Probably not on the sedan
I have a SL but it has 15 inch tires , ?

It does not seem to improve on the 2014 model. This car is only good for warm weather areas and is terrible for cold weather areas in North America.
Dat cvt tho

a five speed manual is not "enjoyable to have". it is a pain, which is why 99% of the populace prefers automatic transmissions.
It may be more of a pain, but the manual is more reliable than the CVT! Also, it's a Versa; so the clutch isn't that heavy!
Fit's better at about the same price.
I believe Versa Note has more interior space than Fit, but yeah I would pick Fit has it has better cockpit design and materials used.
No the Fit is higher priced.
