In this very first video from a brand new Sri Lanka series, I filmed a bit of my travel day from Kathmandu, Nepal to Colombo, Sri Lanka. This shows the bits and pieces of what could happen when you travel, including a huge travel mishap.

ABOUT ME:
In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveler and UA-cam creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries. My content focuses on exploring different cultures through the lens of a solo female traveler, aiming to capture real-life interactions and experiences.
My travels kicked off with a five-month trip across Asia, after which I moved to China in January 2017 to work as an English teacher-my first time living abroad. I left China in 2018 to fully commit to creating videos on UA-cam, where I share my travels and the cultures I encounter.
Living nomadically since 2016, I settled in England in early 2022 after marrying my British husband, David. Now based in the UK, I continue to travel and share my adventures on UA-cam.

You are literally crying for $220. I paid $530 for USA student visa interview and my visa got rejected, and it was just a waste of money.
Also, recently I made a few friends in Indonesia. They are really nice and friendly people, and they are also teaching me Bahasa😅😅. We have voice calls on whatsapp and its so fun to be with those guys (actually girls).

Keep up the good work Syifa! We love you and your raw spontaneous travel/food videos. Sorry you got ripped off at the KTM airport. It seems like they're charging unexpected luggage fees to almost everybody nowadays. My brother got ripped off $250 flying out of KTM airport for extra luggage just a couple of weeks ago, too. The airlines don't always disclose or write their policies very clearly so that the unsuspecting passengers know what to expect and don't get slammed suddenly when they're ready to board the plane. Well anyways, this is just a hiccup on your great journey and the value you bring to your viewers all over the world! Keep it up!!

Thank you Sujan! Yes I pre-film everything from my travels in Sri Lanka a couple of months ago. Right now I am at post production process which means I am editing these videos. It takes longer time to put together a good video especially published at least once/twice a week. 🙏
As you are currently in Nepal, why don't you organize a vlogging/ videography workshop there so that young Nepalese can learn from you how to express themselves or promote things that matter them the most? If the fee is reasonable, I am sure many of your fans would love to attend the workshop.

@@SyifaAdriana Well, I live in Bangalore now, away from my home ☹️. ButI have lived in most part of Northeast so no particular place that I call home. Whole north east is my home 😄. The region is diverse with every state having their own language and culture, but we are bound by one thing, being a North East Indian. Best place to visit are Sikkim (north Sikkim is unique and the homestays will pull you in the rural lives of the locals ), Meghalaya ( beautiful Cristal clear lakes and waterfalls, awesome food), Manipur ( an ancient place with a lot of historical firsts), Arunachal Pradesh (world famous Tawang Monastery), just to name a few. But don't expect modern amenities everywhere nor good roads. But if you want to be close to nature, then it's a place to go.
