I really think you and your sister complement each other so well. You both have different styles but are so attuned to each other. I have always admired how when you thrift you are always on the lookout for things she likes and also things your mom likes. Always thinking of others shows what kind of person you are. Thank you for always being real.
Time with your sister is worth a million because once they pass on ... well you have the memories. I lost one of mine this year and miss her dearly! Wonderful memories though. 👵💕
Fun to have your sister along I am a twin and we do a lot together and her husband is great he always trys to include me since my husband passed and before I met Joe I travelled with them on what ever boat they had in summers on the great Lakes! He has twin sisters also so he gets it ! Know him as we grew up in the same neighborhood just a block away ! Such a small world! Nice to see you banter back and fourth we do the same ! Plus we we have a brother and sister 16 and 13 years younger and in the last 5 years now that the are older spend more time together ! We are 70 and done working at end of year cannot wait Brother getting ready to retire at 56 his wife already retired to look after her parents and our lucky to have her ! So as we age we start to appreciate our siblings more instead of competing against one another ! Life should get better as we get to retire unless health issues but are always ways to enjoy life everyday as they get shorter everyday !
At 13:22 in, you show a a little guy. When my mother passed in 2013 we were cleaning out her house. Found a "troll" doll similar to this that my sister made back in grade school. We now sneak it to each other in creative ways to all the relatives. Hidden in a car, gift at Christmas with no name left at hosts house....etc. Fun with making memories!
At 20:07 when you flipped the plate and bowl upside down, I had a mild heart attack! I bet you could tell the bowl was attached, but I sure didn't think it was! 😂
That MCM planter box with the tiny crack was incredible. I was so sad when you put it back. You purchased some pretty incredible pieces. Great shopping. Ps your sister is a treasure
The California job case would be perfect for Matchbox and Hot Wheels miniature cars. I always think of that when I see those old newspaper printers box cases sitting at the antique mall.
my wife and I missed you there by two days, lol we watch all your videos , we really wished we had seen you there , we live 2 hours away from there and go up every couple of months, really sorry we missed you
Welcome back to the finger lakes and ontario mall antiques. They always have great prices and sales running all the time. So glad sandy introduced u to this great mall
Really love this antique mall but like you I wouldn’t be able to take the crowds 😂 BUT you got some great pieces and it’s the tiny iridescent frog for me ❤
05:21 Might serve as décor for the AirB&B kitchen. 05:42 WHOA! Generic/knockoff UY224 tetrode tube, after 1929 and defo before WWII. They go for $10 to $15 retail, if tested in working condition. 06:56 Uhhh, yeah, Anneliese ... not so much. That's a printer's typecase from a print shop. Sorta broken up too; some of the dividers are missing. I can remember my hometown newspaper still having them in use in the 60s, for hand-setting type for flyers and brochures on their job presses. 18:49 I mean, I like the head and body, but that AIN'T how anatine feet work! No duck, goose, or swan I've ever seen or heard of has a rearward-pointing, weight-bearing toe that touches the ground like that. It's like somebody grafted passerine feet onto an anatine body. 20:55 "Wedgwood" means Josiah Wedgwood (1730-1795), amazing ceramicist of the 18th century. What ya got there would probably be called "olive jasperware." His jasperware was created using a technique called sprig molding, where decorations were applied to leather-hard green clay, then painted and fired. Wedgwood exists to this day, producing jasperware usually in a powder-blue shade.
You were in my old sales territory. The Ontario Mall, Madison-Bouckville and the Mackenzie-Childs Barn Sale were all my clients! The only place you missed was the Stickley Audi showroom & factory. The Finger Lakes are magical!
That “printer’s case” is properly called a California job case used by newspapers to hold lead type. It had sections for capital and lowercase letters, plus grammatical symbols (periods, question marks, semicolons, colons, quotations marks, etc.), all in a specific font. As a former newspaper writer and editor for 45 years it makes me cringe to think of using one for miniatures. 🫣🤣
Mary, same, and I've seen folks using case drawers for them too. I used to teach publication design, and it got to be really hard to pick up art, type and related items affordably!!
I would rather see them used for miniatures than to be trashed because no one appreciates them at all. I have one that I display small collectibles in. I love it.
Type cases/printers trays are not specific to California or newspaper publishing. They were manufactured from around 1890 to the 1960's and used by typesetters worldwide to set type for everything printed before digital methods of typesetting and printing existed. Typesetters were skilled craftsman and tradesmen whose industry has been completely revolutionized by technology.
I thought hot wheels or matchbox cars too. That was my first thought. 🤔 I heard -real hair-too.🙄 You are blessed to have a sis so close in age. 🙏💜My sis is 10 years younger. Have a brother 9 years younger. We don’t see each other or talk much. We have nothing in common. They work and I am on disability. We just lost our last parent-mom- and seem further apart. I am 60. I hate we are not close.😢😢

Analise has such a fun personality just like you!

That was so much fun! You and your sister are a riot together. 🤣 Thanks Jocelyn! 👍🏼

Yes, Lundberg made bells. That was a total find!
That's the shelf where the signed Joe DiMaggio foto was. I was looking at that not the bell 😂❤
At 20:07 when you flipped the plate and bowl upside down, I had a mild heart attack! I bet you could tell the bowl was attached, but I sure didn't think it was! 😂

Yeah. I felt like it was too much with the crack. If it was Goodwill, I would have made an exception. 😂
Nothing like shopping with a sibbling, having the opportunity to enjoy each others company ,whilst being sarcastic and laugh at each other is great.
Great that you have your sis with you...That makes it funner for you!...Much blessings to you all...🙏✨
The California job case would be perfect for Matchbox and Hot Wheels miniature cars. I always think of that when I see those old newspaper printers box cases sitting at the antique mall.
Please keep shopping with your sister!😂 Such fun!😊

I think you are getting better at traveling the crowds!!!
Your sister may have helped???
You are so blessed to have a sister you can spend time with. I have a brother in another state, and we aren't really close.
That cat plate! And the little witch figurine! In 14 min point. I'm in love! I wish you got them or a closer look at them. Super sweet. ❤
I haven't finished watching this but just had to mention that the second perfume bottle was on the top shelf above and it looked like it would glow.
Your sister was right!! We used one for my sons prized Matchboxes!!!
Love love your antique mall thrifts. See so much gorgeousness and learn heaps xxx cheri Australia
She’s as sweet as you loved you sharing her with us
Just an FYI, the little square tiles in a micro mosaic are called tesserae (single is tessere).
It’s great to see you spending time with your sister, but I really enjoy you and Follow that bug shopping, Cat is great at spending your money lol
Yes, you are correct. Robert Held retired a year ago. Wish I had bought more when I visited his studio.
my wife and I missed you there by two days, lol we watch all your videos , we really wished we had seen you there , we live 2 hours away from there and go up every couple of months, really sorry we missed you
Gold stone! I am obsessed with it. Best micro mosaic yet, because of it. Lol
Enjoyed the "hunt" today. Thank you for sharing!!

AHHHHH 😮OMG An autographed foto of Joe DiMaggio and a Darth Vader doll. Not in your wheelhouse
Only in mine 😂❤❤
Such a fun shopping trip with your sister. 😊😊
Mom of 3 boys here! I definitely think matchbox storage! 😂
You are blessed to have a sister! Wish I had one...And yours is fun just like you!
It's a type set drawer .
I thought that printers case looked like an old windows shutter. LOL
I have 2 of the type setter boxes. That's what called them. Love em..
You were in my town the day I left NY
Side eye from your sister in the intro cracked me up.
Omg! Yes! That was totally a Juliette look!
I agree great match box storage. 😂
Great Finds !!
Thanks
Was the blue bottle beside the clear perfume bottle the other part of the ‘pair’?
Awesome! Always good to have a partner when our shopping!
Have a good week.
Your right, printers tray is for miniatures. Mine is full and it goes sideways. 😂
Speaking of matchbox cars..How much did you get for the two matchbox car lamps? Always wondered.
It is in her BIN
The one brought about $175 I think. The other one I have listed on Niknax.
Hi!!! And thanks! Those were cool! Have a wonderful day sweetie!!
The second one sold two days ago. 😂 Good timing for your question!
Idaho here !!! Let's go shopping !!!
Fun shopping with you guys ❤California
You were in my neck of the woods!

7 minutes type storage tray for printing.
Loved the video ❤😊.
Fun to see your sister😊
You should check out the Southport Antique Mall in Indianapolis Indiana
And the exit76 antique Mall Edinburgh Indiana I mention that to her before in gilley's in Plainfield is decent
Girl! It’s always time for paperweights!!!😁
They should just give you a set of keys when you walk in so you don’t have to ask. You’re trustworthy and you spend a lot of $$ in their stores.
You were in my old sales territory. The Ontario Mall, Madison-Bouckville and the Mackenzie-Childs Barn Sale were all my clients! The only place you missed was the Stickley Audi showroom & factory. The Finger Lakes are magical!
Hilarious sibling rivalry!

And that's we say upper and lower case letters. Just learned that recently 😂❤

Who was the maker of the frog, and what show will he hop on?

Note for your end of video calendar that Third Thursday is Nov 21, not 24.
Thank-you! I will update that!
The dragon fly pottery is Reno pottery
You and your sister have completely different tastes in everything!😄
I just love almost everything you always get.🫶🏼
Hello ladies ❤😊😊
Hello from Mexico 👋
I thought you said real hair, too. I was looking for the hair 😅
Hot wheels or star wars figurines
It could be the 24% off everything
She is your Sister.....ha ha. I am always " Sissy" to my " Big Brother"
Toilet paper holder
Is this the sister that used to not want used or 2nd hand things? Maybe I'm miss remembering.😅
She only has one sister 🤷🏼♀️☺️
😂 Yes. But she found some cute stuff! I think I converted her.
I thought she said real hair, too. 😂
💗
❤🙃
🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
❤
I like your sister very much ..
You keep mentioning in different videos it might glow. Can you show us what you mean , maybe show us one item that glows next to one that does not.
Google “uranium glass” or “glowy glass” or “Vaseline glass”. You’ll get tons of info. 😊
Glass with uranium will glow bright green if you shine a blacklight on it. Not all green glass glow.
Who is older?
I asked the same thing last night and someone replied, Jocelyn is older
I’m older by five years.
First 🎉
❤
Who is older?
