- We are taught by Jesus that we are to pray to our Father in heaven. Some of us have awesome dads-loving and nurturing and affectionate and affirming and communicative. That is great. Thank God for that. Some of us have weird dads. Some, abusive dads. Maybe you never even knew your dad. Whatever the case, your Father in heaven is different than your father on earth. God is the perfect Father and He never lets His children down. When you think of God as a Father, don’t think of a distant supreme being who is disinterested. Think of a loving father, because the Bible says, that God has given us “the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father’” (Romans 8:15). It is a warm father-child relationship that God offers us

im confused about praying something over and over again..
Matthew 6:7-8 KJV
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
im really curious yall and want to know.. or does that mean saying it several times in one prayer? or does it mean repeating the same stuff in every prayer? i would really like to know because it has always bugs me..

Whenever I start my day with the Lord’s Prayer, my day is usually much more manageable and with more focus.
When Christian women are being raped, God never listens to their cries for help and earnest prayers, why is that?
@@martinkent333 And how do you know He doesn’t listen to their prayers and cries for help? We live in a fallen world. One where the Devil is being allowed to do his thing-for a time; a very well-defined time that will surely come to an end. This is a central point in the Bible. The world does not exist as you (or I) would necessarily wish it to be. But it is as He allows it be. And His grace is sufficient for us. Be assured He will set it all straight again, as He did in the past. On this promise, and in the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, I rest my faith 🙏🏼.

The “model prayer” - excellent Scriptural advice indeed.
I really needed this message. I admit I used to pray alot and gradually lessening. I still pray but I need to more and find the will of god everyday.
