Undisputed Heavyweight Champion - Drake Corsair. Today we are doing ert missions and testing Drake Corsair in fight. What I discovered is the best way to earn money in Star Citizen 3.23.

13:20 because what is placed on the grid reads longer than the boxes outside the grid, so if you have a player or a body inside, you can only sell what is off grid
Love this!! My Corsair got backspaced when I swapped to the new patch 3.23... along with my M2, Arrow and Ares Ion. I have other ships to fill those roles, but the Corsair was the saddest loss. Good to see if still gunning so hard this patch! XD Thank you! o7

fir real i was real mad when my C2 disappeared and now it costs 30mil
o7 cmdr. 3.23 got my Corsair as well and doing missions in a Taurus is just not the same, despite it now having 4 Deadbolts just like my Corsair did.
The patch notes for the PTU say that when they update the PU you'll get back bought ships that you lost in the 3.23 patch.
Looking to get into solo ERT missions - you are making a convincing arguement to get a Drake Corsair :D
Weevil eggs do show up on scan, it could just sometimes run off the UI if there are too many different types of cargo or if it’s listed lower in the scan results
It's been a while since I played last (3.18 to be exact), but isn't it better to put all your power into shields when all or most of your weapons are ballistics? IIRC you get like 25% dmg resist and/or faster regen? Or did I forget about some other benefits of power to weapons outside of just larger capacitor pool?
Yeah, it was, now you have 50% less capacitors if you are not on 100% weapons. If it was all ballistic, then go to full shield power. o7

Heh, this video so perfectly captures the Star Citizen experience. You almost came out on top, and then you died and wasted a lot of your time getting back to where you were, then you nearly salvaged the session but at the end, everything blew up 😂
So to clarify, do all of the energy weapons draw from the same capacitor now (or perhaps they always did - I usually fly my Corsair solo). If so, is that what you meant by swapping out all of the other guns (side and top turrets) for ballistics so that your two remaining energy weapons on the wings have a bigger energy pool?

I used in my corsair 4x Deadbolt V Canon with 2x M6A Laser and 32 x Taskforce 1 Rockets (Rocketstorm) its a really deadly beast! But your four AD5B also very good!

Also yes, gotta watch your head with 0-G now! You can fly straight into stuff if you run out of Eva fuel! I've done it so many times already during EPTU lol

How did you find your way back? I wasn't able to see my little red x in this new patch. It is possible I didn't look hard enough. Is there a new marker?

I've seen several of these videos from a few youtubers, who fire a bunch of missiles early on - and then I watch the target's shield's completely regenerate before they get into gun range. Wouldn't it be better to gun the shields down first, then hit with missiles at a closer range? Honest question, I don't actively play the game
It seems like some kind of bug. We'll see in future how it goes.

If gimballed and going against slower moving targets, I can imagine the ballistics would be extremely effective.

I use the stock guns on the Corsair, think laser cannons are now the way to go. I do replace the stock missiles with 32 s1 task force 1. They do a great damage relative to their size. Corsair ftw!!!
All good, just use size 2 cluster missiles. Better DPS than size 3.
Not missing the doors 🤣🤣 I got stuck inside the doors a few times.
Also I keep getting stuck in phantom ships when I recall my ship 😢
Is there a way to identify ERT missions that are on space instead of atmo? Must be tricky to steal the loot on a falling ship! XD
Yela on Crusader almost always in space, and it says in contact, you have to read it 🫡
My ert-s always have been redeemer as main target. However they required like 90%of all my ammo (was running ad5 on nose and ad4 on wings)

That's what I was wondering about the new game mechanics. Non-military ships have virtually no chance in defending themselves against theft and piracy.
you can defend yourself just fine. first you have to be smart about when you are in nav vs scm mode. if you are engaged and in ship that can't win a fight you should switch to scm, dump chaff and flares and boost away. then switch to nav so that you can jump away. the other thing you shouldn't do is expect to go to places like brios to sell illegal cargo by yourself. if you do you are taking a risk. you might win. you might lose.
i was attacked at a station while in an eclipse, the clipse is useless at fighting but i was able to force an f8 to flee because he didn't know what he was doing. of course i took major damage but i was able to limp away and repair. if it was two of them i would have boosted away and then jumped.
Were the Pirates that blew up your ship at the outpost NPC pirates or other players?
NPC , they are all over now. Hopefully it will be fixed in 3.23.1

i have the corsair but my ammo on the m6a is 9/9 same for the m7a 9/9 how do i change that ?
Set power to weapons all the way, and the rest of the weapons must be ballistic.

CIG said they have a fix for that in 3.23.1 which should be out soon.
I had exactly the same issue the last time i went to Brio's: First a reclaimer, i've kill it, then after landing, 2 fucking Cutlass had spawned and start to shoot on my Constellation Taurus, and unfortunately i've not had the time to sell before my Taurus explosion.
I think maybe CIG had done that to avoid a solo player gain too much money too quickly: Now you have to come with an escort to sell your ERT trophy's.
I haven't tryed the other Stanton sell sites yet.
They appear in every place. They kill your ship in armstetic zone. Maybe a bug

You have to actually click the arrow to the right to sell the GWE instead of pulling it to max with the mouse.

Ahh the Star Citizen Experience. 3 hours later you look back and see you have gotten nowhere. Every night its the same shit. Either fighting server crash's or pirates
maybe try to play something different? I went into game earlier with only 31k Uec and within an hour I had 85k just by doing bounties. I did one regular destroy the ship bounty (very low target) then 3 of the kill the guy at the crash site/caves. I am a rookie at fps bounties but those were fun and I made good money.

We pay them and they use us as unpaid beta testers. its an abusive relationship with nothing given in return but a promise by the one person you cant trust to keep a promise. I have never wasted so much time in a game and got nothing for it. And that's coming from a OG rust player

Everyone's saying the new meta is laser cannons and I've noticed that ballistics seem to be doing less damage in this patch. What do you think?
Yes, they don't go through the shields as before. But in the Corsairs case I stick with ballistic, or better to say mixed lodaut.
@@infinitespace239 30% dmg reduction by shields at full power. But that's 100% more dmg than energy weapons do with shields up.

Doing these missions with a buccaneer is horrendous! Only ship i have tho since i played the first time again in years
if you're using mostly ballistics you don't get any advantage of having your power to weapons 100% because that only affects energy weapons. So you might as well put more power to shields.
I have mixed loadout.
@@infinitespace239 that’s why I said *mostly ballistics. You only need like 20 to power at most if your only laser weapons are the ones on your wings.

that first mission in the video was not an ERT.
The fact that Ai now is basically cheating means the bigger your ship ( bigger shields, more HP for critical parts ) the better. 3.22 certainly the Corsair wasnt king. It was the Inferno. Because AI never hit you and the inferno had better killtimes due to having more precise DPS for critical ship parts. If you only wanted to shoot that is, and not loot.
It was because it is an A2, and it shows the passengers first. Look at the cargo [X] numbers. It said [8], so you know there is more cargo not shown on the manifest. Annoying bug, that you cant see the entire list.

only one problem is the ships do not shoot back or work properly they barely move also.
You just can't solo this kind of stuff any more, much easier with friends when you have an accident or get attacked.

Lol! Corsair is no meta at all. Actually, put a constel against a Corsair in PVP and you could be surprised. PVE is not really representative now.

You have to build a reputation, if you don't have it ask around for some to share it with you.
