This was my attempt at doing a voiced version of one of these videos. It's sort of a trial, to see how it's received. If people like these voiced ones more, I'll do more voiced ones in the future. Do keep in mind that voiced videos are an absolute ordeal to edit with my current setup, which is why this one took a bit longer than most. So, weigh the pros and cons of this video being voiced, and tell me what you think, and what you'd like in future.
I don't know if you've said this in an earlier video, but notice how the Gray Cultist is holding (well, dropping) an actual gun, rather than a dart gun
The Dread Book is a reference to the Necronomicon specifically from Evil Dead where it is inked in blood and bound in human flesh. Obviously ammonomicon is already referencing the necronomicon so I assume thats why it's called the dread book.
11:46 Notice the Cosmonaut's firm stance and his nationalistic salute? He's standing for the Soviet national anthem. And you know what was in the former Soviet Union? Kremlin confirmed for Gungeon floor DLC!
The audio in your video is rather low, but your voice is quite fine! Your Shopkeeper mimic voice was fun. c: "They can be anything... even you." PLAYABLE MIMIC CONFIRMED
The fact that there's a boss (the bunker) that gets replaced by another boss (bunker mimic) makes me think that the mimic bunker would have behaved very, very similarly to the door lord.
(Theory) What if there was a stealth-mission modifier for challenge mode that used the Alarm mushrooms? I imagine the red ones would be stationary, and the green ones would act as patrols of sorts, that hop around. Unless you are spotted, all enemies in the room would be "asleep" or unable to attack you. If you get spotted, the enemies become hostile again, and what's more: They're all jammed.
I could see the Cosmonaut, Ninja, Lamey, and Shell becoming playable characters. Maybe even some of the extra floors will be introduced as pasts or hidden floors. As for grey Cultist. It may be they are planning to allow the Cultist to be used as it's own character rather than just player 2. He would take on grey and a different passive to resemble him growing up and being an actual character. *Alarm mushrooms may have either called in reinforcements or sped up enemies to rush to that position I'm leaning more towards the first.*
Regarding the Shopkeeper Mimic (and its dialogue), I'd like to put in my two cents. I think the Mimic would have been an enemy - obviously, a species of Mimic - that had the ability to possess characters: namely, the merchants throughout the game. This is supported by the other line of dialogue (the one including "Wow, I gotta watch out for Mimics"). I'd speculate that, functionality-wise, the enemy would've been a sort of mini-boss who, upon defeat, un-possesses the merchant it was in. After you save the merchant, they'd reward you with some sort of item - money, keys, a gun, maybe even some sort of unlock. That's just my opinion, though. Thoughts?
I Like it being voiced, the way I behave I tend to play games while watching videos, and this let's me listen so I can know when to look up when I hear something interesting.
The Bullet hornet was probably for the unused Jungle floor. Hornets can be found naturally in the Jungle, and many games used this when making a Jungle stage. Enter the gungeon was probably no different.
Man, with all of this unused stuff, it sucks that Farewell To Arms is the last update. So much more stuff I would’ve loved to have seen added, especially the unused characters and bosses.
i really like this voiced style as i can listen to it while doing something else. at the moment, i dont see any cons besides your microphone, but thats a really minor nitpick.
I honestly think that we will eventually get a huge DLC drop with all the what I would assume to be alternate floors the new gungeoneers etc and I think specifically the bullet hornet I think will go to the jungle floor and it’s i the early works
I really liked the voice over! Just as others mentioned, I think the only thing that can be improved is the volume. Aside from that, you did a great job and I hope we get to hear more of you. The pacing was good, the pauses were well timed and the little voices you made were fun. Keep it up!!
yea, i thought the same thing. i also think it sounds like it would probably be like a bullat that can fire more than once (although the spirat kinda already does this so idunno.)
Man, everybody dislikes their actual voice (voice that others hear but not yourself) so dont be shy about it, you have really good voice for this kind of stuff!
I'll say that shopkeeper mimic is just a fake Bello. Maybe, drawing from the "special price today only" line, it would make items appear to be very cheap to draw you in, then shoot or something? I am aware of the age of this video, but I just think the idea of horrifically evolved mimics is fun.
no, those are beadies. i think the snakeshooters are those enemies with a crapload of health that are in the ammoconda fight, where the ammoconda eats them to heal
Im thinking the shopkeep mimic just means that he would sell an item and it would end up being a mimic? Maybe? Either that or the shopkeep is the mimic and then once you defeat the mimic the shopkeeper is let out of a cage or something Also your voice is good and i prefer it over the text but you need to bump up the volume just a bit on the mic
4:44 I'm Pretty Sure This Is A Unused Description Of An Passive Or Active Item That Is A Reference To Borderlands 2 Gaige's Action Skill, As She Can Say Words Very Simlar To "Klaato Beretta Nikto" When Using Her Action Skill.
Cosmonaut starts with the makarov which is a russian weapon. The first man in space was a russian cosmonaut called Yuri Gagarin. So they might be somewhat related if the cosmonaut backstory gets added.
The Cosmonaut inflating might be a reference to Dig Dug as he looks similar to him and he inflates his enemies to kill them but i dont know why he himself would inflate
Bullet hornet is an unused second floor boss that would be, obviously, a giant hornet that would act like the tank boss but with a stinger attack and even more annoying allies, and it would be a V E R Y annoying boss, i made my own design of what I think it would look like but that's for another day
Your mic is too low, but you have a nice voice and other wise a great recording! Also, the shotgun kin bullet past reskin was probably cut because of its larger hitbox.
This was my attempt at doing a voiced version of one of these videos.
It's sort of a trial, to see how it's received. If people like these voiced ones more, I'll do more voiced ones in the future.

Nevernamed you did pretty good with the voiced video I think I would prefer that in future videos. Also love the gungeon videos keep it up!
I'm liking the voiced video
I like your voice lol
I wouldn't have even noticed you haven't done voice lines before!
I like this style. It sounds a lot more interesting.
I don't know if you've said this in an earlier video, but notice how the Gray Cultist is holding (well, dropping) an actual gun, rather than a dart gun
Maybe he was going to be his own unlockable character insted of being a co-op character?
i was just going to mention that
I'm liking the voiced content but I wish you would turn up your mic just a bit
Yea, very quiet
i have volume master at max and its still quiet
The Dread Book is a reference to the Necronomicon specifically from Evil Dead where it is inked in blood and bound in human flesh. Obviously ammonomicon is already referencing the necronomicon so I assume thats why it's called the dread book.
also this enemy is now in the RNG department as of farewell to arms
You're correct
11:46
Notice the Cosmonaut's firm stance and his nationalistic salute? He's standing for the Soviet national anthem. And you know what was in the former Soviet Union?
Kremlin confirmed for Gungeon floor DLC!
Dingbat as a Russian, I appreciate this joke
Gungeon floor dlc ¿?
Tetris for gungeon?
if enter the gungeon had online multiplayer, the cosmonaut would definatley be the csgo russian player (CYKA BLYAT)
Squat, not dodge roll to dodge bullets
the inflating cosmonaut makes me think of DigDug
Love that game
Sort of obvious, but chances are that would've been used as his death animation.
Oh god... the cosmonaut is winking while being inflated....
But they're a skeleton... they don't have eyelids...
@@saltyfries680 LOOOK! LOOK THOUGH! IT MUST BE HIS GHOST EYELIDS
What are you trying to say
they're into it
Arrow Head it's a good thing I'm a scalie then dweeb

PLAYABLE MIMIC CONFIRMED
Perhaps that’s the Eevee character? It would explain why their sprite changes to random other Gungeoneers.
blaggjah13 GENIUS
His starting item: Dual wield, dual wield any weapon
I like the voice in these videos and it gives this videos some nice personality :)
The Cosmonaut "inflation" sprite might be it's falling animation.
My guess was for death
@@passonthestar3689 He already has a death animation, and I think he also has a falling animation? Not 100% sure.
Perhaps an intended death animation or falling animation that it doesn’t pull from? Like the map icons
I was thinking of inflation "things"
The fact that there's a boss (the bunker) that gets replaced by another boss (bunker mimic) makes me think that the mimic bunker would have behaved very, very similarly to the door lord.

That would be a fascinating mechanic.
We have to call the modders of gungeon!!! 😁😂
They probably shoot a bunch of spore bullets when you got close or something
No they would be JAMMED PLUS SPEE 1 SHOT KILL AND 63738363937493636494 HEALTH
Reminds me of the Dark Sentry from Rayman Legends. A bit.
I really like this new style.
Anyway, the last time I was this early, the Lich was still the Gunslinger
Everyone hates their own voice. Let me be the first to tell you, your voice is fine and absolutely nothing to worry about!
the thick shading around the decoy of the robot, convict, and pilot makes me thing it might have been a cardboard cutout as a decoy.
i really wish the bullet bishop was not unused. i love the themes with the gundead's crazy religion.
He becomes grey because after realising he is the villain he becomes an edgelord
Trust me my uncle works for epic games
Shell is a ps4 alt skin for bullet
@@shayfarrelly6789 and also switch.
You forgot to mention how the cultist seemed to have used an actual gun and not a dart gun.
Hey "real" it could be a toy gun that looks like a real gun and also has look-alike bullets

The cosmonaut inflation might be a reference to DigDug, as both characters share a lot of similarities in their designs.

Voicing these is waaay better
I hate pillar mimics you almost never find them but when you do they catch you off guard.
“They can be anything”

also the other frozen robot sprite sort of looks like the protagonist of cave story, but its probably just a coincidence
Im pretty sure the shotgun kin with a cape was put in the switch version
Er I mean the shell lol
I honestly think that we will eventually get a huge DLC drop with all the what I would assume to be alternate floors the new gungeoneers etc and I think specifically the bullet hornet I think will go to the jungle floor and it’s i the early works
I certainly hope so
I really hope Cosmonaut returns in a DLC. I like his design.
That mimic voice was 👌
Also i really enjoy the voiced content! I think your voice is actually pleasent to listen to!
7:54 that thing killed me because I was not paying attention ;-;
You are the best gungeon youtuber. Your voice is awesome, turn on the volume of your mic and everything will be awesome
I really liked the voice over! Just as others mentioned, I think the only thing that can be improved is the volume. Aside from that, you did a great job and I hope we get to hear more of you. The pacing was good, the pauses were well timed and the little voices you made were fun. Keep it up!!
The cosmonaut inflating is probably his idle animation or falling animation
Maybe the bullet hornet would have been native to the unused 'Jungle' level.
Just my thought, though.
yea, i thought the same thing. i also think it sounds like it would probably be like a bullat that can fire more than once (although the spirat kinda already does this so idunno.)
I wonder if the Shopkeeper Mimic is an actual Mimic who is a shopkeeper, rather than a Mimic mimicking Bello or some other shopkeeper...
Ever notice that the grey cultist has a gun instead of a dart gun, and the dart falling out is replaced with a bullet?
The bullet gets the shell costume on PS4
Maybe the cosmonaut was a planned 2nd player character, hence why they used grey cultist as template?
The Gray Cultist could have technically been the “Plan B” skin.
Man, everybody dislikes their actual voice (voice that others hear but not yourself) so dont be shy about it, you have really good voice for this kind of stuff!
Looks like someone left out their inflation fetish in the files with the cosmonaut
Maybe
*_Heck._*
*Gordon Ramsey on Hot Ones but only when he's swearing*
I'll say that shopkeeper mimic is just a fake Bello. Maybe, drawing from the "special price today only" line, it would make items appear to be very cheap to draw you in, then shoot or something? I am aware of the age of this video, but I just think the idea of horrifically evolved mimics is fun.
5:05 I think it could also be an item working like clone. Seems like a reference to necronomicon since its bound in flesh of something
oh dear, people used to think the shell alt skin was a new character?
heh
I am a big fan of the voiced version
I think the snakeshooter would've been like the eyes that appear on floor two and when fighting the beholster
no, those are beadies. i think the snakeshooters are those enemies with a crapload of health that are in the ammoconda fight, where the ammoconda eats them to heal

I find the cosmonot, shell, and the gunslinger very interesting. I hope they get added. I want to know their story
3:20 I think it’s an early mimic wall sprite for keep of the lead lord
the robot on the left looks like the robot you find in the power plant in the cave story level Bushlands
The subtitle for the ammonomicon entry for wall mimic “breakin’ the wall” is probably a reference to the Judas Priest song “Breakin’ the Law”
if your voiceing the video turn your mic volume up, right now your ASMR'd
4:44 I'm Pretty Sure This Is A Unused Description Of An Passive Or Active Item That Is A Reference To Borderlands 2 Gaige's Action Skill, As She Can Say Words Very Simlar To "Klaato Beretta Nikto" When Using Her Action Skill.
i think the grey cube is what the anvillain was supposed to look like
I really like the voiced vidoes. Definetely keep it in future videos.
You deserve more views/support U do amazing content
klaatu beretta nikto is also a reference to "the evil dead" as that is one of the phrases in the necronomicon ex mortis
Maybe the cosmonaut would replace one of the main characters, to have his decoy
Loved your voice hope you do more videos like this one
also 4:30 reference to the evil dead series
more specifically the necronomicon ex mortis (aka the book of the dead)
Your voice is great! It's not annoying at all!
My guess for the shopkeeper mimic was the zombie Bello rat thing that shows up when using shortcuts.
Would you ever compile all these cut content videos into a playlist/one long video? Loving the content, man, keep it up.
I'll make a third Gungeon playlist centering around solely the unused Content Videos.
Great to hear, can't wait to binge watch them all once a future gungeon update comes out.
The green alarm mushroom could have been an idle one and if you got close it would turn red spawning many waves of enemies until it’s destroyed
I think the causmonaut is a reference to dig-dug
I enjoy your voice! Please keep doing these videos
Cosmonaut starts with the makarov which is a russian weapon. The first man in space was a russian cosmonaut called Yuri Gagarin. So they might be somewhat related if the cosmonaut backstory gets added.
I think the cosmonaut inflation is a reference to the classic arcade game Digdug.
I didn't even realize the shell images where low quality, I thought it was just design choice
The dread book “klatu” line is a reference to evil dead two with as getting the nomicon which it is self is a reference to what you thought it was
The bunker mimic was probably going to look like the bunker but move and shoot
I like this format, your voice is nice
1:04 the grey cultist's gun is not his dart gun but a regular pistol. Hmm.
I had a few encounters with the wall mimic and once with the pedestal
The Cosmonaut inflating might be a reference to Dig Dug as he looks similar to him and he inflates his enemies to kill them but i dont know why he himself would inflate
Maybe alarm mushrooms could call alarm that would call enemies
Maybe shopkeeper mimic is resourceful rat that appears when you use elevators?
The frozen robot on the left seems to be a reference to Quote, from Cave Story.
I like the voicing. Keep it up!
Bullet hornet is an unused second floor boss that would be, obviously, a giant hornet that would act like the tank boss but with a stinger attack and even more annoying allies, and it would be a V E R Y annoying boss, i made my own design of what I think it would look like but that's for another day
What if the shell started with Casey, wouldn't that be something?
*Im fucking having a deja vu here*
5:50 ayy bunker got ammonomicon entry thats cool
11:53 does anyone else think these caches look like the lament configurium?
God I wish I had the time to watch this tonight
You should use your voice in these videos more! They are great! Cut content videos are just as good as the other ones,
2:32 taking a crack shot but maybe it’s dodgeroll
Your mic is too low, but you have a nice voice and other wise a great recording! Also, the shotgun kin bullet past reskin was probably cut because of its larger hitbox.
The wall mimics description is a reference to Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick In The Wall”
You have a great voice! Keep using it!
It's probably more of a reference to the evil dead since they seem linked via evilbook trying to kill you
Beretta is of course a reference to the gun of the same name
The shopkeep mimic is probably an early version on flynt
You should make more voiced videos
Also 10/10 ign voice acting for the shopkeeper mimic
thinking about a mimic that looks like bello or the other shopkeepers kinda scares me
The robot on the left ice looks like the bomb robot from cave story.
Maybe Dread Book, Snakeshooter, and possibly others got reused as the R&G Dept enemies?
I really, really like the voiced videos more than the text ones, hope you find it as fitting as I do! :)
Dude your voice is amazing
It's pretty better to not have to read, and the recording's great
