One of my problems is when SuperCarlinBrothers try to identify a human character's monster, but only use the ones from Sully's shift, even when the character clearly doesn't live in the US. They made it clear the morning in Monstropolis corresponds to night on the east coast of the US.

I’ve seen some comments saying your works been decreasing in quality over the last year, but I, and seemingly a lot of other people, are really enjoying the new things your doing. Basically what I’m trying to say is keep up the good work 😊.
Seamus mentioning Emma Jean is giving me flashbacks to the confusion over that when I was super into the Pixar Theory & supercarlinbrothers (which is also how I started watching Seamus)
Finally a theory that actually works. Excluding Car's all together and Monsters Inc not being a separate universe (where they travel to the universe that has everything else) and Boo being the witch (they straight up fix her door at the end of the movie so Sully can keep visiting her.) I didn't have much of a problem with the original theory but it kept getting worse as most new movies came out. Also the witch may or may not be a time traveler, I believe that she can at least see the future though.
Maybe just future sight, merlin in Sword in the Stone saw the future. Maybe they based that trait on him Edit: forget what I said, the below commenter is correct
What if the carving was sully's ancestor and monsters mass exited the human world when they learned how to travel through dimensions via doors as a way to keep themselves hidden.
I didn't know about the Sox easter egg in Turning Red, but if there's a reference to a canonical fictional character from Toy Story in another movie, that's a really convincing argument for a connection. I will make sure to point this out when I see Lightyear, and it will be the only thing I talk about for 5 minutes straight.
Planes isn't even Pixar, so that's probably why everyone forgets it. It was the same company that made the likes of Mulan II and Kronks New Groove. So Planes may actually be a step up? Maybe?
The theory that cars is a movie within a movie is one of the best theories I've ever head and I don't know how no one pointed that until now. Amazing video
Another detail that could connect onward as a movie within the universe is that lightyear and onward both use big name MCU tier actors (Chris Evans, Tom Holland, Chris Pratt) to play the lead roles, while most other Pixar films don’t, almost as if the in universe companies wanted to use big name actors in their movies. Idk, made more sense in my head.
You don’t need to because The Simpsons crossed over with Futureama which crossed over with Adventure Time which crossed over with OK KO which crossed over with Sonic who was in Smash Bros with Sora from Kingdom Hearts which featured Sully from Monsters Inc
@@crazyman7615 Which means everything that has ever had a crossover with something else that had a crossover is in the same universe, unless interdimensional travel was used to achieve the crossover?
One thing; some languages don’t have words for town and village and city etc. For example, Spanish has ciudad, which is a city, and Pueblo which is a village. But, as far as I know, there isn’t a word for town. Villagi could be their stand-in word for both town and village
Nope, there is an Italian word for town and would be "città", "villaggi" (wich is written with 2 g but the poor quality of the frame make it seems like 1) it's means just "villages")
I think I heard a quote by someone who worked at Pixar that, only the first 10-ish movies were supposed to be in the same universe. I think it works until Toy Story 4, which is the 21st. If you remove all the sequals, it's 13 original movies. Honestly, that's what makes sense to me. I feel like now, we're entering a new era for Pixar with more original ideas that don't have to fit into the same universe. I still like the same Easter eggs like the Luxo Ball, A113, and the Pizza Planet Truck.
I thought Pixar always completely denied this theory. But they purposefully made the first 10 movies in the same universe???? That’s interesting… Also, I feel like it’s still going to be possible to stretch the theory to fit in the new movies. But I do think that Lightyear is the end of an era, and everything after Lightyear is a brand new era for Pixar
If there's one thing i take from this is that we have been looking at the pixar theory completely wrong trying to force shapes into holes they cant fit, trying to construct timelines that make absolutely no sense. But they way Seamus does it makes it a much better theory by not trying to construct a timeline or make every movie a actual event that happened and just throwing out movies that cant connect makes the theory much better and interesting.
I appreciate that this doesn’t include the fact Boo has to constantly change ethnicity for the old Pixar Theory to work. Sometimes she’s Asian, sometimes she’s Hispanic, and sometimes she’s white
Lightyear’s post credit scene should have been Andy leaving the movie theater with Woody, Slinky, Potatohead, Rex, and Bo and him asking his mom for a Buzz Lightyear toy!
I firmly believe that onward is a dream that Andy's sister has. This is because we never see Andy's father in any of the films, which would mean the plot of onward would fit perfectly as something they would dream up. It would work better as Andy's sister's dream as the main character of onward has an older brother and no younger siblings. The family dynamic in both films are very similar!
@@jeremymorris345 While it does look very similar, it is ever so slightly different and it just looks far too much like mountains; I just think it would work much better as a dream!
Personal new head cannon regarding Onward is that a con's worth of LARPers and DnD players went on a question for the magic evidenced by Brave. Upon finding it, they took to the stars and founded a civilization where they could live out the fantasy and avoid the technology trap of Earth. Eventually, as seen in the movie, people returned to a more garbage filled way of life.
At 0:16 in Sulleys hand, you can see another Easter egg that connects movies. Andy’s toy (from the Toy Story series) Jessie is in Sulleys hand. It is possible that Boo is from Andy’s universe. This is the only reasoning I can think of connecting Toy Story and Monster’s Inc
40:16 THAT MADE THE LAST 40 MINUTES WORTH IT!!! I know you meant "organisms" but the fact you said THAT... Thanks! I needed a good laugh!!! EDIT: Thanks for leaving it in!! That's the first time I've been able to replay a clip over and over again and get a laugh in a while (You know it was hilarious because it got me to laugh still on the SIXTH TIME)
Actually in Soul there is a poster for traveling to Portorosso and that is the location in Luca. As well as in Onward The calendar in Ian's room has a picture of the woods from Brave on it, while Barley's map refers to "Brave Wilderness." The map also references "Lock Lake," a nod to the animated short The Ballad of Nessie.
I always get so excited when i see that uve posted a video cos i know whatever its going to be its going to be interesting. I really wished that ud post more :(
You forgot the Easter egg where in the good dinosaur movie, when arlo tries to swim, if you pause it when arlo and the camera go's underwater, if you look into the corner of the rock pool. There's the Hank the octopus from "finding dory." He right there in the corner.
It would also make sense that Mei's friend, Abby, from Turning Red is wearing overalls with the same flowers as Boo's door and resembles Boo, but based on when each movie takes place, Turning Red in 2002 and Monsters Inc. Boo's file says 2001 or 2002 (I don't remember which), Abby couldn't be Boo, she was more likely her sister.
🎵Everything is part of the Pixar theory, just thinking about it, is getting me teary, one giant timeline, one huge story, from ratatouille, to finding dory🎶
I used to buy into the Pixar theory, but now that I take a step back from it I find the infinite mobius matryoshka multiverse model more plausible. It's not one universe, but several self-referential fictional universes that keep each other alive by making merch of each other. Credit to the Theorizer for that one, they completely changed the way I see the Pixar theory and the theorizing process as a whole.

I LOVE the long form videos! I LOVE the use of Vegard to play off of your jokes! Maybe consider getting him a microphone ? It was really hard to hear Vegard at some points in the video and I would love to see him more often.
The main reason for it being "4 villagi" is that the actual word for town (paese; lowercase p) it's also used for country (Paese; uppercase p). So it being translated to a word that's not uppercase sensitive makes absolute sense in order to avoid confusion with italians
It's nice to see a bit more critical take on the Pixar theory. Sure Carlins have good points when they theorize how everything fits together, but there are quite some leaps of faith there
Could it be possible that Riley went to Ellie’s funeral and was shown videos of her life at the funeral, and they became fear instead of sadness because as a child Riley would not have fully understood the concept of death meaning that instead of being sad for her passing relative she instead became afraid because it was the first time she encountered death and now knows that it’s a possibility
It’s possible cause up take place in 2009 and Riley would have been 5 so it’s possible Ellie could have been an aunt to bill or Jill also the Collette magazine lines up cause ratatouille takes place in 2007 and Riley was born in 2004 so she was 3 almost all the flashbacks we see of young Riley are when she’s 3
I think Luca is in the Pixar universe because town is similar to village and translations change wording if you understand what I mean. Also, I know that brave has no proof of being in the same universe... ...BUT IT COULD LITERALLY JUST BE IN THE PAST (I swear I'm not just saying that because it's my favorite Pixar movie). I also believe what Seamus said about the reality of the afterlife being different to different people, kind of like how the priest guy didn't see the same underworld as the others did in Percy Jackson. Also, onward could be a movie within a movie, like Lightyear. In conclusion, (and in my opinion) all of the Pixar movies fit into the same universe.
I think your theory does make more sense than the "they're all connected" standard Pixar theory Soul *might* be some kind of Pixar Multiverse nexus point, though
Tbh I think I have a fat crush seamus and idk why he's just adorable to me Also video suggestion, try connecting all of the Disney straight to dvd sequels, but ignore any evidence from the original movies
21:35 Are we not going to address that Mike should be drowning here? He's not wearing scuba gear, he's wearing a snorkle. That means the straw thing has to be above the water so he can still breath. If it's underwater, he's just inhaling water. Can monsters breath underwater?
I talked to one of the original pixar animators one time and asked him about the pixar theory, he just laughed and said it was kind of a joke around the office. He was pretty cool though
Omg I'm screaming at the screen right now 🤣. Soul and Luca are ovbiously connected because in Soul there's a poster advertisement for Portorosso on the street, which is the location that Luca takes place, proving that the people in Soul can literally go to Portorosso
Since it seems that nobody has pointed this out, Bomb Voyage spoke French to Mr Incredible and Ratatouille takes place in France. Maybe he was a mime first and something traumatic happened on the job so he quit and decided to make bombs instead:
I’d like to imagine the Pixar animators are purposefully adding connections with no real meaning and are just laughing behind the scenes like Jschlatt with 50 keyboards during an episode of love or host
This is a cold idea for a video and I loved seeing all the connections but also I never realized just how many assets they reuse lol. It makes sense though and I think they really just embrace it and add actual easter eggs every now and then just to throw us off.
Seamus, I love it when you do board videos connecting other movies together. Please, can you connect Disney computer animated movies of the century. SuperCarlinBrothers did a Disneyverse theory, but they only went from Tangled to Frozen II. Can you please do a video explaining everything from Chicken Little to Encanto. I really want to know how and where they all fit in, especially Disney's Bolt, which is one of my favourite animated movies ever made (unpopular opinion). However, you could also connect all shows and/or movies made by Nickelodeon.
@@sacrificiallamb4568 I have yet to see Meet the Robinsons. The way Seamus described it in his tier list video has kind of lowered my expectations for it. Bolt is more of my forte because I'm a big animal lover. I mean, he should definitely do everything from Chicken Little to Encanto. I think that would be very interesting.
I commented the same thing in one of the supercar Lynn Bros videos recently, but I personally believe that cars as a film with in the Pixar universe just like light-year and that just like light year, although it’s a cartoon film for us it could be live action in their universe as well. I also had this crazy theory that by and large could be the company behind these movies as well if you want to connect it further, because they’ve come up with all this other technology, so it’s not a stretch to believe they could also have a foot in the film industry, maybe under a different name, it would also explain why they put their branding in the films as well, But by this logic, this also means it’s possible that any movie could be a movie with in the Pixar universe, like for example a bugs life or onward, but it’s hard to know for sure.
I think Incredibles being a fictional universe within this makes more sense, and the mime could just have been picked up as an actor for a this movie, which like lightyear would be fictional within, and probably an adaptation of the comics. In fact I think the Lightyear movie was probably a reboot of the 2D animated TV-Show.
24:00 coco is, i believe, set in the modern day while the incredibles was set in the early 1960s so the incredibles family could be dead but the fact that theyre all the same age as seen in the movies has majorly depressing implications
One thing i've thought about with Turning Red in the Pixar universe is that it would imply that some of Mei's belongings, like her plushies and maybe her Tamagotchi, are alive. This makes the film's ending a bit darker as it means that Robraire Jr., Mei's Tamagotchi, was a living being that died when Ming's panda spirit took over. Also, wouldn't the spiritual plain in Turning Red also count as an afterlife? I mean, Sun Yee herself is there.

For me it just reminds of the theorizers family tree video connecting ratatouille finding nemo inside out Toy Story and up
Seamus in 2019: "ThE tAbLe Is BaCk *Party noises*"
Seamus in 2022: "And this is the board."
Seamus is single-handedly keeping the yarn industry alive with these videos.
Maybe they based that trait on him
Edit: forget what I said, the below commenter is correct
@@firefiy8789 No merlin does time travel, he comes back with a Hawaiian t-shirt and sunglasses

I think at this point we need Hannah Montana to appear in every Pixar franchise to make it all connected.
You don’t need to because
The Simpsons crossed over with Futureama which crossed over with Adventure Time which crossed over with OK KO which crossed over with Sonic who was in Smash Bros with Sora from Kingdom Hearts which featured Sully from Monsters Inc

@@danieleziaco7092 cool!
I love how Seamus went into this video with a "Let's see how we can disprove the Pixar Theory" mentality and then ended up connecting most of them
I think I heard a quote by someone who worked at Pixar that, only the first 10-ish movies were supposed to be in the same universe.
That’s interesting…
Also, I feel like it’s still going to be possible to stretch the theory to fit in the new movies.
One of those is not a race.

Personal new head cannon regarding Onward is that a con's worth of LARPers and DnD players went on a question for the magic evidenced by Brave. Upon finding it, they took to the stars and founded a civilization where they could live out the fantasy and avoid the technology trap of Earth. Eventually, as seen in the movie, people returned to a more garbage filled way of life.

frankly I'm just impressed by how much research had to have gone into this
At 0:16 in Sulleys hand, you can see another Easter egg that connects movies.

I really wished that ud post more :(
I personally don’t believe in the Pixar theory, but it is really fun to think and talk about
Hey so maybe the memory of Riley of the wedding was fear because if I remember correctly Ellie´s side of the family were shooting at the wedding.
Seamus I was feeling completely awful, and then I saw that u had uploaded and I suddenly feel so much better. Thank u for making these videos, they really help me ❤️
Let me get my popcorn ready….I’ve been waiting for this one!
So, soul and Luca are in the same universe. In soul there's a poster advertising a trip to Porturosso
If Escapula counts then Brang counts because Brang is tied to Reilly’s dad which is a person.
Personally I feel these could both be product placement, like how KISS is in Fairly Odd Parents but is Timmy Turner is not in our world.
I LOVE the long form videos!
I LOVE the use of Vegard to play off of your jokes!
Maybe consider getting him a microphone ? It was really hard to hear Vegard at some points in the video and I would love to see him more often.
i want twenty minutes of vegard questioning seamus' "pretty solid evidence" and seamus getting angry :D
Vegard, I love your hair!
Miss you on your channel, but I'm glad to see you through here. ❤️
I think your theory does make more sense than the "they're all connected" standard Pixar theory
Soul *might* be some kind of Pixar Multiverse nexus point, though
Seamus I don’t know if you noticed but in Planes: Fire & Rescue, Sidley, Sarge and McQueen all have cameos in the fiom
Tbh I think I have a fat crush seamus and idk why he's just adorable to me
Also video suggestion, try connecting all of the Disney straight to dvd sequels, but ignore any evidence from the original movies
That actually would be cool, because I highly doubt that anyone has ever tried to connect the Disney sequels before
21:35 Are we not going to address that Mike should be drowning here? He's not wearing scuba gear, he's wearing a snorkle. That means the straw thing has to be above the water so he can still breath. If it's underwater, he's just inhaling water. Can monsters breath underwater?
Watch the theorizer for a pixar theory that will blow your mind
You can also link the short "tin toy" with toy story 4 because tinny make a cameo in toy story 4.
Imagine being afraid watching a video of two people you don’t know well getting married
Absolutely loved watching this video and seeing Vegard’s reactions to Seamus’s reasoning as sort of an outside perspective 😂
I love that he lists the afterlife as being less believable than toys coming to life.
This was a great watch. The banter going on between you two is so much fun.
This is so freaking impressive!! The planning and thought that goes into these videos blows my mind.
What about Meet The Robinsons?
@@sacrificiallamb4568 I have yet to see Meet the Robinsons. The way Seamus described it in his tier list video has kind of lowered my expectations for it. Bolt is more of my forte because I'm a big animal lover. I mean, he should definitely do everything from Chicken Little to Encanto. I think that would be very interesting.
i dont think i have ever thouroghly enjoyed a 43 minute video throughout the entire video, well done!
Watching british Greg Heffley explaining a cartoon universe for 45 mins straight is what I specifically needed today
I love how by the end of the video (especially for Wall-E) Seamus has completely disregarded his "companies don't count" logic
I think Seamus board videos are equivalent to Seamus table videos.
Who's gonna tell him of the Woody and Buzz pinatas in the right of the background of Coco while Miguel was running down the market place?
After all these years and seamus still hasn’t looked up what a tri-state area is :0
“Ahh, Perry the Platypus. Let me tell you about my latest inator, which I will use to take over the entire Tri-State Area!!!!”
I’m so glad he combined movies in a franchise into one thing in other videos like this one.
Vegard being absolutely done with Seamus for 44 minutes
That mime from ratatouille was the actor for bon voyage but he fell on hard times
