Awesome you mentioned that a splinter should not be a stiff Ace or a stiff King. Again awesome. Rather than getting in the weeds of support points you simply indicated that splinters are defined bids and gave a high card point range which translates into support points. You've been doing this a while haven't you? And then of course you mentioned the possibility of disaster when you're learning new stuff.
