I think Joshua is too big. He’ll control the fight with his size. Usyk might be too good to get stopped, but he’s too small to be effective against Joshua. My prediction is Joshua by Ud
Great point! I've been thinking more about this since i've made this prediction video. Usyk may not have anything in the power department to be effective to a 6'6" Joshua and he will roll on with the UD win, especially on his home turf. It's going to be an amazing bout for sure. If he can wear down Joshua by the 8th and land clean shots that will be the key factor. Usyk gets stronger as the fight goes on, Joshua has gotta land something big by Round 8.
@@jahkoz I can see that happening. I think Joshua will win with cautious pressure though. He'll use his jab to control the range and fight at an angle to make himself a smaller target. When Usyk gets close Joshua can either push him back or clinch. He's strong enough to control the fight on the inside. Usyk (I think) is the better boxer, but Joshua is skillful enough to use his size advantage to control the action.
But I think it would be a mistake for him to trade punches with the smaller guy. Usyk is smaller, but he has more skill fighting at close and mid-range. I also think he's a little quicker than Joshua. In the heavyweight division, anyone can be KO'd. If Joshua takes too many chances it can happen to him again. If they trade punches Usyk will land first and he'll land more often. Even though I'm sure Joshua can handle Usyk's power better than Usyk would handle his, it isn't impossible for Usyk to hurt Joshua.
