    • @MakingwithMarilyn
      @MakingwithMarilyn  7 місяців тому

      You cannot sublimate the handle on these tumblers, but I do with I would have had a couple more butterflies in the design:)

    Hi Marilyn 👋🏽. I'm watching this video right now, but I wanted to ask you a question now, before I forget. Question: Where did you purchase your platen covers, size, and cost for your HTVRONT Auto Heat Press 15x15 Machine? Do you have the Bottom cover on just the silicone pad or is it over the entire Bottom of the machine? I'll make another comment once I finish watching 👀 the entire video. Thank You, Marilyn. ❤😊

    • @MakingwithMarilyn
      @MakingwithMarilyn  7 місяців тому +1

      Hi Kawanda! I bought a teflon platen cover that fits it beautifully. I hated the pressing mat that came with the press so I ordered a replacement mat for a 15 x 15 press and trimmed down the corner. I also have a short video showing these inexpensive improvements I made to the press. Hi Marilyn 👋🏽! Thank you for responding back. Yes, I had seen all of your videos on this, and that's how I knew what to do. I thank you so much for your videos. But just to clarify, so you only used a teflon cover on the top platen? And not on the bottom platen too? Because I guess the confusion came for me when I watched this video showing your HTVRONT Auto Heat Press 15x15 Machine with the teflon cover on it, but it looked like a cover was also on the bottom too. I think I was looking at the silicone mat on the Bottom. Please let me know for sure if you do or do not have a teflon cover on the bottom. Thank you so much for all of your help. I apologize for asking you all of these confusing and maybe even ridiculous questions. Thanks again. ❤😊❤

      @@kawandalindsey368 I’m happy to clarify and never hesitate to ask anything. I only use a Teflon cover on the top platen. When I am doing something where the bottom platen needs protected, I use butcher paper.

    great video question why use shrink wrap?

    • @MakingwithMarilyn
      @MakingwithMarilyn  Місяць тому

      @@ssrealestateserviceinc.5064 it holds the sublimation paper very tight against the sublimation tumbler and helps with a good transfer of the ink.

    Okay so why is your go-to paper HTVRONT rather than A-Sub? Hiipoo paper is a problem for me. Have not tried HTVRONT or Koala.

    • @MakingwithMarilyn
      @MakingwithMarilyn  7 місяців тому +1

      When I did tests of different papers, I found that I preferred the colors and vibrancy from it. I do have A-Sub and like it as well. HTV Ront is very budget friendly. I actually had an issue with Hiipoo paper as well. Some red ink seeped out of the black ink. I tried it again later and it performed much better so I assume they changed it up some but I haven't gone back to it. I LOVE their sublimation ink, though.
