- This is my first time ordering products from Luxe. I wanted to do a review because it is being advertised all over social media and I wanted to know for myself if it is legit.

The Lash Tint I ordered was in fact "black" so if you are hoping for something darker, definitely leave it on longer. For a more brown tint, simply leave it on only 2-5 minutes.

@@sandrak4119 I did! I watched a couple more after this one. It worked but my lashes are short and I didn't get the outside lashes as good as I would like. I also have a problem seeing small things up close and my lashes are blonde so it was hard for me to tell where they all were. I also dyed them which was easier with them glued down than my bottom ones which were not. Next time I'm going to get my daughter to help me glue down my top lashes better. Once they are glued down really good, the rest is pretty simple. Make sure you have cotton wipes and Q tips out and ready. Have magnifying mirror and make sure you have bright lighting. It helps a lot. Good luck!

I ordered just the tint kit & in the instructions there was a QR code saying it would go to a video tutorial, but their site only had video for the lift kit. My kit did come with lash papers that you stick over the lower lashes & then cover the top lashes with tint while you're eye is closed. The instructions did say that the black tint would look brown when mixed. Your video is the only tutorial I've seen for this brand that isn't just like a slide show of pictures, so I'm glad I watched this.

I have this same Luxe kit..both lash lift and tint! They worked great for me and i got amazing results with the lash lift! I was so so happy with it. They now make the back of those silicone things sticky so you dont have to glue it!! So i didnt have any issues there! Also, if you cut it to fit your eye it sticks alot better! To glue the actual lashes to the pad i just did a little bit at a time bc the glue dried too quick and i couldnt get them all to stick at one time. Thats my only complaint....otherwise it was great and totally worth the 40 bucks i paid! Especially bc you can get atleast 9 sets out of this lift kit if not a few more! So i did my friends and my sisters too! Overall this was a great kit for trying this at home for my first time!!

Don’t get discouraged by this review guys! I just tried the lift for the first time today and honestly it’s life changing for me ❤
It’s not as hard as she made it look. I was a little stressed and nervous before hand after watching her video, but it was super easy and everything went smooth. It did take me about an hour and a half but it was my first time. I did one eye at a time so I could focus and went really really slow.
The eye pad comes with a sticky strip that you peel off and I just added a little bit of glue to the edges. If you hold it down for 60 seconds it will stay just fine.
Once the pad is on your eye and you put the glue on the pad, just press your lashes down with your finger. Once stuck to the pad then use the tools to space them and make them look perfect 😍 How they look on the pad is how they will stay. Add more glue if needed. AND MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AND USE PLASTIC WRAP!
YOU WILL BE COMPLETELY FINE AND IN LOVE WITH YOUR LASHES!!! I would recommend blocking out two hours on your first try and DO NOT RUSH! I’m positive it will get easier and faster each time you do a treatment.

@@persona5305 My lashes stick straight down and has caused so much grief in my life. I spend so much time trying to get them to stay curled each day. An hour out of my day so that I don’t have to worry about it for 2 months is well worth it. But if you don’t have my problem and it’s not an issue for you then don’t do it. Eyelash extensions are hundreds of dollars with a lot of maintenance needed and applying false ones everyday is not for me. On a side note I actually enjoyed it, and I am excited for round two in a few weeks. It’s a life saver for me but obviously not for everyone 🩷
I found it just as hard as she made it look. I'm trying it now and it's incredibly difficult and time-consuming. The instructions are confusing and badly designed, the lash pad doesn't stay stuck no matter how much glue you use or press it down, and it's impossible to follow the instructions exactly as it says. Also, hoooooow tf are you supposed to put cling wrap over your lashes but not cover the tips?
@@FiresCollide I’m definitely not an expert. That was my first attempt, and I am excited to do another treatment in a couple weeks! Yes it is time consuming but like I said above, it’s not for everyone. I have the time to do the treatment so that doesn’t bother me. I spend more time just tying to keep my lashes curled throughout the day than this treatment took 🤣
I completely agree with you on the instructions!!! THEY SUCK! That’s why I linked another video with my first comment. She gave great instructions and I was able to follow along step by step with her.
I personally didn’t have any issues getting them to stick, but I was expecting the worst so I was pleasantly surprised. I did let the glue airdry for 10-20 before I applied them so it could get a little tacky first. Then I added a little bit more glue to the corners and held it down for a couple minutes.
The eyelashes take time to stick to the pad as well but I just added more glue as needed. I was also trying to use the tools to push the lashes down at first but it wasn’t working. So I literally just pushed my lashes down with my finger until they stuck. Then I combed the lashes and kept working with them until their placement looked good.
I can’t recall the instructions saying to not put cling wrap on the tips of the leashes. I just covered my entire eye to help keep the lashes in place until it was done. I think I read it was just an optional step as well.
Overall it took a long time but it’s going to get faster over time. I for sure did not do a perfect job. I have a spot that I didn’t quite get the placement right so I will make sure to focus on that next time. I can also see where I got some of the product on the tips and they are a little too curled but it’s not noticeable and once I put on mascara you can’t tell.
I know it’s going to take practice for me to get it down perfectly, the first time is difficult. But overall I actually had a fun time doing it. I know my mistakes and will correct them next time.

do you think it’s going to be too difficult for someone who has zero experience with false lashes? (or makeup in general.) i’m in my early 30s but never really learned how to do makeup properly and it feels like everyone is a professional level makeup artist now. 😩
I love me some honesty. I do see that this worked for other people or they SAY it worked for them, but I feel like I would be exactly like you in trying to do this if I got it. It always looks so easy in the ad and I was ALMOST sucked in but decided to try and look up reviews first. Thank goodness I found your review. Thanks for taking the time to make it!

This was great! I had already done one application 5 weeks ago, but I watched this to see if I missed anything although my results were pretty awesome the first time
The 60 second press on the pad looks game changing. I spent 25 minutes trying to get them to stick last time
I brush my lashes out with a spoolie before as well. And yes, cling film is Saran Wrap (brand name) and I think it helps keep the lotions from drying plus a bit of extra warmth to help with the curl.
Thanks for sharing this, pretty accurate to how it is to do it, but I think with more practice we could get better and faster at doing it.

I'm in the middle of the process with the Lash Lift kit. I came to this review to see if I was inept, if my lashes were ultimately helpless, or if I'm right and the kit is truly as difficult as it is for me. Good to know I'm not alone! I did get a good curl (FYI I'm blonde with very thin, short, straight lashes) but only after switching to the S pad, breaking every rule in the guide and pressing everything into my eyeball for 84 years. I'll be using mascara tomorrow (also against the kit's rules) because this was not worth it.

Did you end up using the cling wrap? I think heat activated most perming solutions, whether it’s from a dryer or cling wrap holding in body heat. Maybe that would have helped?
I am so glad I seen this before buying. They always make it look easy when advertising. I don't think its as easy as they made it look. I appreciate you being so real. I deleted my purchase. Its back to the eye lashes or eye lash curler.
If you take your time when getting the lashes to stick to the pad, it’s sooo worth it. I just did mine a few weeks ago and it was super easy. A little fiddly to begin with but by the second eyelash I did, I was a pro

I worked for me well. I was able to handle it easyly, eveb i thought it would be difficult. Choosed S, very curly. i went to a salon in the past done it 3 times, the curl lasted 1 week only. Lets hope this one will stay for longer.

I’ve just done mine and got great results (and my lashes are so short) I used the Medium. I did not realise you were supposed the glue the pad to the lid?!! I just stuck mine on with the adhesive already on the pad (although I had a nightmare and it didn’t stick well) so next time I’ll glue the pad on! Keep persevering ❤
you're right, you weren't supposed to use the glue, that's what the adhesive was for on the pads. I'm not sure she even read the instructions before attempting to do it.
@@lisao3041 When she got her kit maybe you were supposed to glue them and they updated and got new ones? I ordered pads from somewhere else that you do need to glue. Mine were with the adhesive as well but that's what I would guess. I hope anyway
I am a very impatient person, that's why my husband who is very patient knows how important to me it is to me, offered to do this for me!!! We've both read the directions and watched the videos and l was so bummed after seeing yours, Jaime that's when he offered to help me. That's when l decided to take advantage of your offer so l tthink with his patience and help, l may feel like a woman again! Still in a wheelchair, so no high heels, or really heels at all, but may make a stab at some since I'll be in my chair. It's our 30th Anniversary this month and I'd love to feel feminine again! Too bad, it's so darn expensive!!!🎉😅
One thing I would suggest as a trained technician, is to glue in sections. So apply a stripe of glue upward, get that section perfectly placed. Then the middle section, then inner corner. Getting each lash straight and seperated is crucial. Follow all steps. Use saran wrap. Don't overprocess. Set a timer and even be conservative first time around - even go 2 minutes below the recommended times. It's better to not get a strong result than to fry your lashes.

You are the first person on this platform to actually make a honest unsponsored review in a very long time. That being said, since we all deeply appreciated the honesty you should do a review of an eyebrow lamination. I’m curious to see if they are worth the hype.
I just finished the all the steps and it was TOUGH!! The glue didn't stick and I kept adding more. I used the plastic wrap etc... it was just a fail. My tint was barely noticeable so next time I will try to leave it longer but I am not hopeful. You're right. There is a reason people do this professionally lol
I did the lash lift a few months back , yes I do agree you get frustrated but for me they work better the second time, haven’t done the lash tint but now I want you to try

@@sandrak4119 Yes I did. My daughter did it as well. I used the small ones because I cut the medium ones and messed them up. The small definitely made mine too curly. My daughter just redid mine 2 nights ago and I used one of the medium ones. It definitely works!! I also got a free brow lift kit because my order took so long. I did that as well as a brown and lash tint!! My advice is take your time. Read the instructions carefully and set a timer each time. Have everything set up in front of you. Oh and take before pictures. I was so excited I forgot to take before pictures 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️Let me know how it goes. I
I was really nervous too but it’s not as expensive as getting them done professionally and if you’re patient when getting your lashes to stick to the pad, it’s actually quite easy. When I say I was hesitant, I ordered mine and let it sit for almost a month before I tried it. I was sooo worried I’d lose my eyelashes but so happy to find that not only did mine work (I just have to tint mine soon) but they look fab and no eyelashes were lost lol
Thank you for this review! I just spent 45 minutes trying to get my lashes to stick to the pad and the pad to stick to my lid and gave up! I did try both at the same time which was probably a mistake lol

What magnetic lashes do you recommend? I too love having my lashes look all pretty but I’m so over sitting in a chair for 2 hours to extensions, and I’m tired of applying clusters. I was going to try the lash lift but I’m not so sure anymore.

I got the same kit and the first time i wanted to rip my hair out. I ended up just gluing the lashes to the lids without those stupid pad things and did it for less time. I have now literally just spent the last hour trying again a second time and gave up. All the reviews of people saying oh it's so easy are lying lmao. This was such a horrible experience for me too. Sad because it's a great price but rather go to the beautician and pay the $80 for lift and tint instead. Thank you so much for your honest review!
🤣 omg SAME. I just finished one eye and it only "worked" because I used the most dramatic pad, had to glue my lashes straight to it, used the cling wrap THE KIT DIDN'T INCLUDE, and spent a half hour literally holding my lid shut. I'm planning on using mascara tomorrow anyway despite what the guide said because I honestly don't care or trust this product.
@@saveferris486 apparently some people had in their kits the pads with the adhesive already on it so "it worked for them". I never got that :/ I even tried again lmao and cut them to fit...nope.

I would recommend to grow the lashes with good serum and then do the lift. More length to work with and effect will be visible. Growing of lashes usually takes around 6-8 weeks, mine are almost touching the eyebrows.
I find this review honest, but not getting myself discouraged from home lifting.

I loved mine! Def hard af to do yourself if you have zero Idea on what you are doing as i did 😂 got tint and glue EVERYWHERE! I have done it on some friends and they turned out great! Def have to practice on yourself before it gets easier to do. The way she did this video was great and raw lol loved it
I used the other end of the black brush wand to smooth my lashes onto the pad, nothing else worked and I used a lot of glue. Mine came out a little bent and not as curved 😬 but still happy with the result, hoping next time I try I will be better at it, I found the pads hard to stick to my eye also. Definitely not as easy as it looks.
I agree with you!! I just finished using the kit. It was not easy to get the pad to stick or get my lashes to stick before the glue dried and got all messy on the pad. Plus after I was done, I don't really see a difference! Disappointing.
I emailed their customer service for help with my order. it's been about a week, and I am still awaiting a response. I even messaged them on Instagram; they asked for my name and location but have yet to reply. I ordered the lash lift set; my credit card has been charged, but I am still awaiting a confirmation email. I paid extra to have the product shipped out first. I can't track my order without the number.
I'm incredibly annoyed with the poor customer service and the lack of professionalism. I shouldn't have to email and message continuously to get a response. I've never had such a bad experience with any company. They purposely ignore you.

Thank you for doing this live review! My experience was identical. Oddly enough, I was satisfied to see the exact same struggles and feelings. Insufficient directions, pads don’t fit or stay glued, cling wrap? WTF, not included. Super feel like I wasted my $$ on this. I used the tint for my eyebrows and are very happy with those results, had to wing it much like yourself because really, the directions are terrible!

There's a booklet of directions and a video. While I can barely put on false eyelashes, there is an element of being somewhat 'coordinated'. I didn't use plastic wrap and it worked just fine, but who doesn't have plastic wrap in their house? I just did it and it turned out just fine.

Had the same problem with my pads. Going back to look at mine to see if there was a peel adhesive but I'm pretty sure there wasn't. Maybe we got an older version.
I watched, and I've also watched a fee other, and I appreciate you keeping it real. I purchased these a month ago and still haven't used them. It seems way too much, I really don't want to bother and waste my time. If I use them, I'll get my work daughter to help me, but I won't purchase these anymore.

Thank God I'm not the only one struggling with that pad. I've done mine last night and i tried like 3 times 😂. I was so frustrated 😂 but I did it at the end.

Glad I watched before buying. Looks like a HUGE pain. I have to wear glasses to see anything so applying these would be impossible. I've tried lash extensions. Would not stay on. I think bottom line for any lash enhancer is you must have decent lashes to begin with or they won't work - extensions or these things. Thank you for posting this video.

By clean your lashes, they mean DIRECTLY beforehand so that your natural oils are not present. Including the ones off your fingertips that you just coated them with😂

Had mine done professionally a couple of months ago and it was a waste of money. My lashes were too short in my opinion on top of her not getting all of my lashes in the same direction. Some of my lashes are still in the downward position ☹️

Ordered black and it turned out brown on top of my... Natural brown lashes 😑 That part was disappointing. And it got my eye (Felt💥F🔥c💥king great 😶)
You don’t need to apply glue to the stencils, you just peel off the back to adhere.
What's your favorite lift and tint kit/brand?
As an aesthetician, I just don’t see how this is a good idea at home. You’re perming your lashes. I hope you pay attention to the timer, so you don’t fry your eyelashes. Not to mention when you do a brow tint with someone with light hair blonde, you really really want to customize that color. Blend . The Brown (lt brown, med brown, dark brown) may be too dark. Close your eyes and apply it to your eyelashes? Really that’s challenging. You did give it your best shot!

I have so much lashes they don’t even stick to the silicone and no matter how much glue I apply they don’t stick I’m so upset. Not to mention thin the glue dries so quickly and just just comes off when I brush my lashes to stick to the silicone 😭

The pads they give you really do suck, the corners won't stick to my eyelid. I tried multiple sizes, tried cutting them... nothing was working. Ordered some random ones off of amazon and I'll try using those instead.

Was there not a sticker right behind the eye pad? You’re supposed to peel it off and stick it on your eyelid, the glue you used is for glueing your lashes upwards on top of the eye lid patch… that’s what my instructions said 🤷🏻♀️ thanks for the real review 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

While I appreciate your honesty, I don't think you gave the product a fair shot trying to do it live for the first time. You put undue pressure on yourself to get it done on camera. Might have been better to study the instructions for a bit before you dove in, like lay it out in your mind, have the products lined up and ready to go. I understand this is your channel, job or whatever influencing is, but I feel a little sorry for the company being an object of your inexperience. Sorry, just keeping it real. I just ordered the kit and have zero expectation of getting it 100% the first time. I'm kind of a perfectionist, so I know I'll prep like it's a test. Anyway, good luck to you.
