this video has gotta be the sweetest, this little guy is playin and groovin to the music’s i grew up listening to. i wasn’t allowed to touch the records, but i woulda destroyed them. this little guy is so sweet, and has so much control when he’s handling the records. i just discovered u guys yesterday. 😊😊😊thank u for sharing these videos ☺️
Love hearing these oldies again, and it's really cool that your son gets involved, he's got some skills, you're teaching him well! He's going to be a great DJ someday.
OMG!!! I love this KID! he is into the music I have loved since I was a kid. Great to see the music is being passed down! Great job mom and dad!!! Love it!!
Z-Bear, my favorite video yet. Explosion of a new kind of music that started in the late 50s but really soared in the early and mid 60s. Special songs. Thanks.
Another excellent video. It's nice to see your son picking up a liking for this music, which I'm guessing was popular about 45-50 years before he was born. My Dad did the same thing. I was born in '56, so my "growing up" years (musically) went from the British Invasion to the beginning of disco. However, my Dad exposed me to "his" music, which was from the Swing Era....Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Artie Shaw, Stan Kenton (Kenton was his favorite), etc., and vocalists like Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Tex Beneke, Louis Jordan, The Andrews Sisters, Mills Brothers, Jo Stafford, Dinah Shore, etc. I am glad he did. I developed a liking and appreciation for the music of that era, as well as an appreciation and a lot of respect for the musicians in those bands. (I still think of Goodman as the best clarinetist ever) Thank you. And by the way, the kid's got great technique.
I get a kick out of the 3 styles of queueing the next record. Zbear does the 3/4 reverse rotation and holds the turntable for 5-10 seconds before releasing. Dad doesn't do the 3/4, but methodical in finding the starting point, but no hold, just sets and releases. The kid, a little more freestyle, spins the turntable backwards, stops it - "good enough!" and off goes the headset!
Thank you for this time capsule of grest music 🎶 🎵 memories, cars and friends!!! We can't go back of course. But this channel lets us visit for a while. ❤ 🎉 🏆
Every song you have played I have in my collection and I still play all of them as well and love them the 60s were great . I’m feeling my age playing and listening to them but we did have the best music back then.
Ps:I will assume, correct me if I'm wrong. Father, son, daughter, you All still Rock!! Will listen to the end of my life. I'm a 60's model. All of your editing and videos Are Awesome Please Keep Gooing with All of this!! Hoping to make it to a Million Views!! Luv the 80's Also!!!!!!!!°
There is nothing like a 45 spinning on the turntable! Great sound reproduction and very durable. I have over 1000 available for my jukebox. Thanks for the great tunes and memories ❤
It’s a family hobby to spin the discs. I used to like doing it too! I didn’t have any records of my own. People would give me their records to play at school during the summer. (Late 60s)
I taught my son how to use my dj equipment and he was your sons age I used to take him to different parties I was doing when I was a dj he loved it and still loves this music as well he’s 38 now time has gone so quick.
I am a sound engineer. We got called to supply music to a gathering. We loaded our turntables, our preamp(6-channel Tapco with all kinds of adapters, a 100-watt/channel amp, and two monitors for the room. It was a small room. I learned how to spin from WFMT's Ray Nordstrand. He was still spinning classical music on vinyl. I watched and learned! Young fellow does a good job, but not as nice to watch as the young lady!
Great comment, I love how they play the less heard tracks and artists, even when I've heard them i often haven't heard them in a long time and it's wonderful

All the other 60s 70s 80s early 90s music it's all bullshit from all other podcasts this is totally legit and the best I ever heard and that's not a guess that's a Fact Jesus Loves You.
There were a lot of variations of lyrics to Louie, Louie--I was curious which would show up here--was fun back in the day arguing over who had the most correct--were they really that pornographic as some suggested or just suggestive? My fuel injected Sting-Ray and a 413, Revvin up their engines and they sound real mean--Jack it up, Jack it up, How they gonna shut you down? Don't mean nothin'-thrown in just for fun 🤣🤣🤣
Boun Notte Bella ❤ Kingdom Blessings to everyone 🙏 Thank you for everything u do. Sweet dreams Bella, how long is this going to take? Ps thanks for showing me instead of her dancing, self control is a bitch
Last one , walking in circles asking about you to strangers all night. At least I'm providing excellent material for the Graphic Department, I'm sure there getting getting shafted. See what I mean. Seriously, how many are seeing this?
When is copyright over? I guess the problem is you receive money for youtube videos and therefore cannot use their music to make money. Could you play it without getting money? Just curious. @@VillaVybes

nice tunes top boy playin the records, looks a bit small 4 the 60s lol
He does pretty well for being born 50 years after these songs were on the radio. He's an old soul for sure.
Still he has all the moves of a future d.j.

America Graffiti soundtrack
Good memory! Yes many of these songs were in that movie and the thumbnail for this show is a screenshot from the Wolfman Jack radio station scene.
Love that movie! I must have seen it a dozen times!
No Beatles? No problem. There was lots of great music in the 60s. Thanks for reminding us of a few. Hat tip to making this a family performance.
No Beatles, GREAT, give me The Kinks any day!
Jim, this was the music that preceeded the Beatles. Takes us right to the edge.
@@philt1771 Yes, thank GOD.
Great comment, I love how they play the less heard tracks and artists, even when I've heard them i often haven't heard them in a long time and it's wonderful
Agreed. Beatles would be too easy.

Motor City listening in. :)
Is that "Cousin Brucie" (Bruce Morrow/Meyerowitz) at the start?
Wish Papa Bear and Baby Bear would dance more on camera!

You are rather young to know of this era in R&R..but more kids you're age should dump the teeny bob pop for this reai R&R...
its not about the beatles its music
Agreed, John. The Beatles are the headline though so many great musicians and bands make up the full story of this period in music.
Out of this world creativity. Hope i measure up?

We would LOVE to feature The Beatles. Best band ever! Unfortunately we are not allowed to use any of the songs due to copyright.
