Oh wait I think its cause im using an inpainting model that isnt compatible with control net. But when I use a non inpainting model it just creates an entirely new image in the masked area
Many times that is an issue with how SD reacts to photos. Try opening the photo in mspaint and resave it as a .png. Sometimes it doesn't like the resolution as well, those should be multiples of 64x. Photos from my phone cause that error.
@@WhatsThisStickyStuff Sorry, I missed your reply. It helps to use the same model to create the original image and to do the inpainting. Then it doesn't mangle the background and gives more stable results.
