Hello everyone! I hope you enjoy this little process video of my salmon bear illustration! I used an ipad pro & procreate, plus my own brushes. It was so much fun making this and I hope to create more pieces like this in the new year. I also included some footage of my fox illustration from November. Happy new year & I hope you enjoy!

What are your art goals for next year?
my art goals in next year would be drawing clothes and backgrounds & accessory
Mine would probably be to get better at anatomy, specifically human anatomy, and trying to understand forms. Also getting better with line weight and color.
Basically study more! I want to improve in art in general, especially anatomy and backgrounds😸
Try to develop my artstyle, learn how to draw more landscapes and thing out of my comfortzone and overall being more positive
Enjoy my crafting more and not think about not being “good enough “ especially when I am told that I am better than I thought I could be.
Yep. This year im focusing on producing art projrcts i want to work on instead of making sketchbook art for the algorithm. Here's to 2024!
I love most art but I especially love animal art, since it feels like all artists draw people and only people, if you get what I mean!! I love the kinds of scenes and critters that you draw-- they are so cottagecore and cozy :) thanks for being so open about your highs and lows in this channel, you've been a great inspiration to me
that is the most adorable bear 🥺 lovely to hear your thoughts on your own art, hopefully 2024 will be a good year for us all ❤❤
Jel ilysm and I get so exited every time you post!
That's very sweet thank you!
I'm so happy to hear you've had a turn-around with your art and how much you're enjoying yourself. I love your stuff! I've been going thru a similar burn-out rn and it's reassuring to know there's a path out even if i have not found that yet myself...
I'm glad you feel reassured! It can be tough but I think drawing whatever comes "natural" even if it might seem too "easy" can really help with burnout and sparking inspiration again. And resting! Rest rest rest when you need to.
My plan for this year is improve my mental health and work on my art skills! I want to do your doing I see many artists and I know that capable of the same skills but I'm just scared of failure..and not be good enough..
Improving your art is all about failing over and over... until you don't! I "fail" all the time when I'm drawing, but you usually only see the things I'm proud of - same with any other experienced artist. I wish you luck on your journey, and don't be too hard on yourself to be perfect!
I love the bear it's super cute! The fox is really cool too!
The way I tend to get better is by giving myself a project to do that will force me to do what I am trying to learn. I am going to be working on a pilot for a new series over January.
Best wishes for the next year !
That is such an adorable bear !
Did you watch the Katmai bears cameras this season by chance? 😆 They have been a huge inspiration for me to draw bears and salmon this summer and autumn.
Anyway, good luck with your goals for the next year and I wish you happiness and health to you and your loved ones.
thanks for droppin us a bonus fox too
Like the hat on the fish
I just want to let you know that your art style has influenced my animation thesis project I'm working on! Keep doing what you're doing!
❤
I was looking forward to change my art style and I really really like your art style and i wanna learn more about it(hope you do a tutorial to it) and this bear was so cute💗🐻
i hope u would create like, how to draw like u (art tutorials)
Looking forward to this patreon print ❤ my art goal for this year is health related. So I want to do more but my lupus/artritis/depression won’t let me :( just been drawing a dog portrait as a gift for someone but it was a struggle after not been able to draw since mid November :( so yeah I hope 2024 will be a better year. Can’t imagine it being worst 🤞🏻
I hope 2024 treats you well!
Hope you have a restful and fulfilling 2024
I think my current art resolution is to find my new art style. I’ve been getting a little bored of my current one and wanted to do something more flat but textured (my old style is a little on the 3D rendered style) - point of reference: think Ghibli, Breath of the Wild and Splatoon’s 2D art style. Hopefully I’ll be able to achieve that by the end of the year!
I love the drawing of the bear! Every time I see a bear with salmon I share it to folks with the caption “Salmon Run”. It’s an inside joke between family and friends. It turned out so good too!
Have you ever illustrated a book?
I love the drawing of the fox. Will it be available as a print?
would love to buy these brushes and textures.
Glad to hear that :)
Plssssssssssssssssssssssssss you do wolf 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺pls 🐾🐾wolf pls
