No assumptions. Take your time to find the matching layers.. if the hanging wall is higher, then it is reverse. On the other hand if the foot wall is higher, then it is a normal fault. In this case, the right hand side (the foot wall) is higher indicating that the entire system has lengthened.

2 can it be a normal fault (divergent)
3 divergent
4.can it be a overturned fold(convergent)
5 divergent
#2 is transform, #4 is a fold... But not overturned
