Myself and my partner always talk about weddings I’m not big on spending a lot of money for a wedding I’d rather use that money to invest, just a nice initiate wedding then go on a series of holidays focusing on us two rather then pleasing the mass.
Flower the marriage rather then the day, I know a lot of people that cause unnecessary financial stress after the wedding and causes issues between the couple.

Wedding planners are more than just the planning ! I’ve discovered that most of them do a day of coordination too. So people running around doing logistics on the day.
Also 25k for the dry hire venue 😂😂😂mine is 5k!!!!
I agree, co-ordination is more important than a wedding planner and I also don't think all planners are in your corner re budget so it's better if you can (have the time) to bargain yourself and build some rapport with vendors anyway. My venue was £4.5k too haha, for 250 in Birmingham though
