Sorry about the delay in response I was in a car accident. The driver and I are both ok, just a bit banged up and recovering. Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. I’m glad it helped.
My husband and I are disabled and not able to do it ourselves. Can you suggest what type of professional we can use to make this repair ie carpenter, drywall/plasterer or roofer? Thanks, Kristen & Tony Bradenton FL
Hi Kristin, sorry about the delay in response. You could hire a plasterer, but there aren’t too many of them anymore, so they might be expensive. You might find a handyman that feels they can do a good job, but that might be hit or miss. If you don’t care either way if it remains the old plaster or if the person uses drywall, then the drywall is probably going to be easier to find and cheaper. Good luck.
I can’t remember for sure, I think it was something by either Gorilla or Loctite. The key is make sure whatever you choose says it adheres to plaster. I hope that helps.
very good, thank you!

Interesting video format 🤐
Question: did you leave the washers in and just plaster over them or did you remove them after a few days ?
Thanks for this!
