Nice job with the video! I also like seeing what staircases look like in buildings too! I was doing about the same thing when I was looking at each floor in a parking garage in my hometown in Sioux City, Iowa. Because there are 3 Dover Traditionals, one Montgomery with Square buttons with an EPIC motor. However. They were all getting modernized. There were only 2 Dovers left. The single Dover had just gotten started, the Montgomery was almost done. The 2 Dovers that were on the same controller were still original. And I was walking up stairs and seeing what each floor looked liked. They were getting all new door frames, doors, pretty much everything about those elevators were getting replaced from what it looked like. Of course I was sad about it because they were special as I rode them a lot when I was little. But you know. When parts for old elevators like that are hard to get, then you are just better off replacing the whole elevator.
I love the cab view of the elevators and I always love walking on the man powered elevator which is the steps and love love the motor. It’s almost 2023 and almost new year. Cannot wait to see if more of your amazing stuff
Since I just now carried 10 bags of groceries to the 9th floor (stupid Dover!), I'm enjoying watching someone else climb stairs, lol. This place looks nice.
Epic motor! Those are really nice elevators! Were those Westinghouse modded by Schindler elevators very fast? Even before the mod, were they really fast?
@@DieselDucy Might even be a sub-basement, but likely on the ground floor behind the lobby (easier to bring in ingredients, and better to have the cooking appliances, freezers, etc on the slab rather than elevated if there's space) -- is there a restaurant onsite?
@@DieselDucy oh! I see! For me, I wouldn’t really do that because the walls in the stairway looks like a service area and I can get caught by security for recording myself walking up the stairs!

Happy New Year!
It’s not new years
If you haven’t filmed it yet, there’s also a set of Schindler 400As with innovation at the condo building of the resort
Nice video DieselDucy.😊

San Luis, Missouri :)
Holy smokes that’s a lot
Rear door could be key access (room service staff kitchen access)?
I just wonder what floor it opens on

I’ve been to Galveston
Do you still have that ford ranger?
Do stairs and elevator at Church ave or Market garage
Cool elevators and the stairwell has seen better days @DieselDucy
This hotel look vise rich
4:42 You walked up the stairs also because the guest floors are locked off
Only the top 2 floors were locked. I walk the steps to be healthy.

You need to be very careful walking up the step because try not to look down
Ok then.
I can only imagine how bad the Westies ran when they were original...
