- First laps at the outdoor K1 Speed, K1 Circuit track in Winchester, California! They only let the rentals run the north course which is ok. Hope to try out the full course soon. It's definitely different learning these karts with the front brakes. I think I might've gotten used to it at the end of the session but it feels like I can carry the speed so deep into the corner but as you can see in this video, I believe the added front disc brakes lead to me constantly blowing the up hill hair pin corner. The basic speed feels just as fast as my 4 stroke LO206 which is solid. Kinda sucks how expensive this place is and you gotta keep paying to unlock the faster speeds that they advertise. I worry the pricing is going to gatekeep a lot of people from coming here and topped with the horrible location of the facility, I feel as this is a receipe for the place closing in 5-10 years but lets find out! Until then, I can't wait to participate in their rental arrive and drive leagues, I'll just be curious to see how they even out the weight bc as of now, their doesn't seem to be a way to add ballast. So far, so fun!

Only if they would allow a group to rent out the track and bring their own Karts. I have a little 125 shifter kart that would be a blast around here.

I've never been to one of these little tracks but it sure look like that guy has been before . He knew how to backup the competition. Little tap the brakes & go.

I was pretty impressed with the brakes on these karts. Tires are a little weird though
100000%. Had to back up the corner so much just make the corner. So much understeer. Definitely not used to having front disc brakes

@@NASCARJIMMAYFAN going down the eases I was free and drifting all the way down 😂. I was only pushing in a couple corners because of my late braking due to me not being comfortable w the front disc brakes 😭
