I hope you enjoy this video. This is my 194th "WHATS IN THE BOX" kit review. As a novice modeller my intention is to learn the various assembly techniques and skills required, especially that of painting, so as i can produce half decent looking models, I concluded the best way to do this is to start with something simple, personally i think the best way to learn a new skill is repetition; try, try and try again. Whilst doing this I am also hoping to improve my VERY basic UA-cam skills, so far just uploading these videos has resulted in tantrums of titanic proportions, yes unfortunately i am also techno-phobic.

Another beauty Andy! 👌 Love the detail and the instructions. These really are pretty nice kits. I might have to decide which one of these reviews I like the best and get myself one! 🤔 I still like the fuel tanker, though this one is quite pleasing! 😁 Take care mate....... laters 👊
Cheers bobby, i do like this though i still think the taker is my favorite.
@TheNoviceModeller 👌👍
Hi Andy. I believe that by the time you complete all of these kits you will love or hate IBG kits , I think the former. I might suggest that you invest in 3 books. CMP designed vehicles , Bedford standard trucks and Einheitsdiesel trucks. There's nothing wrong with research. Your parts bin will be bulging after building these kits. One thing I have found over the is that when you make one of these new style kits they go together so easy that there is not much else to do. This is where the painting and weathering comes to the fore. This is why I hanker for the old kits , you have to work to make them fit or make new parts from scratch. You have learnt this recently with your Wirraway kit. You know what your letting yourself in for , and thats where the fun lays. I recently built a Modelcollect E-75 and the only thing that I did was to change the fenders for the etch brass option. I didn't need to do it but I did it to make it interesting. You will see what I mean with the more you build older kits. There's a challenge to old kits. These are lovely kits without a doubt but you will want more of a challenge as you build them. So damage,stowage and weathering will be on the menu. I have enjoyed this little series on these IBG kits. By the way the suspension on the Einheitsdiesel is easier to build than you think , you will see what I mean when you build it. Good luck bud.
Hi Brian the parts and instructions seem quality, just need to increase my skills a bit, Canada day is in August i think and as this comes with Canadian markings i think that might give me a decent amount of time to prepare or this particular one. LOL yes the parts box, might need a bigger one by then. hankering for the old kits remember i have that old Airfix of the same truck LOL, it looks nice to this day, so you have a point there.
