The ending at 3:23 is truly one of the best ways I’ve ever heard a track end. The combination of chords from the film fit so perfectly and give me chills every time.
0:01 This made me made me laugh, because instead of explaining of how magical the chocolate factory is, he just goes "e-e-e-e-e-ede-e-e-ede-ede-de-d-e-de" and sent them off to get candy.
A guilty pleasure of mine is listening to pogo's disney mixes. Relieves all stresses of adult life; I feel like a kid again. A true gift you have there Mr Pogo, thank you for sharing it with the world.
This is one of the most beautiful things - so enthralling. It feels like there should be a German word that translates as "nostalgia for joy experienced by others," to describe the sensation of watching this.
After watching this periodically over the years, I finally noticed what I think makes it so powerful: all of the cuts are on the beat. Same with Veruca punching the bowls of candy. Such good editing.
I truly can't express how happy your music makes me feel; I always turn to it whenever I'm feeling down & out (I mean I listen to it no matter what but still) and it instantly turns my mood around. This remix in particular happens to be a favorite of mine. I quite literally show your music to anyone and everyone who will listen, and they tend to adore it just as much as I do. My point is that I'd like to thank you for continuously making great music, it means a lot to all of us (as I'm sure you may know). Keep up the amazing work!
Such a great job of capturing the innocence and joy represented in this film. I especially love the sequence at the end of spinning and hugging. Just pure joy.
How many people actually listen to the words of most songs. Pogo has made something so hypnotic and spellbinding that our minds insist on filling in the lyrics with something almost pulled from the depths of our subconscious. Each poster attempts to fill in what they believe it means to themselves. A song with no real meaning, being given meaning unique to each of us. That's the real power behind Pogo's work..........
12 years later and nothing is able to bring back that blissful ignorance and joy of being a child like this song. This taps directly into the farthest depths of nostalgia and I'm so very appreciative that I was able to find this.
I discovered your channel through Disco heat's "Candy man" video! Your mix style is beautiful and I love how you can appreciate even the most subtle yet joyful tunes from songs that remind everyone of their childhood! I hope you love what you do and keep up the good work!

Ya same! Ancient candy stores (like this one) can be good, but sometimes I think the modern ones we have (including It’Sugar) are great too. Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory still isn’t as modern looking as It’Sugar due to its whimsical but outdated atmosphere. But that’s the company’s reflection. We used to have one at my local premium outlet... until it closed down. I mostly loved their popcorn more than their candy (I still love candy though)! Now I miss it very much it brings back so many memories! 😢😊

I watched this mix when you released this track a few years ago and it doesn't get old, must have watched this film hundreds of times back in the 80s and 90s :-) A great childhood flashback! Thanks Nick!
Pogo is the only musical artist where I've gone from not getting the appeal at all to completely vibing over the course of about a decade. Maybe I had to grow up and crave the whimsy I once had. Any other music I either love or hate immediately. But Pogo is something special.
Pogo! Since when I first hear your music, I show it everyone of my friends. They all fell in love! Your music is so... I don`t have even a word to explain it. Just wonderfull. I love all your work and wont more and more!
I think that this + Wings for Dreamers are my favorite because of the extreme editing. It feels like a lot of passion and work went into it and I respond to that!
This makes me feel like I’m in love.. but not even with a person specifically, just with life and the beautiful innocent things in it. Like I’m spinning somewhere sparkly and sunny
When you scrolls down through the videos, because one wonders "what if I have forgotten?" But you then get reminded of how great and joyful this track is still after 11 years.
Today marks the 8th year Death Anniversary of one of me top #28 favourite actors of ALL-TIME, Gene Wilder. Like I always do… I watch the “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” 1971 (5/5 stars) movie and “The Frisco Kid” 1979 (5/5 stars) movie on August 29th on VUDU to remember him 💜💜💜 I miss him every single day and I wish he’s still alive. I literally still cannot believe it’s been 8 years since he died. I’m still sad/devastated that he died/no longer on this Earth 💔💔💔 Time flew by fast. I feel like it was yesterday. I remember the day Gene Wilder died on 8/29/16- Monday... I was reading the Book "If I Stay" by Gayle Forman in the afternoon. Then I came downstairs and sat at the dining room table to eat a snack. Me Mum came out of her bedroom and she told me that Gene Wilder died. I thought it was NOT real. Then I searched it up on the Internet and saw it was true, which broke me into a billion of pieces and I couldn’t stop crying 😭😭😭💔💔💔 Gene Wilder died on a Monday like Robin Williams did 10 year’s ago on August 11th, 2014- Monday whilst I was watching a Season 5 or 6 of the telly-show “Doctor Who” at 12:00pm home-alone when me Mum was working 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I wish he was still alive (Happy/himself)/healthy (No health problems or Alzheimer’s)/no struggling with anything and ALOT more things. Gene Wilder didn’t deserve to die… Why does the good ones always have to die? 😭😭😭 He deserved to live a INFINITE life, see his family grow (Spend valuable time with them)/become a Grandpa/experience more life moments and other countless things. I wish mental diseases DOES NOT exist at all. I hope we can find a cure one day 🙏🏻 I wish I could’ve been there for him (Like a WHAT-IT SCENARIO: I was born in a different year/was similar age to him) during his possible darkest/low points he might’ve had in his life and saved him from going bye-bye aswell as more 🙂 WHEN TIME-TRAVEL EXISTS in the future… I’m going back into time to SAVE Gene Wilder dying from Alzheimer’s disease by getting him ALL the help (He 100% absolutely needs)/support him/be mates with him/be there for him/tell doctors that he has Alzheimer’s and ALOT more stuff! 🙂 It is going to happen. The world is still a much sadder/different place without Gene Wilder 😭😭😭 I wish he was still alive so he can be surrounded with his family/mates and can star in MORE movies aswell as other reasons 💔 I miss him every single day that it literally hurts me. He’s always on me mind 24/7 non-stop. He affected me in so many ways 💜 Gene Wilder was the one who made me laugh in "The Frisco Kid" movie. Gene Wilder was the one who made me not give up. I love how many of Nick's songs are on spotify, but I wonder why this specific song isn't. this was the first song of his I had heard back in 2013 and since then I've loved all of his pieces of work. but this one will always hold a special place in my pre-adulthood life.
Pogo, thanks for giving me something to do my homework too. I can focus so much more with this song and with "I do what I like and I like what I do". Amazing, thank you.
Still such a treat to watch this movie. Gene Wilder's smile inducing act along with the songs just warms your heart. I never liked the 2005 version though, Johnny Depp's portrayal of Wonka just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. This remix and the movie is still fantastic, no its scrumdiddlyumptious.
Opened an ice cream shop this year with many wonka-esque desserts and this has been the soundtrack to many nights up late working.
Congrats!
That sounds awesome, if I could go there for ice cream I would!
Good. Need help?

But the only thing I can do to remember him by watching movies, videos, etc. and every August 29th... I am going to watch the movies "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate" and “The Frisco Kid” until I die and show me future children/grandchildren aswell of how Gene Wilder was the Man who inspired me, besides Robin Williams. Gene Wilder is still the Candy and Chocolate Maker even if he is in Heaven.

My art teacher had one of Pogo's songs on his iPod and I wanted to know more. Now I'm happy listening to Pogo's awesome songs.
I’ve been coming back to this song for quite a while. I used to love the candy store scene as a kid and this always pries at my childhood nostalgia.
I think it’s a crime that this song is not on Spotify
@Google Test well that sucks
iPhone 12 commercial brought me here. This is an underrated Pogo song.
Same
Been listening since this came out! Woke up thinking of it today and decided to re-listen my favorites. Thanks for the years of great tunes!
a 60's pippi longstocking mix would be EPIC. just throwing that out there...
YESSS
thank you!!!
Nah bro he needs to remix the 88’ movie
@@Rexdapubby He can do both! I love them both but he’s a fan of the classics
all i can hear over and over is
"Willy Wonker makes the miracle of weed"
😂😂😂😂😂😂
narnialious Willy wanker
That One American Dad Episode In A Nutshell.
Now that's a factory I'd like to see
@@willywanker1906 haha I know right
I watched this mix when you released this track a few years ago and it doesn't get old, must have watched this film hundreds of times back in the 80s and 90s :-) A great childhood flashback! Thanks Nick!
The best remix to the Candy Man ever
I keep hearing "don't we want to make the sex the miracle lick" and "separate the sorrow and collect up all the cream" Hahahaaaaaa!
Willy wanker
Sounds like an interesting party.
As far as "separate the sorrow and collect up all the cream", those are the actual lyrics of the Candyman song which has been remixed here.
Fresh Prince you dont hear it?
Pogo is the only musical artist where I've gone from not getting the appeal at all to completely vibing over the course of about a decade. Maybe I had to grow up and crave the whimsy I once had. Any other music I either love or hate immediately. But Pogo is something special.
His wife: Why is my acid sweet and has no effect
This guy at work:
Amazing sounds, listened to this so many times
Pogo! Since when I first hear your music, I show it everyone of my friends. They all fell in love! Your music is so... I don`t have even a word to explain it. Just wonderfull. I love all your work and wont more and more!
R.I.P. Aubrey Woods.
Love this song though. :)
what a lovely name for a lovely guy. rip
i watched willy wonka the other day and when the candyman came on i expected the song to sound like this lol
When the song just stops at the end, it feels like I died.
Thank you Pogo, for all the serotonin.

RIP Aubrey Woods!
When you scrolls down through the videos, because one wonders "what if I have forgotten?" But you then get reminded of how great and joyful this track is still after 11 years.
Wow! This song is about 4 and a half years old, and it's still good! :D
You're saying old music sucks? No, my friend
Steven Spielberg .....What? Old music does not suck. It was always good.
SMUS16475 youre right! one of those songs that is.. just timeless
SMUS16475 wait what its that old i though it was like really new wow im... just wow
+NotTombRaider soon to be 7 years old.
The song with the man in the candy shop was always my favourite part.
Whenever I am feeling blue, I come here and this immediately brightens me up. Thank you.
Decade later and this still slaps
That disco vid gave me chills :)
Starried Which one?
Gene Wilder was the one who made me confident and be meself. Gene Wilder was the one who inspired me to become a famous actress and movie director one day, besides Robin Williams. I just wish he was still alive so I can thank him (In real life personally) for EVERYTHING that he has done to me and to cast him in me 2032 Holocaust/World War II movie. Plus on August 27th, 2016- Saturday, what a coincidence, I watched the "Scrumdiddlyumptious" song-video and on August 29th, 2016- Monday, he died... Then on May 13th, 2016- Friday, I watched the "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" movie and after watching the movie... I REALLY WANTED TO CAST HIM IN ONE OF ME FUTURE Movies!!! Now I cannot 😔 I have autism (I’m autistic), which makes it hard for me, and me expressing who I am, how I feel, doing things, and etc... I just watch anything with Gene Wilder to help me, besides Robin Williams. I have been struggling with this mental illness since I was 3 year's old. The peep's who has been supporting/fighting for me and giving advice to me all of me 13 year's, was me Mum, Da, other family members, and non-physical Gene Wilder and Robin Williams. Throughout me life, I gotten bullied, excluded, ignored, made fun of, etc. because of me mental illness which peep's told me that I was stupid, weird, ugly, and other negative words (Plus I wasn't creative or intelligent that I will be unsuccessful and I was never going to be a actress/movie director). But when I first watched the Movie "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" for the very 1st time at age 13 year's old (Currently 24 year’s old)... With Gene Wilder it made me better. It made me feel special. It literally changed me life. The movie itself and Gene Wilder, it influenced me to be meself by not being shy anymore but being more confident by communicating alot, standing up for meself to bullies, make new mates, filming/editing more short films, confident in acting, being helpful, showing who I am (Of how I am creative and intelligent), expressing feelings, and other positive things. So I want to thank you, Gene Wilder for inspiring me with yourself and movies, and what you used to do. I cannot describe the words that I am feeling right now because of Gene Wilder helping me in the non-physical world. He truly inspired me. This quote "Time is a precious thing. Never waste it." by Gene Wilder that was the part that triggered me and it changed me life. I am still crying over Gene Wilder's Death. Alzheimer's disease is a killer to the old-peep's, which like I said earlier… I really wish doctor's out there in the world can find a cure! 🙏🏻 He left us a quite a lot of amazing movies/telly-shows for us to cherish forever to eternity, which is amazing 😊 “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”/“The Frisco Kid” is one of me favourite movies from one of me top #28 favourite actors of ALL-TIME... Gene Wilder 😍😍😍 I really lovey love love love this movie SOOO much because I feel like I'm in a different world (In the movie) and I am literally with Willy Wonka traveling with him in his wonderful Chocolate Factory and I am the last child to take over his Chocolate Factory and I am a (I am really Jewish) Jewish cowgirl traveling with Gene Wilder's character and Harrison Ford's character in the Western world. Furthermore, there is ALOT of parts in the movies "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and "The Frisco Kid" that always makes me cry (Teary-eyed) because it just brings back memories whenever I watch both movies several times and the parts itself are simply so super duper wuper beautiful, amazing, fun, fantastic, and other positive words! 🥲🥲🥲 So today I am going to remember Gene Wilder... Like I said earlier… I am going to watch the movies "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and "The Frisco Kid" for the MILLIONTH time on VUDU because today, August 29th, 2024- Thursday, marks the day he died today 😭😭😭 Then after watching the movie today, I am going to play the song "Scrumdiddlyumptious" (Which is me #1 favourite song) by the most awesomest and coolest bloke ever... Nick (Pogo) because this song will FOREVER and EVER remind me of me one of me top #28 favourite actors of all-time, Gene Wilder 😍😍😍 Gene FREAKING Wilder was SUCH A BOOGLY WOOGLY FREAKING DANG INSANELY TALENTED/SUPERB/PHENOMENAL/EXQUISITE/OTHER POSITIVE WORDS ACTOR WHO WAS THE WORLD’S ABSOLUTE GREATEST ULTIMATE/LEGENDARY/PRODIGY/SAVIOUR GOD/KING OF ACTING EVER... THAT HE DESERVED 1 INFINITE TRILLION Oscar/Golden Globes/Emmy/Tony/Grammy/BAFTA/Honourary AWARDS (Non-acting awards out there)!!! He should’ve been an EGOT (The highest COMBINATION acting award) winner!!! 😭 I’m grateful he existed on Earth. If he didn’t exist… Idk where me life would be and the world would’ve been different. I will never be okay 💔 But the only thing I can do to remember him by watching movies, videos, etc. and every August 29th... I hope God/Heaven is treating him well 🙏🏻

I love how many of Nick's songs are on spotify, but I wonder why this specific song isn't. this was the first song of his I had heard back in 2013 and since then I've loved all of his pieces of work. but this one will always hold a special place in my pre-adulthood life.
Thousandth time listened to, and still holding up :)
Loved all your films growing up Gene! RIP
the good old days, when candy was mixed with LSD.
Willa Wonka makes the world a lot a cooler.
Pogo, thanks for giving me something to do my homework too. I can focus so much more with this song and with "I do what I like and I like what I do". Amazing, thank you.
"If you want to make mistakes, they'll end with Paula Deen"
I’m embarrassed at the amount of times this has been on a loop. It’s so addicting. lol
I'm so glad Pogo has his account back! Love you Pogo
I want to open a classic sweetshop like this in 2020. Would you lot visit if you saw one ?

Recreating songs
Done right
I love it
This is my favorite out of all your works! I love it!
Put this on Spotify as a single please!!!
( giggles) it sure is scrumdiddlyumptious alright!
The music man can, cause he mixes it with love and makes the world sound good!
damn..how is there even any dislikes on this lol. This is probably one of my favorite pogo videos
the zip with lava makes them

"Everyone can make mistakes" "the miracle of weed" am I the one one who hears this?
I can't believe i heard this song for the first time 8 years ago, and here i am, 2021 still enjoying it as if it was that very day
Wonka-ful!!!!!
@pogo could you please upload this to Spotify?
Wish this one was on Spotify - totally in my top 3 Pogo mixes! Just brilliant!!!
