How to Enable Merge / Combine Shapes in PowerPoint 2010 Tutorial?

EVEN THO I HAVE FOLLOWED THE INTRUCTIONS AND I HAVE WINDOWS 10 IT STILL CANNOT BE MERGE! ARE YOU USING A PREMIUM ONE??

This question is asked by many that they are unable to use the Merge Shapes even if it is available or a question like yours.
It's not about Windows 10 or 11. It's about which version of PowerPoint you are using. The Merge Shapes is available in 2010 and later versions but in 2010 you might also require to follow this tutorial to have Merge / Combine shapes in the Ribbon.
If the command is available and you are still unable to use any of the Merge Shapes commands then you might be selecting the objects on the slide the wrong way or the objects are not compatiable to be merged.
If the commands are available but greyed out even after selecting more than two objects then you should consider the following:
1. You should always first try the Merge Shapes on two or more Shapes.
2. You must select at least 2 shapes to be able to use the commands.
3. Which object you select first also matters when using Merge Shapes.
4. Instead of using regular Text Boxes, use WordArt to type the text if you want to Subtract the text within from a Shape.
Hope this much helps and if not then let me know the specific issue you are facing in detail.

3. from customize ribbon or quick access toolbar you can add combine shape option into the system.

The problem was that the merge tab was not in the ribbon, so I check for hidden commands in the toolbar and it was there😭

You can Combine, Subtract, Union, Intersect or Fragment Shapes with other shapes or Text with a Shape. If you want to use Merge Shapes on two different text boxes then my advice is to use WordArt to type your text instead of using the default Text boxes in layout.
