I sure learn a lot from you about cattle. Like the male/female twin issue and now that the birth weight of a bull is an indicator of the size of the calves it will produce. I'm not farming so I won't need to know all this but it satisfies my desire for useless (for me) info. lol Thanks and good to know you're getting rain!
I am very happy for you guys to see all that lush green grass and even puddles of water on the trails! Hopefully it sustains itself for years and you can put this drought behind you.
@JB Weld Any relationship to the JB WELD company ?? If so, you're welcome, I think my Father and us girls kept your family in business in the 70's and 80's...LOL
Your cattle is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! You can tell they are loved and so well cared for. Im SO glad I found your channel. One of the BEST referrals YT has ever made. Thank you for sharing this adventure with us as well as the amazing education. I am all over post from over a year as well as current, I haven't been able to stop watching and Im binging..lol Thanks again.. Many blessings!!
Last year I wrote a very long story about bull sales in the Sandhills of Nebraska. It was in the Grant County News issued at Hyannis. Such an interesting topic. EPD is expected progeny difference. It is a science and the catalogs are very filled with facts. All of the catalogs gathered back then are now treasures in my archive.
Bull 101 will be a New Rock for your Ranch. So cool getting him from a Ranch that has done so much in the past 50 years. What a nice looking bull. Thanks for sharing Mike
Thanks for sharing your new arrival. Congratulations on the new bull! Wonderful seeing green grass all around too. Praying more rain and NO hail!! Have a good day.
Still loving the rain we're getting! Feeling very blessed indeed!😇🙏🏼Hopefully we can put this drought years behind us🥰 Here's to many offspring from LOL! 🐄🤠
Love watching your channel. My grandfather raised Black Angus in Illinois. He named all of the calves after his grandchildren. It was great helping him out with them and the upkeep of the fencing. Thanks 😊

Nice green grass with adequate rain couldn’t have happened at a better time for you. Fingers crossed the bailer and tractor that have been sitting for a few years all work too! Looking forward to finally meeting you as a Harvest Host guest later this summer.
Nice looking bull there, Mike. Sounds like you have a good prospect there for your heifers. I think all of us are happy to see the green grass out there. Makes a huge difference, to be able to plan out your pasture rotations and the hay that will be available, a real cost savings. That's something you know well by now. Good luck with LOL and I hope everything goes well with your cattle. Have a great week.
88 lbs is a high weight for a bull to put on heifers. I was taught to get a bull in the low 70 lb range. Good luck next year during calving season. Have your straps and chains ready

Would love to see a video if that and the weights of full grown cows. What does Crackerjack weigh? Will he fit on the scale system? 😆 💘 🐂 🐄 🐐 🐖 🐇 🐔 🐱 🐕 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
I just got back home from Yellowstone and I was happy to see all the green in you're area of Wyoming. Last year when I drove through there it was pretty brown.
