- The California Teachers Association is concerned Gov. Gavin Newsom's May budget revise will impact classrooms for years to come. They believe the budget would cut funding to education.
"It's an assault on public school funding," said CTA President David Goldberg. "The governor outlined his intentions to implement an unconstitutional maneuver with our guaranteed public education funding."

The education system in California needs to be completely overhauled with the teachers are concentrating on math, English, history, science and put some civics back in school so our children are better informed about how this country is supposed to be run
California education system is already trouble. This will make it worse.
The primary reason our education system is in trouble is because its under the control of teachers unions. Want to improve education. Take every proposal made by teachers unions and do the exact opposite. We need to make it easier to fire bad teachers. Focus heavily on STEM, skill acquisition and apprenticeships and get rid of all the woke DEI garbage and “ethnic studies” courses.
Governor Gavin Nelson try really hard it time for all teachers to respect him because when he says it already a done deal so u a going to have to live all u teachers vote for him on the second round
