I'll be at UFC 300 fight week and uploading lots of interviews with the fighters tomorrow!
Do you have any questions for Alex Pereira or Jamahal Hill? Let me know 👇
I was waiting for the podcast lastnight, but I’m sure it’s a very busy week and gonna have a lot of other work and content to put out
No disrespect to either man but I'd love to know how their defence games have been improved: Pereira with his head movement, Hill with the leg checks.
I'd like to ask Alex how he feels with this fight at 300 compared to his other recent big fights. I'd also like to ask about his next year or so given that he must be coming close to the end of his fighting career, who would he most like to fight as a champ and who would he most like to fight in general if given the chance?
I'd like to ask Hill who he would want to fight next if he wins his belt back?
Can you ask Alex if he is learning English? He needs to connect to the English speaking fans!!! 🤞😁👍
1 thing for sure they'd both chin Bisping 👊
Ask Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill whether prime Crocop is the worst matchup for Jon Jones on paper and whether they would take a fight against prime Crocop only to be kicked to death?
Make the most of Alex while he's here..hes active as fk exciting fighter 1 of best things that happened to ufc in last couple years but he's getting on now couple more years left
Who knows, considering Glover is his mentor, maybe he will fight well into his 40s.
His power will stay with him until 45. If he learned ground game in next 2 years, then no one can stop him. Imagine if he has the sub game like Olivera🤣
@@cricketcavalry1824he'd be almost unstoppable with Charles ground game , that would be badass.
He's got those quick knees up the middle. Hill better be careful.
Respect to Hill for sure but if we look what they've done in their fight careers Alex is miles ahead. 2 division champ in Glory kickboxing and 2 division champ in UFC.
we shall see ;)
Means nothing styles make fights
MMA is not a battle of careers. Anyone can lose or win on their best or worst day.
@@TroubleOnTheWaters I'm speaking about things that Alex accomplish in fight world not just MMA. Generally speaking he accomplished more then Hill if we speak about fighting in general.
Tired of these pseudo youtube mma expert
Finally a Video that's Not bias. Definitely Alex is a better fighter, and Jamal has a big puzzle to solve. Which is isn't impossible, Jamal is a good fighter as well. I'd say 60/40 Alex Pereira.
ya definitely really accurate analysis lmao
Micheal I wanted to ask you something off topic but it’s been worrying me the last few weeks. Bout a year ago I went to have cataract surgery which is quite rare for a young person. Last month I fell asleep watching the snooker one afternoon and when I woke up my right eye where I’d had the cataract surgery on well my vision was all distorted and blurred. I gave it a few days hoping it would settle down but it didn’t so went up to the Chelsea and Westminster hospital where I’d had the surgery and after bout 4hrs of test they finally came back saying I’d got a detached retina. They asked me if I’d been in a fight or fallen over and knocks my head which I hadn’t and have now referred me to see a specialist at The Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. They told me that after surgery I’d prob lose 70% vision in that eye, this is what I’m most scarred about. Did you have the same sort of thing happen and decided to have a false eye rather then live with 20/30% blurred vision. I’ve been putting off going to the Moorsfields for the surgery for a few weeks now, and have started wearing a patch over that eye cos the blurred vision gives me headaches. Would really appreciate any advice 🫶
I dont think he will see this, sorry to say.
@@MMANerd27 well you did ya big spaz lol 😂 couldn’t help ya sen from replying ya lil troll, F off I’m not asking you I am I
@@MMANerd27 what's its got to do with you, he might see it you don't know
You should reply to his pinned messages
I'm not qualified to push you in any direction but I can say my hope would be that techniques in the medical field will advance to the point where your eye can be partially restored. In that case I'd be happy to have put up with one eye being blurry for however many years.
The dark souls “you died” was a nice touch mate. 👌🏼
I think Hill is gonna try to blitz Alex early because he knows the calf kicks and the achilles recovery is going to be a tough combo for him. When Hill rushes in Alex knocks him down with the left hook
I like Hill but I can see Alex going straight through him. Striking on a completely different level.
Great video, thanks for your analysis
I've got it 50/50, slightly leaning towards Hill, cause he's got better chin. Anyways, I'll freaking enjoy the show! Let's gooooo!
When has hills chin really been tested..
🤣 50/50 huh??

I absolutely love how there are so many people who are overlooking Hill. I think people are gunna be surprised what happens.
Your also in for a rude awakening
If his Achilles holds up there’s no way he’s 100%… I’m not overlooking him I just know that injury takes time to recover from
nobody is overlooking hill. Hill is spreading lies that people overlooks him. hahaha
When I hear you'd be surprised it still makes me freaking crack up from JRE 😂
If you look at the odds. They are not far apart
Honestly it all depends on who shows up. not literally, fight fans know what i mean. Great video btw love the breakdown and how realistic you are instead of just picking fighters. "The best fighter does not always win" Love this.
Big difference between losing to Adesanya and losing to Paul Craig…. No offense Paul
Mike love your videos.. mostly very balanced views. I do agree that people are sleeping on hill.. anyway we shall see. Fist bump from a fellow Brit!
Great job Mike, I could not come up with such a great analysis buddy. So right on. I am for Alex, but he has his hands full with this guy. God bless you and your family.
One eyed Mike is the only one that couldn’t see this coming. Alex is way better than Jamal “I’m being overlooked” Hill lol CHAMA 🔥🗿🗿🗿
Dark souls in a bisping video 😂☠️😭
I'm hyped for this fight!
Strange i feel like you wanted to say its not going to be another Adesanya , Khabib, Islam and O'Mally fight. these are the hit and run & hold down drag out fighters. This is why two of these fighters, and no similar styled fighters could be on the main fight event. Alex & Jamahal are the perfect fighters for the last fight. they come to fight and leave it all in the ring. This is no queen pageant show.
I’ll keep repeating it til the cows come home… Alex is a better kickboxer and Hill is a much better boxer. Hill is near prodigious timing kicks and coming over top. He’s also significantly younger which most ppl keep overlooking. And he’s a southpaw to boot. Alex has only fought a single southpaw in the UFC & that was the unfortunate receiver of last weekends nasty eye pokes Bruno Silva. while Alex did wash him, Silva took him to decision and has some good moments landing heavy as his kicking game was massively hindered and he struggled to load up with his left hook.
A switch hitting southpaw is a NIGHTMARE for An orthodox fighter with heavy lead left. Hills jab shoulder can do a significant amount of protection and it limits the load up potential Alex has with his left. It also somewhat mitigates Alex’s ability to attack Hill’s lead leg. He can’t afford to throw left leg kicks - Hill flatlines him inside a round if he does that. So he’ll have to swing his dominant leg all the way around to land anything. Given hill’s ability to predict and attack over top leg kicks, this is a recipe for disaster. Hence why boxing advantage matters. IMO Hill gets into boxing range quickly. He has to or Alex will tear him apart if he finds openings at range after all with that right leg. Hill truly is one of the more naturally gifted boxer on the roster. No clue why ppl don’t see that but this is going to give Alex fits. Silva got inside boxing range and had a ton of success. As did Jiri who won the only round they finished.
I’m not saying it’s a clear win for hill bc it’s not. But it’s an attractive better line given the odds that’s for sure. I’ll happily lose money on this fight if proven wrong. Will be a fantastic scrap
People keep forgeting that Poatan is a BJJ brown belt and that there's no way in hell that Hill is as slick as a fighter as Izzy,
Hill dominated texiera on the ground
A blue belt will domanate a brown belt? Good luck.@@rizzo021
Jan Blachowicz tried. BTW, Hill is a blues belt, Alex is a Brown Belt.@@rizzo021
I’m here for the way you say
‘Paul Crrraaaiigg’ 💯😂
Edits are top notch 😂 😘🤌
I agree with all points except one, and that's durability. AP gets rocked in about every match I watch with him, whereas Hill has taken plenty of nasty shots and has rarely, if ever, been rocked. His TKO loss was from getting stuck in a triangle with a broken arm and taking elbows where he was just stuck and unable to defend himself. When it was called off, he still had his wits about him. So I'd give Hill the advantage on durability. All other points I agree with though. Just my opinion.
@bisping When is the Press conference?
People forget Alex got slept by izzy who doesn’t punch nearly as hard as jamahal. If hill connects it is OVER. this fight will be similar to izzy vs Sean. Jamahal has better fundamentals and doesn’t rely on power to win. I actually think he has more power than Alex and if he can stop the calf kicks, it ends in 2.
And you seem to be forgetting it was at a lower weight class
Nah. Alex is very good adjusting, and his coach fought and lost against Hill. For many reasons they want to win. Odds are in favor of Alex piecing up and KOing Hill.
@@iamjagold he’s not good at adjusting. He’s fought people who are strikers so all he has to do is adjust how he strikes. Hill can wrestle and Alex thinks hill isn’t gonna wrestle. Once Alex starts being the hunted he’s going to shell up. He has no head movement, doesn’t slip punches very well, but he can end people with one shot. Hill can move better and has better body kicks/elbows. Anyone saying it’s an easy fight is as casual as they come. Watch the tape, not the highlights
Big “if” with Hill stopping those kicks
It all comes down to how hill shows up. Alex ALWAYS shows up. Hill is recovering from an injury less than a year and hasnt fought either. All things perfect sure Hill sleeps Alex otherwise
your mma breakdowns are literally the best on youtube. based on facts and analysis. great work mike!

You should stop predicting fight results!
Whoever complains about this fight being the main event at 300 has no idea. You know there aint going to be any dancing around or wrestling. The only prediction I have is it wont last all 5 rounds. Cant wait for this banger!
The best guys use wrestling. Jones, Khabib, GSP, just to name a few. Go watch WWE or K1 with the other casuals since you don’t actually like MMA.
Was boring.
@@williammoore1980you sound like a moron calling people casuals for having an opinion. Unless you’re a fighter stfu dude
Best analysis so far with Alex and Jamahal. Only advantage I would give to Jamahal is straight punches, this fight will most likely be at a distance, if they are smart there will be no brawl moments, in that case I give the advantage to Hill because his 1-2 is very good. But let's see how that low kick of Alex will work. CHAMA
He has seen similar 1-2 probably 10 000 times
I’m worried for Hill. Not so much his chin, but the injury to his Achilles. Pretty sure the standard is a year of recovery, and then start training hard, but I believe it’s only been 9 months or so since the injury, and we’ve seen that he’s been training in that time. It could be good to go, and I’m ready to eat my words because I want this to be a good fight, but if it’s not 100%. My question is how is it gonna hold up after one of Pereiras heavy calf kicks? Whether it gets seriously re injured or not. How is one kick gonna affect that leg compared to a 100% healthy leg taking a kick? On top of that, if it’s not 100% how is that gonna affect his explosiveness with his punches? If he’s not able to generate all of his punching power which he’s gonna need if he wants that KO. He’s gonna end up getting picked apart, but I’m honestly thinking we could see a terrible injury TKO.
Both these guys are warriors ready to go out on their shields. Jamahal's one loss makes him look even scarier, he had to be put down like a rabid animal to get stopped by craig and STILL kept fighting after getting potentially crippled. 2 years later he's champ. He's got a berserker mentality and can tank anything less than a shot to the button. If you met him on a battlefield you'd have to basically decapitate him
Hill is from Grand rapids not detroit
When the fighting style is same and Pereira is the GOAT of that fighting style, people should put respect in Alex Pereira's name. CHAMA
Great breakdown!! Hill is absolutely dangerous, not to be underestimated. I used to be a fan but he’s so full of himself now it’s unbearable. Alex is a champion through and through, and a man that has inspired so many people. I hope his success continues 👊
The fact UFC 300 isnt a PPV in the UK speaks volumes
How lol what does it say to you
This fight is so hard to call, i like the over 1.5
That was an excellent analysis. I'm just glad Dean Thomas did not chime in.
😅😅😅😅
Bisping!
Jamahal Hill for the heavier knock out power. Alex Pereira for the speed and precision. I like Jamahal's chances of winning if he's fit and stays calm but uses that aggression wisely. Should be good whoever wins. Hopefully no long term injuries for either guy so they can keep getting back in there quickly and entertaining us all.
Jamahal is never fit, he is built like a bag of milk
Will be a good, competitive fight. Could go either way, but I think Alex will get it done for all the reasons mentioned.
Poatan got some quick knees up the middle. Hill needs to be careful.
ITS GONNA BE A BANGER NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS , i just think Hill will resort to his judo if he gets in trouble. Alex has nothing to fall back on if he gets in trouble.
I personally am pulling for Alex but as they say , ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN AND JUST MIGHT.😎👌
I think the win will go to who has the better chin we seen izzy sleep alex an i know alex beat izzy to but my point alex will go to sleep i dnt know if hill will
It will come down to those deadly calf kicks of Poatan. He throws them early. He throws them often. They have no telegraph. 💀 And since Hill is coming off that serious achilles injury - If he doesn't have an answer for those kicks and isn't willing to at least threaten a takedown every now and then to discourage Alex frrom throwing them, then he is gonna find out very quickly why people aren't confident in his chances
Bro reading this, i just pictured the calf kick a j hill falling in agony and the fight gets called off, man that would suck
With that said , i hope it holds up, no excuses
P DIDDY: I AM YOUR DADDY
If Hill is 100%, I think he beats Alex 7 of 10 times. Not many people are 100% one year after achilles tear and repair. It really depends not only on his achilles, but his fitness/cardio level s/p recovery. I wouldn’t bet on this fight. Hill relies on lots of lateral movement. He circles and throws long kicks or blitzes in with punch combinations. Hill also has a better chin.
I think its 50/50 as it stands now.
Yeah i mean Hills chin has def been tested , fought many champions, avenged losses, won many championships oh wait no thats Alex. Hill is about to be tested finally
If Hills injury is fully recovered he's gonna put Alex in the ground and y'all are gonna be shocked. This dude ain't been rocked once and never goes backwards. the injury combo'd with Alex's calf kick is my only concern for Hill
5:10 Alex has right hand KO’s with bigger gloves in Glory, he can also put you to sleep with his right hand but hasn’t showed that in mma yet
Bro is dropping a who’s a better fighter vid before they fight. I guess we’ll figure it out won’t we.
No. Them fighting will prove who was the better fighter on that night (and even that's not 100%), but it doesn't necessarily answer the question of who on the whole is the better fighter.
@@triumph.over.shipwreck them fighting will prove it.
@@biimedicalsupplies9304 Great chat.
@@triumph.over.shipwreckFunny because your folk were all saying Strickland is a better fighter after 293.
@@Obiodum_ my folk?
Jirl is not a way better fighter than Jamahal Hill. Jiri nearly lost to Glover Teixeira. Hill completely dominated Teixeira. Jiri is a bit more well rounded but has terrible defensive. His unorthodox striking is what throws people off. But more technical fighters will find openings. Hill destroys Jiri. Pereira has the experience and very technical but doesn't have the best foot work. I think Hill can win if he stays calm and pick his shots as he usually does. Keep pressure and throw kicks to Pereira's left hand. It's going to be a great fight. Somebody is going to sleep.
Yeah but Jiri is a samouraï you know, so as per casual Jiri > Jones
Jamahal’s kicks will be ineffective against Alex
so Gaethje is not a better fighter than Bobby green because Tony went to a decision against Gaethje as opposed to Boby ? Jiri took everything from Glovar at the age of 42.
Mma math doesnt work casual, theres no way of knowing whos better between jamal and jiri unless you analyse their fights together side by side. Jiri could be a better fighter, who knows.
His loss from Paul Craig was counted as a TKO by punches from guard.
Jamal Hill doesn't get knocked out by guys at 185. He's true 205 size and power. Have to see if Alex can absorb one of Jamal's haymaker bombs. He's put alot of good fighters to sleep.
And the amount of Championship rounds?😊
Hill literally has a pooch. What are we doing here?
-1 for saying O'smelly is the best boxer in UFC
I think it a 50/50 fight lets see who get cut first
0:57 Hill talked about being bread in mma, yet it comes out, Alex has been inside the Octagon for more time than Hill 🤔
Marketing fail. I realized today that its this weekend? The date of ufc 300 should have been more synonmous when speaking about it. Ive heard "ufc 300" for months, im not saying im smart and attentive, and thats the point of why they should blast the date more. Even the poster doesnt say it.
Michael go complain to somebody for me. Thank you
People say hill never lost his belt so he's still champ when he literally won a vacant belt too. The last LHW to win a belt from someone else was jiri when he beat glover
Injury inactivity will be Hill’s main concern. He’s coming back to fight the best he’s ever seen
Hill for me, and see him winning stopage in the 4th ?
Sean wasn't a champ when he beat him tho Mike
Besides Iggy, who has Pereira beat that was a true champion at the time he beat them? Beating a guy that has a vacated title doesn't count
Hill has shown over and over how much power he has at LHW. Alex has shown he can be rocked and often is in his fights.
To me, the real question is... can Hill avoid getting his legs kicked to pieces? I think if he can do that... he has a GOOD chance of putting Alex to sleep. If he CAN'T avoid those kicks... bad night for Hill.
Notice that's the only thing of Pereira you can mention?
Alex does get hit a lot and Hill got some tricky striking.
lol love the Tim Kennedy jap 😂😂
I got Hill in all of this, Pereira has yet to show a good chin even struggling with middleweights in that aspect, if Hill hits him with a good punch or that brutal headkick he was using against Glover Pereira will most definitely go to sleep whereas I can see Jamahal Hill taking some hits from Pereira in comparison, Pereira's main trump cards are his left hook and his leg kicks but with Hill's skill and strength he's not just going out cold after one or two of these and compared to most fighter's Pereira has faced in the UFC (literally all except Izzy) Hill is a way better kickboxer that will perform way better against these leg kicks and be better at avoiding the left hooks than basically anyone else, I do also believe Hill has a HUGE advantage in the wrestling/grappling department compared to Pereira but he won't use it anyway so it's a non factor, if Hill and Pereira are the same as they were in their previous fight I got Hill, if Hill got better but Pereira got worse or stayed the same I got Hill however if Hill got worse due to him needing to recover while Pereira only got better because of his new experience at lhw against Jiri I can definitely see Alex winning if that is the case
Something you forgot to mention is that Hill has never been knocked out but Pereira has. I believe this is a really good fight. The odds are against Hill but I do think he can get the job done.
Knocked out by a hall of famer who's fought him 4 times.
i still believe pereira didn't win by much or at all vs Blachovic and if he fights the same way which was very causios outpointing with calf kicks staying on distance because he got koed by izzy....but hill a bit longer so i think he will ko pereira if Pereira is still too afraid to engage
Figured I’d throw my 2 cents in. Alex wins this fight via 1st round KO OR if he can not get it done in round one, Jamahal gets 5 minutes to adjust and IMHO WILL FLATLINE ALEX ANY ROUND AFTER ROUND 1. Alex has better come out fast and hard or it’s gonna be a bad night for Alex
Okey
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂!
Why ask the question? We're about to find out.
Have to disagree. The power leans towards hill. Splitting hairs because both men can ko each other but hill flatlines guys
Hill is stone cold gangsta, pereira is fuckin ded
My two fav fighters other than the king himself fedor
I almost don't wanna see one beat the other
I really like BOTH fighters. Jahamal has got that dog in him though. So that's who I'm going with. May the best man win.
Huge factor is the true state of Hill's recovery from a catastrophic injury. I guess we'll see...
Hes checked 5 legs kicks in his career lol gl
How can you say take a shot the same Izzy knocked him out cold hill hasn't been knocked out punch power he's only knocked clean out a middle weight hill has been knocking out light heavyweights hill is gonna show that all Alex has is that DANGEROUS leg kick hill takes him out within 2 rounds bet
That's it. Poatan is a better fighter but that doesn't mean too much in the end. One minimal mistake and you lose.
Pereira's Chin is not that bad... actually the weight cut to 185 was brutal
Damn Poatan is scary.
No way this goes. To a decision
Lets put some facts on the table
1 Adesanya knocked alex out
2 j hill says hes not gunna wrestle
Alex he's putting him to sleep
3 Alex had fought many top tier fighters
1. ) we can all agree, if Alex treated the 2nd fight with Adesanya , with the precision and patience of a sniper ( looking for holes to hit adesanya)
Instead of throwing a barrage of uncalculated strikes, adesanya wouldn't of hit him with that ropeadope ko
2.) Jamal hill is giving alex more opportunities to win if he doesn't
Wrestle/ grapple
3.) Alex has fought sleepers, but how many people has j hill fought with the kick boxing expertise of Poaton?????
With that said, alex for the win!
It’s gonna be similar to what happened to Strickland
I bet Jamahal instantly starts attempting takedowns almost instantly.
Alex is the better striker & fighter here, not underestimating Hill, just pointing out out when you compare these two guys but Hill has some real power, don’t sleep on him, he could get it done, but I think Alex wins by Brutal KO in round #2
I think Hill can get it done
