Absolutely love your style!!! I’m working on getting back into the industry after being out for 18 years. I was a full time tech from ‘90-‘06. That pink and white era really put me to sleep once I mastered it , and working with acrylic did a number on me. I’ve been playing with the YN line and am loving it! Gel has come such a LONG way! I have found some great products out there but the education that comes with YN is a no brainer for me. I am fully confident I can book a clientele like I once had.
Question: Are there any videos on posture? I’ve been looking for tips on what’s the most ergonomic way to set up a station.

We have had our licenses about the same time! I am super excited for you to do what you love! I’m sure there is a video posture. The most important thing is that you’re sitting straight and your shoulders are relaxed and not too high. Your client needs to be sitting straight as well with her elbow out that makes a huge difference.

How is your client not feeling heat with that removal bit?? Is it the torque of the efile? The bit itself?
You want to use very light pressure and let the bit to all the work to remove product. Also, not staying in one place for too long helps as well.
Our bits are the very best! As you see i. This video… I’m able to work in a timely manner with my client totally comfortable! I’m using a course safety bit to remove all her product and her gel polish. It’s the way I utilize the e-file and the movement that brings down bulk quickly with no pain or Burn. I used my efile on 12,000 RPM’s. If you go, any slower than that, they will fill heat. I also never staying in the same spot. Thank you for enjoying and watching.!! 😁💅🏻💖✨🤩

Mjay, what grit safety bit are you using when removing polish in the beginning?and what speed?
It’s our coarse safety bit around 12,000-14,000 rpms.
I was using it on 12,000 RPMs.

It’s called a palette knife for painting you can get them at any craft store, in all sizes
Unfortunately, we do not. Painting knives are available at a craft store or on Amazon.

Fiber gel is not as strong as hard gel. Fiber gel a soft gel.

I don’t do full pedicures. I do gel toes and cuticle work. 85% of my clients get their toes done to batch their nails for me.

For prep, we work around 3,000-5,000 rpms.
For shaping/removing bulk around 12,000-16,000 rpms.
