Special Committee, supported by outside counsel Cooley LLP and forensic accounting firm Secretariat Advisors, LLC, finds no evidence of misconduct on the part of management or the Board of Directors and that the Audit Committee acted independently
If the committee was an external panel of experts, why would they feel compelled to assure everyone of their confidence in the Independence of the committee? Too much vague legal speak in their statement.

Seems outside law firm and accounting firm also involved in the committee which seems more promising. This is from a Yahoo Finance article - “The Special Committee engaged independent outside counsel Cooley LLP and forensic accounting firm Secretariat Advisors, LLC to aid in an investigation on behalf of and at the direction of the Special Committee.”
I recognize that most audits will have concerns with any company. Therefore, the use of the word "substantial" is significant when discussing potential fraud.
I just wonder if those short sellers know anything about this industry at all. Are they going to be sued for destroying companies reputation at will? Scum bags so to speak . Very immoral. E&Y is just too short sighted or haughty. Their loss.
One of the members of the comittee is a director. How independent can it get ?

If I unscrew and open an iPhone and Huawei would they be similar... or who stole from who first?
Who is on the committee? External independent people? Is it credible? Surely that has to be covered in this segment?
“Susie” is the committee who works at $SMCI 😆 no 10-k filed yet. These guys are pumping SMCI.
“The Special Committee is comprised of Susie Giordano, an independent member of Supermicro’s Board of Directors." Per SMCI website.
So a director auditing is independent ?
So funny... Is this legal in your country?

Did not raise any substantial concerns.... But some insubstantial ones? Who decides the definition of "substantial"?

Imagine if it is an agreement between the short seller and EY to tank the price. Would be interesting
SMCI to the moon 😜
Scam
Hindenburg hasn't commented because they are running for their lives. How much money have they lost on this short?
I’d say the shorts have already made a killing and are looking at their next target. As the shorts exit then the price could pump even harder.
