Jan just casually explaining movesets while Mystic is staying his energetic self when talking, idk why, but it gives me Mirio and Tamaki energy.
That's our boi Jan for ya, he always sounds like that, like ALWAYS lmao.
Who?
@@vedaryan334 Jan is pokemon challenges's name
who is Jan?
You can get a guarantee electabuz by having a level 34 first in your party while using repels since it’s the only Pokémon in the power plant with that level or higher so eventually it will show up.
SMART, THANK YOUUUUU!!! Hadn't thought of that actually, dope advice.
@@slicklol stumbled across it by chance one day trying to avoid voltorbs lol but electabuz with light screen/reflect is op in the elite four.
@@dr.jessyglaub Love electabuzz
:O Thank You!
Finally all those years,
Venasaur:best starter for fr/lg
Charizard:best starter for nuzlocke in fr/lg
Blastoise:best starter for radical red
Haha yep
Yes
squirtle is actually only usefull against brock in radical red. after that it falls of a lot, because there are a lot of better water type option
@@adityabhuyan5822 yes and no mega blastiose have shell smash and mega zard x have fire lash but blastoise have a lot of coverage
So there all best starters, so there's no "worse starter".
Damn, PCs laidback attitude really make him sound bored When he collab with other youtubers
thats the boy thoughhhh
That's why we love him. No need for the overly hyperactive persona.

Because most Poketubers are trying to appeal to children who like loud and affirmative personalities. Jan's audience are 20 somethings
@@somedogsarecops2354 well Jan’s doing it right. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve been gravitating towards poketubers like him and sticking with ones like HoodlumCallum (yooo what if those too collab???) cuz they’re chill and low energy, while repelling away from ones like aDrive cuz they’re the opposite
Never expected this collab
I know right
Same
shat myself when i suddenly heard jan in a mystic vid ROFLL
Yeah, same.
Pokémon Challenges and MysticUmbreon, the crossover I always wanted in the series but never deserved
Jan is really built to be only a streamer
I think it's the microphone quality.
Congrats. Now you need to do all the games so I can binge watch all of them
lmao☠️✋🏼

This IS THE VIDEO WE NEEDED
And the collab!!!
Yes and the collab!!
Mystic Umbreon literally collabing with all the Pokémon UA-cam goats

4:55 Another really useful piece of information for players in leaf green, if you want a Nidoking (which is widely considered to be better than Nidoqueen) you can take a Nidoran (F) on route 3 and than go to the exit of the Underground Tunnel leading to Route 11 (after beating Misty) and trade it with the the girl there for a Nidoran (M). After you can evolve your Nidoran (M) and than use a Moon Stone (found in Mt. Moon) to evolve into a Nidoking, which gives you a powerful, fully evolved, ground Pokemon ready for Lt. Surge.
Like so more people can see this and use this information.
Plus it's traded so it receives a lot more XP.
The P in PC definitely stands for pork chops.
so true
For Leaf Green Starmie is one of the most broken pokemon in gen 1. Many chances to encounter it. It gets stab Surf and stab Psychic, then has unreal type coverage with Ice Beam and Thunderbolt. Its crazy fast and has really high spec attack. Another thing is your video seems to focus purely on end game. Raticate is so good early game. You are almost guaranteed to get a rattata encounter and it learns a base 80 move in hyper fang at level 13! Plus it gets stab so its really a level 13 with a 120 power move like 5 minutes into your nuzlocke.
I’ve been nuzlocking leafgreen and am prepping for the elite 4 right now and COMPLETELY FORGOT Staryu could be encountered lol, just caught one in Vermillion so fingers crossed it’s good
damn how did you manage to get jan to join the video pretty epic
This is great, I hope you guys do the other games too. And Gyarados is absolutely ridiculous just for how easy it is to get, it's the reason why I felt like I had to ban catching dupes completely even if there's no new Pokemon on the route. The ability to have a Pokemon that strong and just be able to replace it super easily if it dies is ridiculous
The collab I didn't know I needed, but so happy to see.
I'm excited for this series of best Nuzlocke teams. In the middle of 3 different nuzlockes (Plat, Y, and US) switching between failures and been using his best teams for the regions depending on the starter and what I can grab. Thanks for doing this and keep it up, hope you do best teams for nuzlockes with the other starters as well but understand that this is hard enough as it is already.
PC has done a lot of nuzlockes. From more restrictive rules to really hard ROM hacks. Glad to see you collab with him on team building for nuzlockes.
Please do more Nuzlocke Teams.
I wanted to start Nuzlocking the Official games, and you're team guides are just the best there is.
Been waiting for this Collab
I just got a pc recently and have been loving nuzlocking. I really hope you guys make this video for more games :) this is super helpful
Mystic and Pokemon Challenges together. I never expected my 2 favourite poketubers/ pokemon twitch streamers to come together for such a cool series
It’s like when the avengers got together for the first time. Magical
FINALLY MYSTIC IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS COLLB
This is the greatest concept you could have possibly tackled Mystic. I wonder if you’d tackle all of the other games as well, it’d be unbelievable. Just get Jan to be a little more detailed next time looool
Dude just sounds like he’s bored with life and doesn’t even wanna be a part of this, Mystic you’re amazing 👍🏾
You uploaded this video in the time where I needed this most.
You alright? Just having issues with team building?
I am Nuzlocking FR rn as well
Then it vanished?
To all nuzlockers for fr/lg, the guys didn't hype how useful gyrados is in this game
Here is a great move
Water pulse to Surf (curse you physical/special) split
Return/strength probably the only move that I agree with (depends on your rules) return is better but strength is needed
Bite Then switch to Earthquake bite will get you through the most of the game you need it (*cough* Sabrina *cough*) but earthquake will be amazing as soon as you can do it Elite four
Final move PERSONALLY I usually go for thunderbolt BUT keep in mind you will need an ice pokemon to win and while he's not the best special attacker gyrados in a pinch A STRATEGY AS I PERSONALLY LOVE IT IS TO ABUSE TM LEARNING AND SWITCH AS NEEDED FOR ELEMENTAL ATTACKS
eg I used blastoise as my starter (cause blastoise is lit) and had run out of fire pokemon for Erica so I gave gyrados flamethrower then carried an ice beam TM for fighting giavanni
Not a collab I expected! It would be great to see you two do more of these.
I remember when pokemon challenges was mocking gen 2 i was reminded of no other guy then him lol
PERFECT TIMING I JUST WANTED TO DO THIS NUZLOCKE JUST YESTERDAY
This is the best collab in the history of collabs
Here are some good surprises I discovered playing a bunch of nuzlockes on LG&FR : (playing on set mode).
Vaporeon is actually really good, played it with surf- acid armor - ice beam - bite.
Arbok is a great support member with intimidation. Played it with Glare- acid (10% chance lower def) - bite - toxik. (glare for fast offensive pkmn and toxik for tanks)
Fearow and dodrio are great in switch mode but not in set mode cuz too fragile... so I played pidgeot (little bit more bulky) with feather dance- aerial ace - return - attract.
For me Venusaur stays the best choice as a starter because of its high def stats, leech seeds and sleep powder... I don't think you need a fire type in LG&FR if you have a good flying type cuz there aren't a lot of ice and steel types. Most ice types are also water types (covered by grass and electric) and for steel, there is only magneton. Easily handle by any ground type or just earthquake.
So my point is : your selections are great in choice mode but not in set mode. Most of these pokemon are glass cannons. As Jan would say, in set mode, you should more likely use a defensive team with 1 or 2 fast pokemon.
Amazing video with an even more amazing guest!
You should do a full description of what a nuzlocke is and what the vid is, then include a time in the description for when the content starts. Just a thought.
Love your content!
Love the collaboration. Pc needs to balance his audio a little bit though. The disparity in the volume levels is huge at some points. Love you guys though
whoa! its been a little while since ive watched your vids [nothing personal! my life has forced me out of the loop!] but mystic, i noticed an improvement in your audio immediately! your voice never sounded so clear, and i've picked up on your narration sounding more enunciated, too, if i'm making any sense. and i thought jan was a perfect collab partner. both of you have great, chill voices, so there's no stark contrast & makes the video a really pleasant listen! ♥
So if Eevee is your Celadon encounter how exactly can you buy Abra from Celadon Game Corner as well?
I like going with Venusaur because Sleep Powder can help so much with getting encounters, and it gets Synthesis to heal itself if you choose to play without healing items during battle. Also, while I practically never use them for battling, catching Meowth is really good because it has the Pickup ability that can get you free vitamins and other good stuff.
One thing of note regarding the team is both the guaranteed Abra and Eevee are located in Celadon City. According to the Nuzlocke rule of 1 Pokémon per area, the player has to choose one over the other (unless they make an exception for gifted Pokémon).
You do offer alternatives to each of them, but I figured it was worth mentioning. There's nothing worse than being 20+ hours in a run, only to realize it's invalid due to a technicality.
Omg two awesome content creators working together 🥺
This video is really entertaining for me, for some reason.
I was waiting for it
“No Pokémon is guaranteed”
Gyarados in any game where you can get an Old Rod Magikarp:
I like this and would love more. You should have him on for more of these videos
Clefable is also one of the best pokemon to beat a Nuzlocke game:
-A gigantic movepool
-Access to Encore. I enfatize this because its one of the best moves in a Nuzlocke game
-Great Stats
-Access to it very early in the game (I recomend evolving it at least after it learns Encore).
-Has no Gym weakness (unless you go to the Fighting Dojo) since it’s a Normal Type.
i always go with venusaur, gyarados, fearow, raticate, dugtrio, and snorlax. all of these are guaranteed encounters with dupes clause, and you can have a full final team after the pokémon tower. i’ve also occasionally switched out raticate for an eeveelution. an interesting change i might make is switching gyarados for lapras. i’ve always played with the rule being that a static encounter is my encounter for that area so i might just skip out on the hitmonlee.
I never realised this before a couple months ago (where I started playing gen 1 remakes) but all the starters are very darn good at their specific roles. Sure venusaur coverage late game is kinda lame in gen 3 due to not getting access to petal dance before post game but it's still pretty helpful for catching Pokémon without many problems as much as kinda sound very situational but it still can be pretty good as a tank and remember tanky Pokémon is like a priority in your nuzlockes.
If you get an eevee, level it to 30 so it will learn bite. Jolteon's poor move pool means this is great for coverage. (Also Bite is Dark, so its considered Special in Gen3 so even better!)
I love that Jan is coming up in the community
Honestly, I don't really do Nuzlockes, but nice work on this team, to you and Pokemon Challenges. You both did good. This idea is certainly different, just not for me, though.
On the last stream I put on the coments of a collab with pc, and than this comes out! 🔥
YESSSS POKEMON CHALLENGES IS HERE BOIS
YEAAH, go to do next team for nuzlocke👍
No hoen no restrictions next
lmao at Jan straight yawning in the middle of Dugtrio's moveset and just like not doing another taker
Finally make another nuzlocke best team
Yes please do more of these
That's what we need
Mystic: Normal, enthusiastic voice.
Jan: *tired*
that's what 77 tries at nuzlocking emerald kaizo does to you

Finally, the promised day has arrived
Yes Pokemon x and y next I am planning the do one
I didnt get the notification for this video, but Im here from PChal's channel.
If you happen to have a butterfree by the time you find a random abra, you can also sleep powder him to avoid the teleport thus making the capture more feasible ;v
What if Jessie and/or James were actual Gym Leaders?
Which type would they specialize in and who would they train under?
They’d specialize in poison because Arbok and koffing
Mystic, I have an idea for you for a new best team. What about:”The best Team for Pokemon X/Y using only Eeveelutions?”
Btw, I chose pokemon X/Y since it’s that gen where a new eeveelution got added, Sylveon. You can also use ORAS or sun/Moon
Great vidz thx my dudes
Charizard (Fearow, Dodrio)
Gyarados (Lapras)
Nidoking/Nidoqueen/Dugtrio
Jolteon (Power Plant Electric Pokemon)
Snorlax (Clefable, Jigglypuff)
Kadabra (Hypno, Jynx)
Imagine if the pokemon on the team die in the Nuzlocke lmao
He expects you to switch level up the magiccarp without dying? What?
@@fanboy7877 it’s not too hard. Keep in the front of your party through Mt. Moon and nuggets bridge and you should easily have it by misty. Also I think they are assuming you capture other mons like pidgey throughout to help
@@fanboy7877 Imagine dying while switch training.
@@fanboy7877 the only time that would be challenging is if you for some reason decided to do it on diglett. Just... switch them out?
@@fanboy7877 bruh i just started nuzlockibg and its not too hard. i did it in fire red and emerald pretty easily
I like this combination!
Neat
If it's the best at the time, I'll take Bulbasaur because it could sweep the first 2 gyms
Bug Catchers pokemons barely have any bug type attacking moves
Btw Mt moon is a pain in the ass since it requires 4-5 repels to get out safely with handful of Hikers who use Rock or Fighting types

*rewatched for 3rd time because I turned the video on in the background of nuzin'
I always want to know the best teams, I like to challenge myself with an average pokemon team, like lickitung and dodrio
My fav pokemon line is the bulbasaur line, and vaporeon is my favorite eeveelotion.
OH MYYYYYY. MY TWO MOST FAVORITE POKETUBERS. COLAAAAABB!!!
Ssssssaaaammmmmeeeeee
Yay
Umbreon was of course the eeveeloution that I used in Pokemon storm silver
interesting, i am in the middle of a firered hc nuzlocke now (got 4 badges) and my team is charmeleon, jolteon, gyarados, snorlax, hypno and nidoking... no cap
If there's no cap then it isn't a hardcore ruleset. /s
Do all of them now lol
Hype
I called it in stream chat I knew it was a pokemon challenges collab
I make sure to never leave Mt. Moon without a Gyarados if I'm using it. It is mind numbingly boring, but might as well get it out of the way.
Yes this series yea
Since you did a best team for every gen how about a best team for little cup
I beat FireRed nuzlocke with a Hypno, Electrode, Snorlax, Vileplume, Lapras, and Dragonite.
7/10 team cause electrode is not good and dragonite has no almost no dragon STAB moves
Pog.
Personally I would choose Bulbasaur for a nuzlocke, so I can take care of weedles from Bug Catchers and in the wild to prevent poison damage due to how poison works in Gen lll
Suggestion:Best Full Eviolite Team
Please Do the move names when u explain the Movesets cuz it's getting confusing when u say 2 pokemons 2 moves like Gyarados and Lapras in the video
Ohhhhhhh shit he has God king PC. All hail the greatest pokemon nuzlock player in the history of the world.
Wasnt this just the team we all took in casual plays? Nice video though
Platinum next
