From my understanding, kiln wash goes onto only the side you will place the pots on ;)
thank you for sharing! i ended up just doing one side this time. last time i had some of the wash flake off during a firing and set into the glaze of my cups ruining a few… so i decided to just go for one side this time!
Only one side gets painted with kiln wash and you stop about 1/4" in on all sides. Otherwise the wash on the underside will drop down onto your pieces
