Haha sometimes I think it works for him, because when he does have one that is true, like the dibber then he can act like it’s just as ridiculous and they get fooled.
Amazing 😂 I have what I call “semi perfect pitch” and when I heard that note I thought to myself “I think he’s actually right!” So thanks for confirming haha
@@wajihbec1087 whistles used to literally have a hard pea inside them. That was the thing that would blow around and create the whistling sound. I’m sure it’s plastic now, but it was originally a pea. Obviously in English “pea” and the letter “P” sound the same, and notes in music are denoted by letters. Obviously they don’t go up to ‘P’ but that’s ok! He had been challenged with a bunch of other sounds, and responded with letters that are traditional parts of the music scale. For the whistle he could have said anything from the traditional octave, but because ’P’ and ‘pea’ sound the same and ‘P’ is also a letter it was funny in this context. You can see how long this explanation is. This essentially happened in Lee’s mind in milliseconds.
Ohhhh the producers have such fun making Lee's life hard. They're constantly giving him things that he has to demonstrate, which he hasn't a prayer of pulling off as believable. I think they just like to watch him flounder!
A compilation of Lee either giving up or complaining about the ridiculousness of a lie after the fact would be brilliant

Wouldn't be very long tbf
I love how at one point they just gave up on thinking of remotely believable lies for Lee. It works so well.
I don't really enjoy it very much. It entertains me more when he tells convincing lies.
The truth is that Lee writes cards simultaneously with both feet while never using his hands.
David is not looking inconspicuous in his red and white striped shirt and colourful tie! Stepping out for the festive season.
Love that Lee was right about the note being A
And also about the G...
@@massab32sounded more like a C to me, but that may just be a speaker issue

@@massab32 i went back and played notes on my guitar until it matched the sound of the triangle and i've come to the conclusion that it's actually F
The whistle being a ‘P’/pea is so bloody brilliant to come up with on the spot.
Can you please explain I still don't get it
@@wajihbec1087I think its just cause P isnt a musical note, so he is just taking the mic of the music system

@@kuruman1 great explanation thank you so much! Now i can laugh along properly 😂
@@kuruman1 P for penalty. He is a football fan
You can tell the producers take great joy in stitching lee up with the most rediculous lies imaginable
7:37, as a musician with perfect pitch, it is A
Damn, Lee is quick!
Did you say you wanted four candles or fork handles? Yes, that’s exactly what I said! 🎉

DUDE that is the A note :D how the fuck he knew that :P so funny!
The producers of WILTY always give Lee Mack the most ridiculous propositions.
Good thing his wife didn't ask for four candles
Or tell him to go and enjoy an antique hunt.
Are you meaning fork handles instead?
Anyone else shocked the floor is flat?
the funny thing is that he did correctly guess the A,it truly was
that is quite a wilty lineup ray winstone AND rachel riley??
😂😂
Wot language was the foot card written in
These nonsensical stories are anti-comedy. The producers should know.
